We stayed here for two weeks in July and had a fantastic time. The staff are great fun and always have time for you.
The room was a good size and always well maintained by the staff. Clean towels every three days and beds made daily.
Siesta is located a short walk from bar street, meaning that you can get a good nights sleep when you need it, if you have any trips with early pick ups. There is a taxi rank just up from the hotel which will provide a taxi to just about anywhere you could want to go. This is also a pick up point for the excursions.
Loved everything about this accommodation and we have already booked to go back next year.

We had a fantastic holiday at the Siesta. From the minute we stepped off the coach the hotel staff were there to help us...carrying our bags to the apartment and even showing us around at 4am in the morning!
There was 4 of us staying at the siesta, we had rooms 122 and 123, which were amazing! The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped for self catering. Our apartments had a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with x2 sofa beds and an outside balcony with table and chairs.
The pool is great, with plenty of sunbeds which we didn't have to fight for! The top bar staff were excellent, very entertaining and friendly - especially Akon and Ozzy!
The location of the hotel is great, it’s on the beach and about a 10 min walk into gumbet itself. There is a taxi rank practically opposite the hotel which will take you into gumbet itself for around 4 lira (£1.60).
Gumbet is packed with gorgeous restaurants where you can get a 3 course meal for around £8 and most places give you a free bottle of wine with your meal! There are plenty of bars in the main strip, would recommend central, X bar and Tropicana, all are fantastic and you can haggle the price of drinks! We managed to get fish bowls which were 95% vodka, gin and brandy for £12!
There are plenty of water sports on the beach, the water park in Dalaman is also worth a visit...you can get a free dolmus form the red dragon Chinese in Gumbet to the park!
Overall a brilliant holiday, we can’t wait to go back to the Siesta next year!

For all the youngsters out there, or the young hearted, this is certainly a must try place!
The transfer time from the airport wasn’t long after arriving early hours of the morning which is always a bonus. After checking in at the small but friendly reception we were advise we could still obtain a drink from the bar, we refrained and made our way to the room.
The room was decent size apartment, with all facilities, but quite basic. After small sleep we ventured around.
We were located on the top area, the pool was quite nice with sun beds and shades and "the top bar" which was the start of all our evenings out. All the staff were friendly, thanks to ozzy, akon, JJ, joseph and ahmet, they join in and nothing is too much trouble.
The complex has a second bar "the bottom bar" with pool and restaurant and this leads to the beach and the 6 minute trek to the famous "bar street”. On the way there are a selection of restaurants and bars, all have entertainment such as Turkish night, Belly Dancers Etc.
Bar Street also has a selection of shops, but I would leave your shopping till Tuesdays and haggle down at Bodrum market !! It is fun, and a taxi from Gumbet is cheap.
There is so much to do here and such great weather, this is a must! I am returning real soon!

I went away with my two mates and we had an awesome holiday that will never be forgotten! Its one week after we have arrived home and I have only just recovered as we only slept around 2 to 3 hours a night!
I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone as everything is there you could ask for, although I would say if you are expecting a taste of the Turkish culture and are not up for partying to look elsewhere than Gumbet.
We stayed at the top pool all week, and of an evening would go to Shakers and Xbar; we made so many new mates over there and overall had such a laugh with the Turks and the tourists.
I am currently booking up to go back with my friend next month because we did not want to come home and the flights and Siesta are reasonably priced so its perfect for us students!
If you are going there soon you will not be disappointed, trust me!

Just arrived back from the Siesta and all desperate to go back. With a family of various ages ranging from 7-38 years old what more can i say apart from this place caters for any age.
Apartments were fantastic, extremely hot with temperatures up to 53 degrees, hottest in turkey in 50years! Food was great! People were the nicest people we have met when going on holiday before. Wanted to mention a few names, big up to Ozzie, Joseph, Acon, JJ (the one with the nice bum, so my niece says.) We went on a great bar crawl with the staff, took my 14 year old son which was an experience. All the kids met some really nice people.
We wanted to give a big shout out to Moses at Calypso and Crazy Joe who made us feel really welcome every time we went down for a drink(especially my niece Holly). Really sad to be home, have captured some great memories on video camera and hoping to go back in August!! Beautiful sunset from the top bar, fantastic entertainment, boyfriend especially enjoyed the delightful belly dance who seemed to quite like him to (partners beware!!!) what more can i say apart from book your tickets now!
From the Greenland, McKenzies, Brooks and the Kingstons.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the Siesta at about midnight, people at reception so friendly and were genuinely concerned over the delays that were happening in the Uk because of the Glasgow problems.
We had the studio room which is right by the pool and hence the bar. I would recommend to bring ear plugs because it is noisy however I did get use to it. The room was really tidy, cleaners are great (one day they covered our bed in flower petals and put our towels in a shape of a heart with a note hoping we had a good time). Bathroom however does smell really bad it never left! We got air conditioning (took a day to figure out how it worked!) but that makes you sleep so much better.
Gumbet as a place is really nice! A walk along the beach front is perfect and you can find some really good deals for meals, with free wine or garlic bread. Cesars is great, free pool table and free sun loungers and use of their beach. It took us 3 days to discover Bar Street which was a shame cos there is so many more shops and restaurants there. We would highly recommend the Red Dragon, its got the best food!
We also did the boat ship organised by first choice which was amazing and totally worth the money - free drinks all day, a superb lunch and a camel ride!! would definitely go back however may try the Jasmine next door, that looked a really nice place as well.

