An Completly Phenominal Hotel absoulouty brilliant would recommend it to any one who was planning to go to turkey we arrived to an fully air-conned reception ( lovely and cool ) to a very freindly and happy receptionist and to be greeted with a porter who took our cases and took us to our room he showed us round the room and told us how to use the "FREE" safe !! also showed us our balcony and everything we needed to know he was brilliant ! THE ROOM WAS AMAZING !!! They were spotless with a BIG walk in shower with a big shower head. Fridge Full With Fanta and coke bottles and water ( also sparkling water ) we were provided with a kettle and a tele with 32 channels on we were in a room made for 2 adults and 1 child the childs bed was a sofa bed but was very very comfortable and the then to single beds pushed together. Also a dressing table with big mirror. also provided with fruit tea sachets and other drinks. Pools were very clean BUT THE WATER IN THE POOLS PH LEVEL ARE VERY HIGH AND MIXED WITH THE SUN CAN CAUSE EAR INFECTION IF YOU KEEP GOING UNDER EAR PLUGS ARE AVALIBLE IN THE HOTEL SHOP. The Hotel had a couple of shops a leather shop also lil supermarket and jewerlly shop and clothes shop. 2 water slides are in the main pool. There is a pool bar which serve drinks from 10am till 11pm also there is a beach bar which is open at the same times at lunch there is a buffet down there and also a menu which you can order off ( cheese burgers, sandwiches e.t.c ) also there is the main restaurant which has a buffet the food is brilliant monday nights is kebab nights with woman rolling out fresh bread and a lil turkish band playing away usally the staff manage to start a dance in the middle of the restaurant !! there is also a fish restaurant a international restaurant and a turkish restaurant, which u can go to once a week in ur stay..there is also a cafe were they sell ice creams and cakes and tea and coffee most of the day..also there is activites on all day from shooting, archery e.t.c.. the night entertainment is brilliiant with mini disco for kids and there is also beach partys on selected days and foam partys ! side town is amazing with all the ruins where mark anthony propised to cleopatra. there is also an amplittheare which is defiently worth going in but u do ave to pay a small amount side is very busy at night maybe more enjoyable in the day :) any way that will do haha I DEFIENTLY RECOMMEND THIS 5 STAR HOTEL IT IS ABSOULTOUY AMAZING !!!

First time to Bulgaria but when we booked this hotel stood out to us and "WOW" what a nice hotel we were not dissapointed. This hotel is beautifully presented very clean and rooms are in amaculate condition the maid comes everyday i would recommend upgrading to a room with a sea view what a nice view. In the 2 wks we saw the gardner twice they realy do take pride in the appearance of this hotel it was thoughtless the pools are all the same depth which was nice especially if you have kids. Only 1 dissapointment with food thay did tend to under cook their meat but we just asked the chef to cook a little longer and they were quite happy to, Also make sure you get up early enough to put towels down as beds go quite quick . Happy hour at the pool is fab from 4pm-7am coctails are bogof if you buy your water from the hotel get it in the shop in hotel lobby as 2litres can cost 140lev where is if you buy it at the pool you can pay double same with canned drinks at the pool they charged about 2 pounds for a can where as in the shop it was about 40p ,staff are friendly and for the kids it has its own mini golf which my daughter took advantage of . sunny beach is a bit like a sunny blackpool but still trying to find its own identity i would recommend the donkey safari it great also khans tent quite pricey but worth it Bulgarian night dont bother what a commplete waste of money and the food sucked yet again under cooked chicken even your pets wouldnt eat it, At night it can get quite busy by beach but where this hotel is situated you dont hear any noise , to date its the nicest hotel we have stayed in i would highly reccommend it.

