Hotel was what was expected for a 3 star in Italy- clean and tidy.



Resort was excellent for skiing.



Ski in ski out complaints, if you can't walk 20 yards should you be skiing.

Just returned from very enjoyable Feb 08 holday. Excellent ski resort for intermediates. Sunny conditions every day for the week, all runs except for one were open. Few minutes walk to the piste. Varied pistes, well marked out. Excellent ski school.... read more

Visited New Year 2007/08. Pila 2000 is a little above the Pila-Gorraz chairlift (effectively the bottom of the pistes). Virtually ski-2-door but tight and steepish turn-off from busy section of piste. Pila 2000 complex has doctors, pharmacy, ice rink... read more

Having just returned from Pila, I was surprised by some of the reviews of the hotel and food.



Our room certainly didn't have plaster falling from the walls, nor was there any shortage of wall sockets (we had at least 5).

We found Hotel Pila 2000 to be very disappointing. The staff were courteous but the room was very hot, plaster falling off the walls, no plug sockets and very cramped.

At the start of the week food was quite poor (luke warm, not a great selection) but picked up extremely well the last 4 days, watch out fore the veal!!!!

Just returned from Pila, 4 lovely sunny but cold days, 2 with Snow. Hotel is comfortable, rooms well heated (if not excessively so, and we couldn't turn the radiator off!).

Actually we found the food in the Pila 2000 the best we have ever had on a ski holiday! The rooms were well-heated and spacious and although the TV did not have any English channels, there is a separate room for DVD viewing.
