Basic but very helpful and friendly staff, they would go out of there way to help and make you feel at home. A minibus was always on call in the evenings to get us to and from town. On the side of a steep drop into Cervinia - a challenge to start the day on the slopes. The red run back to the hotel is fairly mild.

Hotel basic but comfortable and clean. Staff really friendly and helpful. Although holiday offers ski to door, you need to be a confident skier as it is a red run to the hotel. The alternative is a walk into the village each day in order to take the cable car. A downhill walk into the village was okay, but needed a taxi to get back to the hotel after skiing as it was hard work with equipment. Would stay at the hotel again if my skiing improves!

We had a cracking holiday at the Furggen first week of April 2010.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - in fact they couldnt do enough for us.
Nothing fancy, but a comfortable hotel with spectacular views. Very friendly house dog too.
A fifteen minute walk to the village (downhill there...but uphill back!)- but the hotel runs a shuttle bus on demand between 6 and midnight which is great.
The hotel is right on the slopes (red run 3) - so confident skiers can ski from and to the door. Less confident skiers can easily join a blue slope by walking approx 150 metres.
We had dinner at the nearby Bricole restaurant - this can be arranged by the hotel and can be recommended.
We will certainly return.
