Have just returned from beautiful Lake Bled with my daughter.
The Park Hotel sits right by the lake with beautiful views from the lake-view balconies of the castle, church and of course the lake.
The rooms were clean and plenty large enough with a nice balcony.
The food was excellent with plenty of choices at each meal - including 2 Slovenian Nights with music and wine/schnapps. My daughter is a very fussy eater and especially enjoyed the pancakes each morning at breakfast. There was always plenty of fresh fruits and salads. The home made ice-cream needed to be tried each evening! The cafe opposite serves the most delicious Park Cake that must be tried!
The lake is easy to walk around with plenty of places to stop on route for a drink or snack. You can also take the tourist train or horse drawn carriage.
The resort is just like the brochures - beautiful and peaceful. If you want a lively resort with shops and plenty of night-life, this is not for you - although there is a casino by the lake and all the hotels/bars have a variety of music playing during the evenings.

One place I would definitely return to!
