Aug 2007, Mr Kevin Byrne

This was our 1st family holiday away and was quite cautious at first, but after our first day we knew it was going to be an awesome holiday.
The scenery was out of this world mountain backdrops, which I paid £ 35 to jump of withy a tandem parachute brilliant. Also for the 1st time I felt really well off here, every night I came back with carrier bags full of goodies and the Turkish people were so nice cups of tea offered to you in every shop you entered.
And the blue lagoon was something else it was beautiful and really warm ,I got the best tan ever,. The food at this hotel was excellent different menu every night, you even got a free cocktail night say no more.
There’s loads to do as well boat rides tandem parachute jumps horse riding and much much more an absolute cracking place to visit.

Absolutely Brilliant! Everything you could wish for was here. I have been here in august 2002 and loved it so much we went back. It is suitable for families, couples, friends everybody. The staff were extremely helpful and would make sure you were in the best comfort.
The entertainment team kept everyone amused for hours. The shows at night were fantastic and well prepared. Loved Eddie and his humour, gorgeous Kenny keeping the teenagers entertained and who can forget the brilliant dancer Nelly. Loved you all!
The rooms were in top condition and were cleaned very fast. The location of the hotel couldn't get any closer for tourists. The beach literally outside your window and a shopping centre. One bus ride into Fethiye and you arrive in a market one mile long. The nightlife was brilliant and the locals were very friendly and helpful
The food could not get any better. There was bound to be something that you like. A wide range of dishes were available to suit everybody’s taste. The excursions were wonderful, visiting the tombs and the locals of Turkey.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to travel to a place worth travelling to. I went for 10 days and can't wait to go back again next year. Well worth the money.

Jul 2007, Miss S Hardwick

Well what can I say? I’ve just returned from 2 weeks at this lovely resort and will definitely be returning.
When you read the reviews before you go you always think it can’t be that good but really it is.
The hotel is spotless; the rooms are spotless and cleaned every day. The staff from the manager down to the cleaners are very polite and chatty.
The food is excellent there’s always something available, whether it be from the buffet or from the snack bar selling the most gorgeous cheeseburgers and pizza's and that kind of stuff.
The bar service is excellent, there’s no need to get up to go to the bar, there’s always bar staff walking around that are more than happy to get you a drink.
The pool area is great for kids because of the size of it. The entertainment team are the best for miles they will always try to get you involved but won’t make you. They are funny and always chat to you.
The entertainment team manager is superb at acting and will dress up as anything to make a fool of himself. The best show for me was the Michael Jackson show the guy who does him is excellent and you would think it was really him. His moon walk is brill.
The manager of the hotel Mehmet is a class act, he always remembers your name even if you haven’t told him he always seem to know it and when you walk past he's like hello Sarah or whatever your name is.
When we were there was so many many families that were returning families and had been numerous times before. You will thoroughly enjoy this hotel and resort and if you have the guts the paragliding is a must, the views are magnificent.
Also go see Ali G round the corner from the hotel and he will right your name on a grain of rice...honest a grain of rice.
The hotel was a quiet hotel but if you wanted noise then you could have it but there was always a quiet place you go and relax.
The sun is always out it reached 54 in the shade when we were there, so if it's sun you want then get yourself there, but I would book up now for next year as it really is that popular.
We made friends when we were there and they have tried to book for next year and couldn't get the dates they wanted because its booked up already.
You will always want to get involved with the entertainment because it’s that good. My dad was the stupid one so they always asked him to take part.
The hotel on whole is superb the staff, the food, the shows everything. I can promise you now that you will not be disappointed with this hotel and the reviews on here that say it was rubbish are not right because its absolutely brilliant.

Jun 2007, Nath182

I went here with my girlfriend for a week, had read all reviews before I went and it seemed like a great place and believe me they are not wrong.
It is a great hotel and having been to Olu Deniz two times previously the resort is nothing short of great either... the only thing is I don’t think it’s a place for a couple to go. It's more of a family orientated place.
The cleanliness of the place is probably the best thing about it all, not a spot wrong in the room everyday and the cleaners are the most friendly I’ve met on any of my holidays always smiling far from the usual stress witches you get in other places.
Also on the last day, which I believe has been commented on in previous reviews they left a nice floral display on our bed (my girlfriend loved it!).
The staff are very friendly, always willing to help and pretty much always interacting with the kids etc.
The food was better than any all inclusive I had stopped at before; they had a range of basic stuff like salad, bread, fruits. Then had a different range which changed every night including stuff like chips, kebabs, fried chicken and of course the more traditional Turkish meals I can’t spell ;) The A La Carte was brilliant!
The only minor grumble is I heard a rumour that drinks stop being all inclusive at 12 although not a problem for my gf and me, as we didn’t tend to binge drink whilst we were there... P.S although there are free drinks in the hotel id recommend the bean bags on the beach for a drink at night, it really is worth it, whether it’s just a drink or it’s a water pipe as well ;)
All in all a great holiday but Id only return there in a large group of family or friends.

Really didn't live up to expectations...

Jun 2007, linuxuser99

Really didn't live up to expectations at all well. The resort is very (very) expensive with prices on some of the excursions reaching £2.00 (British) for a coke to go with your dinner.
The resort is "all-inclusive (ish)" - but you don’t get a lot for your money. Beach access is extra (although the beach is lovely) and the attached restaurants charge a hefty premium over the only free food on offer - a distinctly ordinary buffet.
Shops / restaurants in the resort are all expensive (unless you buy the most obvious and garish fakes). E.g. Dinner for 3 (2 adults, 1 kid) was averaging £60 (British) if you include a bottle of very ordinary wine (bottles started at circa £9).
I definitely won’t be returning.

