Babadan Apartments

Our family of 6, returned yesterday from Icmeler. We have been the last 5 years and stayed at the Babadan for 4 of them, once again we have returned with only good things to say about the place.
This year the restaurant 'What’s Cooking' has been increased in size and the onsite shop moved to next to the pool. This year they have chicken and lamb tortilla wraps to dine on from 12pm at only £1 each, but beware they sell out very quickly and did so every day we were there. Plenty of sunbeds for all by the two pools.
Babadan has very attentive staff and nothing seems to be too much trouble, and this year more evening entertainment was provided.
All in all can’t say too much about the place.
Only downsides I can think of are rooms are basic but spotless, and top floor rooms have sloping ceilings where you may bang your head after too many Efes.

Visited with my family including 2 grandsons aged 5 and 10. Ground floor apartment by pool as requested and next door to each other. Apartments basic but spotless.
Everyone friendly. Couldn’t fault anything. Boys didn't want to leave the pool unless it was to go to the 'Romance Palace'. Great night there.
Food, entertainment brilliant. Again staff lovely especially Rami who our youngest adores. Good food also in the 'Titanic'. Oscar really looks after you.
Try the slow roasted lamb it is delicious. I think we will be going back next year and hopefully take our other daughter and family with us.

I absolutely loved Turkey, Icmeler is beautiful! We went to a great resort and the Babadan apartments just topped it off! The apartments were very well looked after, they were clean and modern.
The staff were very friendly and fun! We loved Icmeler and the Babadan apartments so much we went back there a second time and were just as happy!
We will defiantly be going again as we know we will have another amazing, enjoyable time!
I would defiantly recommended Babadan apartments to anybody it is a great place for everyone especially families with children as there is great facilities for them such as the children’s pool, and kids club.
It is located in a great place, you have a wonderful view of the mountains, you have lots of great choices of restaurants and shops and it is only a couple of minuets away from the beach! A fantastic place to go!

What a lovely holiday we had in the Babadan apartment’s. Room was lovely, we were up on the third floor no noise. All facilities in the kitchen area, bedding and towels clean, hot water all the time. The maids are so friendly, apartments cleaned 4 or 5 times a week. Staff in the bar etc go out of their way to do anything for you food was lovely. Pools big, and clean children’s pool also, people are also friendly like going home from home. Beach within walking distance waiter service on some parts that was lovely don’t forget to give the waiters a tip they work hard and don’t get a lot of money lovely friendly people the places are clean kitchens are like a pin spotless. Another thing, the Turkish are good at is dancing after food in most places they dance till they drop, hard working people work long hours always smiling. Food cheap plenty of it and taste lovely go to captain bull*****, dream most places have good food. Plenty of shops to buy prezzies watch the weight of your case only allowed 20kilos charge £6 for every kilo over. Don’t forget the dolmus just down the road will take you in to marmaris for 1lira 75 each we went in may this year this is our 2nd time and will go back also watch were you change your money some will say it’s a certain rate you go somewhere else and you can get more also be careful that there is no commission. They also like the British ten pound note. Another thing don’t forget your ten pound in your passport to get into the country.

The Romance Palace is the best place to visit for a night out, for food and atmosphere.
The staff are very accommodating, look after you well. Good shows and entertainment, corner for children with a Playstation and an X Box for use.
You must visit Onder on the beach opposite the L`Etoile. It is the cleanest part of the beach and you will be looked after very well, if you go also say hi to cheeky bugger (you can`t miss him).
The supermarket across from the Romance Palace is well stocked, well priced, and very friendly.

The apartments are very well suited for the children with 2 pools and a kids club. The maid service was outstanding with the rooms cleaned daily and a change of towels every 2 days. The pool bar boys are very friendly and will do anything for you to ensure you have a good stay.
Only one small thing to say about the apartments, while we were there they had just set up and started to run a card system to enable you to buy drinks and food, the system had some teething problems which was inconvenient.
Well recommended and we will go back.

I know a 10 sounds a bit over the top, but I really couldn't fault the Babadan Apartments in any way at all.
They are ideally situated between the new and old parts of Icmeler. Near enough to walk to either, but quiet if you want to get away from it for a while.
All the facilities at the site were excellent, and if you need something that the shop doesn't supply there is a mini-market across the road, and a bigger supermarket a few minutes’ walk away - use the back road if you want to avoid the inevitable invitations from bar/restaurant owners! Linda drooled over the green grocers :-)
Our apartment was kept impeccably clean, as was the entire site during the time we were there. The staff were friendly without being too pushy.

I would strongly recommend any one visiting Icmeler.
This year is our 3 year and we will keep returning. We have stayed at Pinewood apartments, and this year Babadan will be our second time.
The resort speaks for its self.
The apartments are very well equipped and always very clean, the staff are most welcoming.
After a long journey they are always there to greet you and make you welcome, they even take your bags to your room, the shop and bar is open all-night which is very handy.
Overall we would rate Babadan 20 out of 10. You must see for yourself.

This place is really nice lovely and clean. Very close to the resort, has two lovely pools poolside bar and coffee shop. Not far to walk to a very nice beach. Local people are very nice too.
This place caters very well for children too rooms nice and clean nice kitchenette in the rooms so you can cook breakfast but in turkey it is so cheap you may as well eat out and enjoy the break.
Shop keepers have so much time for you even if you don’t purchase. I would recommend this place to all.

Just got back from the Babadan Apartments and decided it was only fair that I write a review. We arrived at 2 in the morning. We were greeted very well and our bags were carried up to the room. With out the all hour shop on the grounds we wouldn't have eaten in 14 hours. Every staff member was extremely polite and very helpful.
The apartment overall was very clean and was cleaned regularly, the view from the balcony was great. The apartments are equipped with air-conditioning but with a small extra cost. They have all you will need to self-cater such as hotplates, microwave, sink, toaster and fridge-freezer.
I have fallen in love with the surrounding location and would love to own a holiday home out there. We found the Romance Palace was absolutely fantastic-the food-the entertainment-the service-and the people, some of which I keep in touch with. I have found no reason to go somewhere else next year. Compared to the Turkish people, a lot of the English are miserable, with some exceptions of course.
It is the best holiday I have ever been on. 20 out of 10.

We have been to Icmeler three times now and hope to be going back a fourth, the Babadan Apts are the best we have been to, the staff (Bekir, Nafiz, Mustafa and Fuat etc... are all fantastic they really made the holiday special.
The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities you need, there are two large pools and a child’s pool, everything at the Babadan is kept so clean with maid service two or three times a week.
The apartments are set back from the main road with only a short walking distance to all restaurants and cafes, and of course the beach. Everyone in Icmeler are so friendly and with great weather too what more can you ask for. See you next year, can't wait.
