Gardenia Hotel Reviews
" Excellent Hotel - looked the best one... "
Submitted By: Mrs LE Stringfellow
Excellent Hotel - looked the best one in the brochure and did not disappoint. Room was warm and spacious and looked out over the mountains.
Good choice of pastries, ham cheese, fruit, and yoghurt at breakfast. Evening meal traditional four courses. One night there is a gala evening which we shared with 2 families from Rome and ended up drinking champagne and eating birthday cake.
Lovely steam and sauna room which is very welcome after a long day on the slopes.
Resort is quiet in the evenings but a few cosy bars which were enough for us.

Even though it is the 'wrong end' of the village for most of the ski lifts it is literally a 5 minute walk to the ski school and lifts. If you still don't fancy the walk there is a locally run ski bus, but the hotel does also run a mini bus service which is very good. Ski room has heated boot rack- so no wet boots in the morning.
Wellness centre is welcome after a good days skiing.
Staff do speak English, but few words of Italian goes a long way.