Since returning Back to the hotel for the 4th time this year as perusual we had a amazing holiday. Since they have refurbished some of the hotels fa****es and have added huge comfy type beds down by the beach area the hotel has become better then ever. The food changes every night and there is so much choice for everyone. Your definatly guarenteed a fab meal everynight. The staff are really friendly and love to have a chat with you so it makes you feel comfortable. The holiday apartments are spotless as is the rest of the hotel including the pool which is cleaned throughly every night. A Great family holiday yet again. we have already booked up for next year and none of the family can wait. Thanks again hemera for a Fantastic 2008

WOW A GREAT HOLIDAY THE HOTEL IS OUTSTANDING. ALL FOUR OF US HAD A GOOD TIME, BEDROOMS CLEANED EVERY DAY AND THE MINI BAR WAS FILLED EVERY DAY AS WELL THIS IS A 5 STAR HOTEL AND THE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. WE HAD FUN AROUND THE POOL AND ON THE BEACH. FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AND THE FAT CLUB AS WE CALLED IT WAS OUTSTANDING THATS THE PLACE WHERE YOU GET CAKES AND ICE CREAM FROM 10AM TO 5PM.
THE ENTERAINMENT AROUND THE POOL JUST KEEP COMING BUT IF YOU WONT YOU CAN JUST LAY AROUND. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE ON HOLIDAY. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BOOK AGAIN THIS YEAR BUT IT'S THAT GOOD I CAN NOT GET THE DATE I NEED AS HOTEL IS FULL.
ONE BAD THING. THE SHOPS IN THE HOTEL ITEMS COST A LOT MORE THAN OUTSIDE I WOULD SAY A RIP OFF SO DON'T BUY ANY THING FROM THE SHOPS UNTILL YOU HAVE HAD A LOOK OUTSIDE YOU ALSO HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY ON THE POOL TABLE BUT WHO NEEDS TO PLAY POOL AS THERES SO MUCH TO DO AROUND THE POOL AND ON THE BEACH. I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERY ONE.

I wish people would stop going on about how good it is as it's very difficult to rebook!! The reviews are true. You MUST go here!!! Best all inclusive I have ever stayed at. Free everything including safe and mini bar which you normally have to pay for in other places. I can't wait to go back but definitely 2 weeks next time!!!

Just returned from the best hotel ever! take my word this is a 5* hotel in every way the staff r very friendly and curteous i traveled with my partner and 2 children aged 11 and 8 the appartment we stayed in was a massive 2 bed wi air con in each room wi a pool and sea view we went there thinking it couldnt pos b as good as reviews were saying BUT IT WAS! hotel n complex were being cleaned from morning till night.
FOOD-
was always varied 2 suit everyones taste even my fussy 8 year old enjoyed the food. ice creams and cakes available near enough all day and down on the beach bar snaks were seved from bout 12 till 3 serving salad, pizzas, burgers, pasta dishes, pancakes, jacket pots etc all freshly cooked.(i definatly put on few pounds
LOCATION-
Side is a historic town with a large market,(but dont b fooled by the beggers wi babys on their knee like we were apparently their not as hard up as they look) copied cloths are very cheap. It is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel either by road or the beach (buses run every 5 mins) We took Lira but Euros are more common. One tip you must barter for everything and you will get it a lot cheaper.Bars located directly outside the hotel are very friendly, ADAMS bar and the QUEENS in paticular, both had very friendly and very well English speaking staff.
The beach was very clean and never had trouble getting a lounger. It also offered various water sports.
The pool in the hotel although cold (you soon get used to it) is excellent and very clean, again never any trouble getting lounger, there are 2 slides that are quick and enjoyable for adults as well as kid's.
The entertainment team keep everyone busy during the day (if you want it) with beach volleyball, water polo, darts competition, french bowls, water aerobics etc.
I cant reccomend this hotel highly enough it is fantastic.nearly forgot i do recomend having turkish bath, peel and massage in hotel, very nice! but you must do this on your first or second day to get a deep even tan.

I have just returned from the Hemera Hotel on 28th April. Every thing that needs to be said about this Hotel has already been said in previous reviews. I have added this review to confirm to potential patrons that this Hotel is continuing to perform to a very very high standard. Many guests were on return trips – some as many as their 5th visit. I

The best holiday we have had in a long time. Everyone was friendly , the food was fantastic and it was so clean. Took four children with us and they enjoyed everything, especially the "mini disco" and the enterainment afterwards. Having its own beach was great, the children were safe and you didnt have to fight for sunbeds. Cant wait to go again, and already got the brochures for booking again.

