First time skiing in 10 years, wasn't sure what to expect but great resort.
On the Italian side of the Matterhorn and at 2000 m above sea level, snow is almost guaranteed. Meynet is a really nice family run small hotel. Clean, comfortable. I'm going back this year.
There is a restaurant in the basement which is fantastic as is the Matterhorn (good value) and Jour et Nuit (fantastic steaks).
The hotel is a short walk 200m from the end of the runs.
It is worth taking the area ski pass as it allows you to ski in Switzerland (don't forget your passport) where there is a glacier that allows almost year round skiing.

We were a little apprehensive booking a 2* but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.
A lovely hotel which is very under rated by Crystal in our opinion (especially after staying in Hotel Des Guides the previous year - DEFINITELY avoid that place!)
The rooms are a little small (but absolutely fine for what you use them for!) and they were warm and cosy. The ONLY thing I can think of that was slightly annoying was the lack of water pressure, although the water was hot every day.
The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was great with lots of choice and it was good to have the option of an evening meal in their restaurant. The location is perfect and convenient for everything you need in the village.
This is the 2nd year we've been to Cervinia and were very disappointed with last years accommodation (supposedly a 3* !!!) so we were SO happy to stay in such a fab hotel ~ really cute and we had a great stay here.
DEFINITELY book this ..... it's an absolute find and we will definitely book again ~ but be quick, they only have 7 rooms. LOVELY LOVELY hotel ~ highly recommended !
