This hotel was such a friendly place. Rooms cleaned, linen changed, everything one could want, and the nicest, most helpful staff you could ever wish to meet.
All they wanted was for you to enjoy your holiday, which we did, and we are returning in three weeks time.

Everywhere I went everyone I met, from head of hotel to cleaning staff - every restaurant every beach - the people who have nothing compared with us, were so happy and content to help you have a happy holiday.
I saw so much of the real India also, and at the same time had a most relaxing and wonderful experience in Arpora and the surrounding district. Ashvem Beach and all the young folk in shack cafe etc., were so helpful and considerate and absolutely charming.
I do not exaggerate at all when I say I have travelled all over the world, and I found the Goan people to be so pleasant and I can't wait to return.

To be honest, because I had read the bad reports that had been written about this hotel, I was dreading our visit.
I hasten to add that we booked the holiday before we read the reports. But as we found out you should wait and make up your own mind.
It was one of the best holidays we have ever had, the staff were very very friendly.
The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis thoroughly and carefully sheets were changed daily, in fact in my opinion, the opposite to what we had read.
In fact we enjoyed ourselves that much we have booked to go back next year.

I have written a manuscript regarding my holiday in Arpora - visited twice during December/January08 - If you wish I will send it to you for feedback -
We had a wonderful holiday, always bearing in mind where we were, and found every person we met to be kind and helpful - Staff at Hotel Abalone, Arpora, very pleasant, attentive and could not do enough for us. Absolutely delightful in every way.
Also at Asvem Beach, in the little shack cafe there, the lads the kindest and most helpful and considerate young men you could find anywhere. Amish, Gopal, Shavran and Lucky, Ravi, Amid and and the other helpers, brilliant. Also Pundu, who has the little clothes shack on the beach, all very genuine young man.
Must also mention our young taxi driver, Parshu - amazing driver and a great friend now.