Wow!! What a hotel. We just can’t find anything bad to say about the hotel, staff, or resort. Side is a lovely resort with everything you could possibly want or need on a holiday.
The hotel is situated in a very good spot. With its own stretch of beach with free sunbeds and parasols. We had two sixteen year old girls with us and they loved it and would love to go back.
The hotel entertainment is very good, they work so hard to please everyone. We laughed every day, the animation team especially Robyn, Steve, and Scooby, made our holiday all that bit more special. Steve is from England and is a great bloke so if you go please say hi to him from "Adam n eve" Karen and Dave, he will know who we are.
Across the road from the hotel is plenty of shops and bars. Very cheap to eat out and cocktails are about 6 Euros and very strong! The golden fizz is a great dance bar and so is queens. They stay open very late which is great if you want to stay up after the entertainment has finished in the hotel. The main lobby bar is a 24 hour bar and is very comfy and relaxing.
It deserves the 5 star it is, is very clean and new, the rooms are spacious and the beds are huge. The maid was in everyday and changed towels and sheets every other day. Don’t take any towels as they give you beach/pool towels that you change every day.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff there are great.
Although we didn’t have young children, the kids club looked good fun and the kids all seemed to enjoy themselves.
There are English, Germans, Russians, Belgium French and Turkish people. We found them all to be friendly. Lots of English go here and are returning year after year.
If you’re considering it, please go. It has just been done up and is all new. There are lifts to all floors and slopes for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
You will enjoy it.

Wow there isn’t anything bad I can say about this hotel, if you want fun and good time then this is the place to go.
The hotel is lush since the refit, they haven't gone overboard with the refit, it’s just right.
The rooms are really clean and there is a lot of space for everything.
There are no words to describe the animation team they work so hard day and night I really don’t know how they do it and its lovely to see Steve out there working this year he was brilliant also not forget Scooby, tugi, ali, chef, serkan and not forgetting robin.
The bar staff where really friendly to nothing was too much trouble even at 3 in the morning wanting a drink in the lobby bar!
One of the main highlights for my holiday was the beach and foam party that was so much fun foam went everywhere also the Olympics go England we won it twice thanks to our captain robin.
Also we had so much fun partying over at the fizz I miss you all we had some great nights there partying to the early hours of the morning they were really friendly they even were upset when we left if you’re going over there tell Murat the bar man I want a gin fizz and also say to him shakira shakira no tequila tequila he will know what I mean.
We are going back next year for my birthday if you want a great time then this is the hotel for you especially the 24 hour bar that they now have!

This was once again a fab holiday. We returned for the second consecutive year and will be returning not next year, but the following.
Had a great holiday, the animation team were great as always.
This hotel is a brilliant place for all kinds of families with young kids, and teenagers, even young couples; it has facilities for all. I recommend a Turkish bath for anyone who likes to relax and be pampered.
Fizz bar is always worth a visit for a dance and a drink, not expensive if you fancy a night outside the hotel.
Best holiday I have had, enjoyed it so much and a great place to meet new friends, have a laugh and if you are feeling cheeky causing a bit of mischief as we always managed to do!

We have stayed in all inclusive hotels before but oh my, what a place the Hemera is! It is absolutely fantastic. The hotel staff are really helpful, polite and well "groomed".
The food is fresh, plentiful, varied with different themes of nationalities such as Italian nights, Mexican nights etc. There are plenty of sun beds if you set your alarm early.
Free towels, water and soft drinks in your room every day. We have never stayed in a hotel that is constantly being cleaned it is spotless, even the toilets and as for your room it just cannot be faulted. If you go out of the hotel onto the front go for a hair cut and shave at "Oscar's" you will get pampered for about one and a half hours for 9 euros, believe me you will go back every other day.
People complained about the animation team which was quite poor but in fairness we didn’t go for that.
We went on a boat trip we were out for 9hrs got lunch on the boat all for 12 euros (walk to the beach turn left and it is the first place you come to that does water sports).
There are plenty of bars in the grounds; the bar in the reception is open as long as you drink, you can even order a late night Kebab to be delivered! We wasn’t going to submit any info because every one we spoke to are booking again for next year, but the day we returned we booked straight away for the Hemera.
I could go on all night about the Hemera it was that good. Thank you every one brilliant!