May 2007, Mrs A Hobson

Just arrived back home from 2 week's at this hotel, this is the best all inclusive hotel we've been to. I travelled with my hubby and my elderly parents.
The staff at the hotel made us feel very welcomed. The food was excellent, we usually get fed up of food at hotel and end up eating out a few nights, but food and choice was so good we only went out one night, and ended up regretting it.
The rooms are a good size with plenty of storage space.
As well as the pool area there is a garden area with plenty of sunbeds, comfy ones at that. Staff come around regularly and take orders for drinks, pure luxury.
I won’t hesitate recommending this hotel to my family and friends.

An amazing place. Hotel location is ideal for beach and walking.
Great to have choice of two pools...one quiet one and one for the more "sociable".
Good choice of food and plenty of it. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly.
Entertainment a little lacking in the evening. Going back in 2007.

Jan 2007, Miss H Joyce

This is the 3rd time I have been back to this hotel. I went the first time for a week in October 05 and had such a great time.
They had the para-gliding convention on and the beach parties were amazing. The hotel was so clean and the staff so friendly. Went back in July 06 for 2 weeks with several friends and again had a fantastic time.
There is so much to do in Olu Deniz. Went para-gliding, jet skiing, scuba diving, horse riding. Boat trips, quad biking - there is never a shortage of things to do.
The hotel entertainment after dinner was a little cheesy but really funny and the entertainment team were great. Steve, Ayr and metin were fantastic and were always very entertaining. We often went out for the evening with them to the local bar Crusoe’s and had a great time. Sunny also was fantastic...
The beach is directly outside the hotel, the local shop keepers are really friendly.
For a great night out take a dolmus (bus) or taxi in to Hisaronu which takes about 10-15 minutes and you can have your pick of night clubs.
Although we were a bit worried at first being 3 ladies on our own the locals were so friendly, a few of them gave us there cheesy chat up lines but would never hassle you to extremes.
Belcekiz beach hotel was in my opinion the best in the area, the hotel was clean and the staff was so friendly. The food was also excellent quality.
Definitely planning to go back in July 07 and once again have an amazing time.
Would definitely recommend, a few friends and family have gone here on my recommendation and have had an amazing time.

Oct 2006, Mrs K Taylor

We are fortunate enough to have 2 holidays abroad a year and have never felt the need to return to the same hotel twice as there are just so many to choose from, however, we would definitely consider returning to Belcekiz Beach.
Every single member of staff seems to be only concerned with making your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. The maids are courteous, the reception are helpful, the bar staff remember your drink and supply it without being asked to, the waiters and chefs are attentive (without being overbearing) and the entertainment staff are absolutely stark raving mad! You are aware of Memet and the rest of the management staff but they oversee without being obvious. All the staff genuinely seem happy. I can honestly say that of all the hotels I have ever been to these staff were the very best and they played a large part to the success and enjoyment of our holiday.
The food in the buffet is good with sufficient choice, the snack bar seemed to be popular with all, particularly children and some of the more senior clients and the ice-cream between 3-4 each day was fantastic.
The rooms are spotlessly clean with all facilities in them being of the highest standard although if I return I think I might request a room that doesn't overlook the plaza at the reception as some people seem to be very early risers and their voices echo around the enclosed area.
I particularly liked the fact that there is an 'official' photographer who took your photo and displayed it for sale the next day. Travelling as a couple we always end up with photos of each other but rarely get a decent one of us together so this enabled us to get a memento which didn’t have half a head cut off!
Olu Deniz is actually smaller than I imagined but it was spotless and the shop/stall owners were very laid back (not hassling you to buy like in some areas of Turkey). We've always found the Turkish people in general to be very nice and friendly but people in this small resort seemed to be even more so. In fact the shopping expeditions tended to take twice as long because you always ended up in conversation with the shop owner and ended up having apple tea etc.
The Blue Lagoon is well worth a trip to as it is very beautiful and so peaceful. The small entrance fee is well worth it. In general the scenery around this resort is pretty spectacular with the dramatic mountains and the long beach.
To round off, we spoke to many couples and families and they had all either been before or were intending to come again. What more of a recommendation can you get. We did not feel the need to consult the Portland rep for anything as the staff were more than able to answer any questions we had regarding the resort or excursions and we will definately consider returning.

Oct 2006, Miss C Elliott

My first holiday abroad, and definitely makes me want to go abroad again! Especially to this hotel. The people were so nice, always caring and asking if you’re ok. Accommodation was excellent, clean sheets and tidy rooms every day.
The hotel was spotless, and made you feel really at home. Plenty of activities including Darts, Water Polo, Bowls, Water Gym and Table Tennis. A great selection of food, with a large variety of everything. Service was brilliant, waiters and waitresses always on hand if anything is needed.
There is a show on every night, and a kids disco earlier on. Later on a disco for older people, and don’t forget the all important club dance! Fantastic holiday and will definitely be returning soon.

Oct 2006, Mrs CM Fielding

We have just returned home from our very first trip to Turkey and are so thankful that we chose this incredible hotel.
Everything that has already been written on this website is very true. I can only reinforce every word that has been said. The place, Olu Deniz is in itself wonderful. We have travelled widely all over the West Indies, Bahamas and other Caribbean places and to find this hotel so much nearer home is an added bonus. The staff are highly trained and put the guest's needs first and foremost. A pat on the back should go to whoever is in charge of their training.
We are already planning our next trip there in 2007 and intend to take our extended family as we are so sure that they will have as great a time as we did.

Sep 2006, Mr S Trowsdale

I am not going to write a rave review for this hotel because so many others have done so before me. The best advice I can give to anyone looking to go to the Belcekiz Beach Hotel is GO THERE. The place, people and service are excellent and I have already booked for next year.
