Celebrity Resorts Hotel

I was very dissappointed with this resort. We had know idea that we had to walk across the street and try to locate our room. So my husband and i decided to continue looking and once we found it, the room had a terrible odor, it was nasty and run down looking inside. I will never ever invest to stay at this resort again. So to the future guest be ware of what you are getting. Looks on the internet can be very deceiving

Well where to start, $850.00 a week for a 1 star resort, we are in the process of leaving today, this place is in terrible shape and I can see why Clarion dumped it, the place is in the worst shape I have seen for resorts that I have stayed at around the world. The grounds are dirty, pools are not kept up, rooms are/not clean upon arrival, microwave did not work, ac did not work, plumbing leaking at stool in master bath, ants in kitchen, property is dark at night as lights do not work, you can't even call the front desk as the phones are... more

Just got back from our stay and wanted to let everyone know that this resort was OK. They are in the process of upgrading the rooms and I actually toured one of the rooms, it was beautiful. Once all is done, it will be a very nice resort. But as of right now, it is OK. It's very 80's but clean and fully equipped for your needs. I would stay here again. I absolutly loved our stay at the Celebrity Resorts. There was a ton of stuff to do. Me, my brother, and our friend found plenty of things to do (basketball, game room, 4 pools, 4 spas, sauna, etc.) while our parents had fun on their own as well. They had wonderful live entertainment at the main pool. We met a lot of other families as well. We stayed here for 3 nights in July and were very disappointed. We will not return. Our one bedroom unit was in desperate need of updating. It was clean but clearly showed its age. Furniture was chipped, bedding torn, cupboard doors fell off, bath and taps had seen better days. Kitchen appliances were old and unreliable. Noise from next door could be clearly heard and the air conditioning system must be the noisiest in Florida. Staff at the front desk were not interested in helping. Was there in July 2004. Check in is at 4:00 PM. Expect your key at 4:00 even if you request early ck in. Rented the supreme deluxe room (two units combined). Although the units are in urgent need of updating (worn furniture,carpeting, paint,) the units were clean. Especially, the bathrooms and kitchen. House keeping came by and vacumed and exchanged towels daily. Pool was nice especially the indoor one. Had some rain, hung out there part of one day. Large spacious suite easily accomadated our family of six. A few minor updates could greatly enhance the ratings. Linens were clean, but stained. The staff was more than willing to change out stained linens. Good location, easily accessible to Disney properties. Would definately stay here again.

The facilities at Celebrity Resorts are fabulous. We booked the resort through Interval International's getaway program. We arrived after a 800 mile drive and were pretty tired. Check-in took about 5 minutes, and we were in our room very soon after our arrival. We had a deluxe suite with 2 bedrooms and a den with sleeping area. The AC unit in the larger part of the suite was not cool, but after some investigation, I found a thrown breaker. The outside grounds & pool area were well maintained. But the rooms were old and worn and during a rain, the ceiling in the Living Room leaked. The Villa was very large and the location is very good, but they still need to make some major repairs & update the furniture.

Our room had ants, dirty carpet, dirty bathtub and fridge and toilet paper holders torn off. The one bedroom suite was across a four lane highway away from the main complex. The pool had cigarette butts and dead bugs floating in it. The staff was rude. When we asked if a 2 bedroom was available in the main complex, we were told it would be a $50.00 upgrade and we could not afford it. They told us there was nothing they could do about the ants in the room, then they sent someone at 11:00 at night (when we were asleep) to spray the room!!!... more
