Siesta Beach Apartments

first went to siesta beach apts in aug 06 with a party of 19 people aged from 6 to 70. had a brill time apartments were great pool was great and evening entertainment was brill.
all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
so good in fact that my husband and i are returning in 2 days time and so looking forward to seeing the place again.

First holiday with the boyfriend and had a lovely time. The pool and the bar at the Siesta was lovely and couldn't have asked for better weather. We went on a boat trip twice which we booked with the hotel reception, I used to be a holiday rep so was weary of doing this but it was well worth it, about 10 people had the whole boat to our selves and we all had fantastic days, hense the reason we went twice.
Not sure if I would go back to Turkey as I didn't really like the area outside the hotel whenever you walked down the street you just had people trying to pull you in shops etc and it irritated me.
We would have preferred a room nearer the top of the hotel but what we had was addequate for what we paid for the holiday, Generally for what we paid a great holiday!!

It's such a friendly environment 2 be in! The top bar was the best-many good nights there!!
The bar staff were so fun. Best holiday I’ve been on! Did not want to leave!!
Rooms were always cleaned everyday and the food at the top restaurant was very nice. Good place to relax and unwind but at the same time have a laugh! AMAZING!

The resort itself comes highly recommended. I had never been to Turkey before and was advised by the rep at Thomson to go as she goes here every year and that it is cheaper than Spain.
The apartments were clean, bright, well decorated. The flora about the apartments is lovely too.
The sheets/towels are changed every other day.
The apartment offers various pools and poolside drinks the staff are really genuinely friendly and will go out of their way to welcome you.
My party ended up eating st the poolside here as the food was very very good.

Have been 7 times now to these apartments, Mustafa and Totti on bottom bar are brill and will advise you where to go and where not to go, top bar Ata and Chaz keep you entertained until the bar closes (6.30am at times). The guys even charter a boat so that only people from Siesta can go on, leaves 10am gets back 7.30pm and includes meal all for £10 per adult.
Good places for meals Zetas, Columbia, Windybay and Red Dragon. The waterpark in Bodrum is good fun but the buses don't pick you up till 4.30pm if you want to leave early it costs 18lira for a taxi, get earplugs to stop ear infections as a few people had to get the doctor in at a cost £40 after being at waterpark.
Bodrum market on a Thursday is undercover and stinks of bo, go to Turgatrez market on a Saturday which is outside. The Windmill bar is probably the worst bar for food, bar street is just mad after 1am. Smilleys bar is a good place for families, if you go on any trips they will probably take you to the gold centre for 1hr trying to get you to buy don't ask any questions if you don't intend to buy as they put a lot off pressure on you to buy.
Back to Siesta, one word brilliant.

First time in Turkey. Last minute holiday in the sun was what we wanted and we got it.
We changed rooms after the first night and ended up with the room above the shop at the top pool, the view from the balcony was fantastic.
The food, staff, cleanliness and location made Siesta Beach a must for us to return to next year.
We had a fab time and recommend it.

My sister and I were staying at the Siesta Beach Apartments for 1 week at end Aug. I had previously stayed in the apartments 7 years ago and thought they were great along with the staff. This time round even better!
Top bar staff are lovely guys and really made us welcome. We had a bottom floor room near the bottom pool and the space in the room was great, everything clean and tidy. I loved everything about this hotel, the people, atmosphere, music and food.
You literally cross the road and you are on the beach, taxi rank couple of yards from hotel and bars and restaurants short distance away. We arrived on the Monday and went on a Mytravel bar crawl the second night, to be honest I wasn't too keen on going but our rep said we'd have a great night and it would let us get to know Bar Street so we agreed. (at £1 with some free shots and free t-shirt who could say no). It was the best thing I could have done on this holiday as we went to the second bar Mystery at top of bar street. This bar is excellent for dancing and cocktails, we went back every night after that and the staff there really know how to make your holiday.
Other bars which are a must are Shakers and Beach club! Restaurants are Windymill and most of the chinese restaurants are fab. I spent over £500 for 1 week without going on too many trips or buying hardly anything at all, just don't know where my money went to so would recommend if you are going to Gumbet make sure you have plenty of cash as prices have gone up over the years.
I am currently looking for a good deal for these apartments next year as I just can't wait to go back and spend another amazing holiday in Gumbet!

I went to Siesta for the 3rd time this year to celebrate my birthday and I have to say it was the best ever. All the staff are so good and friendly.
Cannot wait to go back next year.
The rooms are always cleaned spotless and nothing is too much trouble. The best place ever also. The restaurant is great too.

I have been back home from my holiday at Siesta Beach apartments for a week now, and I wish I was still there.
I had a fantastic time. The apartment was lovely, great pool. Just the right weather at this time of year - hot but not ridiculous.
The food in Gumbet is nice and there are lots of restaurants to visit, most of which have some sort of meal deal like a free bottle of wine with a main meal. There are loads of bars to choose from, whether you want cocktails or dancing.
The topbar at Siesta Beach was brilliant. A great place to go back to after your night out as it stays open until you want it to basically!

We really do love Turkey, but stopping at the Siesta Beach apartments made it even better! When we got there they all made us so welcome and if we were not happy with the rooms then they would move us straight away.
The people at the Dolphin Bar (which is a bar by the reception) are lovely, they are so funny and a few of the best people we know!
I can’t wait to get back there!
We are going back next year and this year were taking even more people with us to show them how good it is.
