Buena Vista Suites Hotel

Our family of six just returned from a 10-day stay at the Buena Vista Suites in Orlando and had a great time! Our kids are 10 and under, so the sleeping accommodations were fine for them (2 on sofa sleeper, other 2 in second queen size bed). It is difficult to find comfortable accommodations for six in one room, so this hotel really fit the bill with queen beds rather than doubles like most. I chose Buena Vista Suites mainly from reading the reviews. We were very impressed from the moment we walked in - wonderful lobby and friendly staff. The hotel is MUCH nicer than it looks in the web photo. Our room was oversized and comfortable, easily accommodating four adults. I decided to go to this hotel because breakfast is included, it has suites, and it has a close proximity to the Disney parks. In addition, what influenced my decision was all of the good reviews written about the hotel on Trip Advisor. We had a few mishaps, clogged toilet (which was fixed IMMEDIATELY), housekeeping took my husband's bathing suite that was wrapped up in a towel (which was returned shortly after we let the front desk know about it). We stayed 2 nights at the Buena Vista suites and had a great experience. My husband, 3 kids and I went to Disney with my sister and her family, who were visiting from PA. The hotel was spacious, clean, and had a courteous staff. We all enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It saved us a ton of money and time in the morning. We also took the free shuttle to MGM, which also saved us 2 cars' worth of parking fees. Overall, I would recommend Buena Vista Suites to anyone. We , two adults and 2 children, stayed for two weeks as part of a holiday package. We had to pay for a safe box in the room. WE lost the key and were told we had to pay 75$ to have the lock drilled out. When the man came to the room he hit the top of the lock once with a hammer and the lock popped out. It didn't take him 7 seconds from when he entered the room and he didn't have to drill anything. I objected to having to pay the 75 dollars as any thief passing while the maid was busy or distracted could have cleaned out out safe in a flash.... more

I just stayed at the Buena Vista Suites, we were 6 adults in total, the rooms are very spacious, all of us slepted comfortably, even in the sofabed. Room service was very helpful in bringing extra pillows and towels, also filters for our coffemaker, which were not there, when we first walked in. Stayed here for 5 nights with wife and 2 kids shortly after hurricane charley. Rooms were clean and spacious. The free buffett breakfast was good, and was as described by the last reviews. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a bit more space than the average hotel room.

We stayed in Buena Vista Suites without substantive prior research during Hurricane Charley and were impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially given the circumstances. The suites were spacious and clean; the beds were comfortable; and many amenities were provided, including a fridge, microwave, 2 tvs, etc etc. Even more important to us, our two "25 lb" dogs were welcomed. The only problem we had was that when the power went out, the stairwell lights did not activate; luckily, we had a flashlight.

After thoroughly reviewing many off-property Disney area accomodations, our family chose Buena Vista Suites for our 7 day early August stay. We made a good choice! The hotel staff were very accomodating to all of our requests. Check in was quick and easy. The 2 room suite was spotless and larger than anticipated. After doing hours of research on Orlando area hotels, we finally decided on Buena Vista Suites mainly because it included a free full breakfast and its location to all the Disney attractions. We were very happy with our decision. With 3 sons, we needed plenty of space and the rooms were bigger than we had anticipated and very clean.
