Definitely the best hotel in Les Diablerets. Situated on a couple of minutes walk form the Meilleret ski lift. The room decor was a little old-fashioned but clean with lots of space and excellent views.
The best thing about the hotel was the swimming pool and sauna - essential after a hard day's skiing. The food was excellent too - they did have some odd things on the menu some nights but there was a choice to satisfy even the fussiest eaters. The only bad thing was a group of around 50 rowdy men from a car factory in Sweden, but they were only there for a couple of nights and the hotel management did deal with the problem following complaints from other guests.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Les Diablerets. The snow conditions were excellent - we skied all day, everyday. However, the glacier was closed some days because there was too much snow. Perhaps not the best resort for beginners as there are not many blue runs. There are 4 or 5 bars and plenty of restaurants.