Just returned from a utterly fantastic 2 week holiday at the Hemera Hotel in Side. It was one holiday that we really didn't want to return from!!
We met lots of lovely people from all sorts of backgrounds - lots who had been here before & lots who hadn’t but who would all come again.
We arrived very late on a Sunday night to a welcoming reception with directions as to where we could grab something to eat. The room we had was very clean & very roomy - cool laminate flooring, large double bed, TV, air con, simple bathroom with the most fantastic walk-in shower!
The room was extremely well cleaned daily with fresh towels & replenished mini-bar F.O.C. Simple to use free safety deposit box. Very simple room but very nice & comfortable all the same.
The very large pool was lovely with a separate small children’s pool & another part divided by a footbridge with two waterslides. Lots of sunbeds surrounding the pool although the only gripe was that you had to get up a 6 am to reserve one(or two). If you can't beat them, join them!!
The food was fantastic all-round wherever you ate. The main buffet restaurant served so many different & varied dishes that you couldn't help but find something you liked -even if you are the fussiest eater in the world.
The snack bar (near the beach) served simple but tasty lunch. Pizzas, pasta, burgers. Omelettes, salads, soups, breads, cheese, baked potatoes - to name but a few. There are 3 other separate restaurants, fish, international & Turkish. We only tried the Fish (as we ran out of time - it went so quickly!!).
Others we talked to recommended them all but you must book at least one day in advance!! You don’t have to wear long trousers in any of the restaurant which I found pleasing.
The hotel is right next to the wonderful beach. However there are a few hidden rocks under the water so be careful. Although if you walk out of the hotel onto the beach & go to the left past the watersports place then the rocks seem to disappear - walk to the right & the rocks get more frequent.
This was our 1st all inclusive holiday & I can honestly say that we would never do anything else now. Absolutely fantastic , everything was included from beer, spirits, wine, soft drinks, ice cream, cakes & coffee.
The hotel staff were friendly, waiters were helpful & animation team were very good. If you don't want to get involved then you don’t have to but I would certainly recommend that you do. Great fun !! The evening entertainment was good & the Olympics were great to take part in ( if that’s your thing !).
All in all it was a fantastic holiday enjoyed by us all & would totally recommend it. One thing I would have to say is that it is not quite 5 star standard for me. Although it is a very good 4 star!!

Me and my best friend stayed at the Hemera last July and really enjoyed it. We just went for a relaxing holiday!
The food was excellent offering lots of different choices and restaurants, which was good as my friend is a fussy eater. Hemera has its own part of the beach which is lovely and was only a short walk away from the main pool area; it also has a beach bar for all your drinks and tasty homemade pizzas, burgers and salads.
There was also a patisserie open daily for ice-cream, cake and coffee. Every day in the afternoon 2 members of staff would walk round the poolside with melon and water so you didn’t have to move from your seat!
The entertainment team are working almost 24/7 with the children, round the pool, or working on routines for the nightly entertainment. All lovely people!
We were quite surprised on arrival how nice the rooms were, it wasn’t really expected. Mini-bar stocked up with cold soft drinks was good... all very modern... clean bath robes, towels and bed sheets daily!
They weekly hold a foam party on the beach which was fun and was enjoyed by all ages from the kids to the grandmas! Really good! It is true that it’s a battle putting your towels down... You have to get them down early or there is no spaces round the pool!
Can’t wait to go back but as it’s gone up to a 5* hotel the prices have reflected this... Overall it was an excellent holiday!
