Hotel is great for the cost, rooms although not large are ample, quiet and clean. Nice to have tean and coffee making facilities also. Staff very friendly, and free internet. Shuttle bus to Universal is good also.

Great Location to Wet 'N Wild and Universal Studios from PastorWalter
We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. The service was excellent from all of the staff. We had a 50th anniversary party for my parents. The food was excellent and the wait staff fantastic. We were able to get rooms close to our family. They are remodeling most of the rooms. They have new wide screen TVs and bathrooms.

Assistance in planning our family reunion was way beyond the call of duty. Provided a great value and personal service. Rooms were well equipped. Loved the parents' retreat in the pool area with hot tubs, lounge chairs in a secluded area. Very large, clean, pool area--my three kids loved it! Walked to Wet-N-Wild. Easy access to interstates and quick trip to Disney. More than enough places to eat, shop, and play within an easy walk. Would definitely stay again.

We held our family reunion at the Best Western Orlando Gateway hotel and secured all of the rooms on the first floor. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to know every room on that floor contained one of our family members and that if you wanted to walk through a room to get to the pool they'd let you in! The pool is large, with 30+ kids playing, you could still swim laps. There was also two hot tubs, a covered patio so the older family members could participate without being in the sun, a basketball court and tennis court. <br... more

This hotel is the best! They have wonderful rooms and suites, large flatscreen TVS, and the beds are so comfortable. The location is great, 5 inutes from Universal Studios and SeaWorld, just 10-15 minutes from Disney and walking distance to Wet-n-Wild. All of the staff are super-friendly, and so willing to help. There is a great deli that is open later in the evening and the restaurant is so good, especially for breakfast. Very nice pool too!

The Clarion is in the process of a rebranding at the moment and is now part of the Best Western chain. I stayed here for four nights in July and I found it to be a very good hotel. My room was large and spacious with a terrific view of the pool, tennis courts and (beyond that) I-Drive. The Room: There was a huge TV in the room and internet access (though of the plug in kind). Stayed at the Clarion Universal for 8 days in June 2009. The hotel is ideally located if you are going to be doing the theme parks and has a large car park so you always have some where to park. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned daily, however the time they get cleaned seems to vary each day as they only seem to have 1 maid to a floor. We arrived at the hotel after a long flight on June 18th 2009. It was just what we expected and more. We read reviews about the hotel before we went away but we felt as though these people were being picky especially after our stay there. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and made a great impression and were never let down by them over the 2 weeks we were there. We paid $3.50 a day which you pay at the end of your stay ($49) and we noticed people were not impressed with this and I can understand why as they don't make you aware... more

Stayed here for 2 weeks from 13th - 27th June. We had a nice room overlooking the front of the hotel. The rooms are a nice size and bright with free tea & coffee supplied every day. The Location is about a 10 minute walk to I-Drive and right opposite Wet N' Wild which was handy for those really hot days. The only trouble I had was the shower was quite unpredictable and would switch from hot and cold water frequently. Bit annoying but not a massive worry.