Clean rooms every day. Good food. Reasonable cost of drinks and food.

We done a late booking to Turkey with great apprehension.
When we arrived evening time we were pleased with our first impression. We were allocated a ground floor apartment down behind the reception. The walkways to the apartments were lovely, supported walkways and flowers.
Apartment was great very modern brilliant aircon (paid locally).
We went to what we now know as the bottom bar hosted by the wonderful Brave! Along with ourselves there were two other couples and the 3 barman and the music at levels so high you could not hear yourself order a drink. We laughed at the fact the barman seem to be the ones on holiday - all dressed like they were out the pull medallions and all.
Next morning went to top pool, bar much more sedate and relaxing, but we decided that pool was cleaner down at the bottom bar. Unfortunately the music still had not been turned down from the night before and now the bar Tropicana next door was competing. Such a shame that these apartments were run by frustrated DJ's.
Resort nice, food was good in all restaurants we ate in. Not going back due the people who stand outside restaurants to harass you.
Please watch your teenage daughters. This was our first holiday away without ours, we were so pleased as the national sport seems to be seeing how drunk we can get the English teenagers.
Would visit these apartments if the music was controlled at least during the day.
I'm sure those of you aged between 18 - 25 will love it there - others with teenagers will love it there as they will be off hand (and their faces).
I would like to end this with I really am not a boring old sandal wearing fart that only enjoys sightseeing, I love a great relaxing, sunbathing fun, safe holiday.

Arrived very early in the morning.
Rooms very adequate and very clean, but a little dark. Bedding and towels changed every day and cleaners were very friendly.
It's a short walk into the centre, but expect to get severely hassled to go into anything from a hairdressers to clothes shops restaurants etc.
Staff at the top bar were great! Had a really good laugh with them all. It was my birthday while we were there and I was given a cake (my partner paid for it!), but they made it a good night.
Turkish night was good and the boat trip arranged through the hotel was the highlight of our trip.
There was a range of ages from 12 - 45 and we all had a ball.
Would highly recommend it!

It was my third time to Turkey, after staying at Cesme and Marmaris, staying at the Siesta Beach Apartments was the best ever!
What an amazing time!
Me and my friend Caroline went out alone for a girly week, staying at Siesta was brilliant the room 422 which we had was really nice and clean. We had maid service every day and clean towels.
The weather was fabulous and we got a good tan.
All the staff at top Siesta were ace, they were all really friendly and went out of there way to make sure that your holiday was the best ever. We have already booked to go out in July to see Chez, Billy, Joesph, JJ, Ozzy and Akon and especially the lovely Ata.
We went on the boat trip with Siesta and had the best day ever it was really great the views and stopping at Camel beach was really nice. Captain made a lovely lunch as well!
We did one excursion to Pamukkale, that was a lovely day out the only down side was having to get up at 6am in the morning, after getting in at 4am. I would advise anyone to do this as it was well worth the journey.
On an evening after sunbathing all day we would go into Gumbet for something to eat and would go to Molly Malones, Mario, Dragon, Hasna and Kasha were brilliant. We danced the night away with them!
I would definitely recommend the Siesta Beach to anyone of all ages; it’s the place to be. You would never find people as nice as these!

We have stayed at Siesta three times on our three holidays to Turkey and have never had one serious complaint. When we arrived at Siesta it was quite late; we went to reception, checked in and went to our room. it took about one minute walk to get from reception to our room. From our room you could barely hear the music so we got a peaceful nights sleep.
The next morning we went to the bottom bar pool. All the staff are friendly and knew fluent english. The walk to the beach is no longer then a 30 second walk from the pool and bar. During the day the atmosphere is relaxing, calming and still fun. At night time the mood changes slightly; early evening the restaurant is serving dinner, tables candle lit and a relaxing mood. If you want a cosy night in your apartment the restaurant does takeaway (anything off the menu), all you have to do is collect and pay. The food is great value for money, it is not overly expensive.
The evening entertainment starts and it is suitable and enjoyable for all ages from breakdancers to traditional Turkish night. Later on the music is loud, modern, fun and everybody is dancing on the bar (including the staff). The bar is open all night and all day. Breakfast and lunch is also served and the menu has a wide range of options from Turkish menus to traditional British.
The beach is lovely, you do have to pay for sunbeds but they are not expensive and you have them for all day until night. The boat trip was well and truly one of the trips worth going on. The boat takes you to different places and you can sunbathe on the boat, jump in the water, go snorkelling, they take you to camel beach where you can swim in the clear water, sand, and also ride camels. Lunch is included in the price and considering they cook for a large amount of people on a boat the food is lovely. Drinks are free from lemonade to wine.
The rooms are adequate, slightly dark. You do have to pay for air conditioning, the sheets and rubbish are clean and replaced everyday. The beds are comfortable and you are supplied with one pillow.
Reception staff are friendly and accept travellers cheques and will cash them for you. Lockers are available but you pay a small price to keep your money, tickets and passports safe. The shop sells everything you need but there is a bigger store called Gima and it is about a five minute drive in a taxi and will cost no more than ten lira.
The worst thing about Siesta Beach apartments is having to leave at the end of your
Holiday.
