Park Hotel

We thought the hotel offered excellent value for money. Considering all the food was served from a buffet, it was of excellent quality prepared on site from fresh ingredients. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly without being pushy, especially Sonja. Situation is right on the lake, close to all amenities. Room was a decent size and housekeeping of high standard. Resort offered plenty of activities, but is quiet enough for those just wanting a peaceful time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Park by Lake Bled. Our rooms (not lake side) were comfortable (and as a single traveller, I appreciated getting a standard size double room rather than the broom cupboard you often get!). The meals were buffet style and were excellent in quantity and quality. Breakfasts included the usual breads, pastries, cold meats, hot eggs bacon and sausages, and pancakes. Dinner was a little busy at times, but the staff were very quick to replenish empty trays. There was a good amount of choice for meat eaters, although perhaps not quite so much for a vegetarian (as frequently is the case in Europe). There was always a salad bar, 3 or 4 main courses and cakes/icecream/fruit for dessert. The public areas aren't quaint and cosy, more open plan; but the swimming pool and jacuzzi were nice - indoor on the top floor with a great view of the lake. The hotel has a great position right on the lake side but doesn't really have any outdoor space. I enjoyed the public crazy golf course right next door!

This hotel is in a perfect position . The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent with plenty of choice and always hot . Well worth paying the extra for a lake view .Lovely indoor pool with superb views . Many bars / restaurants within easy walking ditance . Overall standard of the hotel is very good.

The Park Hotel has a excellent location, but we had noise problems from casino punters in the early hours and a humming sound caused by the lift. The food was acceptable but not great, salad or soup for starters,the main course had various options but the deserts were cake or ice cream. The hotel lacks outside seating areas and the lounge is plastic covered seats and tables. The hotel has a lot of coach parties stopping for one or two days and tend to be very elderly. As the two OAPs at the next table said " the place is full of geratrics and zombies". Also 14 days is too long, 7 days is enough to see the area.

hotel location is fantastic - on the edge of lake bled. all staff were excellent. first class. special mention to the bar staff. stayed half board and the food was of a high standard and very good choices. would definitely visit bled again and would definitely stop at this hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Didn't opt for evening meal but breakfast had a good, buffet style range. Excellent location in a very nice resort.

Booked to go to the Park Hotel with Crystal Holidays last xmas. The hotel rooms were very comfortable, hot showers, mini bar, lots of wardrobe space. The cakes served at the hotel were amazing but the food served over the festive period was a bit disappointing. Not really xmassy!! Had the most amazing massage at the hotel by a really friendly lady, definitely worth doing but be prepared for the naked locals in the sauna!! Amazing swimming pool too. We did the caves tour which was quite good although quite a walk! Did the trip to capital which got a bit boring after about an hour of walking around in the cold. All the staff at the hotel were really helpful and the waitress we had in the evening was lovely. Lake Bled is a very romantic scenic place but once you have walked around the lake once, there is not a great deal to do there. The horse and carriage ride is a bit of a rip off as you have to share with another couple - very intimate - not!! It is worth venturing out and trying some of the local restaurants the food is great and not badly priced!!

Bled is a beautiful resort and the Park hotel is right in the centre. It has been refurbished to a high standard and is very modern looking. The rooms are small but are warm, clean and more than adequate. The food is very nice but not a huge variety. Staff were all very friendly. The swimming pool was rather cold but had great views across the lake. I would recommend this hotel!

What a beautiful place to visit. Lake Bled has got to be one of the most stunning places to visit. So much to see so little time. Perfect holiday. The Park Hotel was brillent, the pool in particular (dont forget you can use the Wellness Centre aswell) I thought the food was delicious, varied for all tastes. The people are just the friendliest we have met in a while. Smiles all round. Spent a week on a skiing holiday, nothing better than coming back to hotel, relax in gorgeous hot natural spa pool, then off for some cool beers in the pub downstairs (devils cafe') Excellent time.

My wife and I Stayed at the Park Hotel from 17th September - 22nd September. The hotel has a fantastic location in bled, it is advisable to book a room with a lake view as the view is stunning and will make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The breakfasts had such a massive selection. The swimming pool is on the 5th floor of the hotel with fantastic views across the lake. Would recommend trips to Lake Bohinj and Vintgar Gorge, we hired a car at the airport so could travel around at our leisure. The countryside was so clean and tidy.
