Me and my partner have stated in this hotel 5 times and going back in may this year 2011,and can not wait, the staff, from the cleaning ladies to the reception staff are so helpfull, and nothing is a bother to any of them,it is so central, the place is spotless,we go half board, but you can take lunch or diner,on this basis, the staff have not changed much in all the times we have been.

We went to this hotel for its last week before closing for the winter months. I cant believe some people don't like it there!!!!!!!!! Its a fantastic hotel. The rooms were kept spotless, good air conditioning which wasn't switched off early because of the time of year like some tight hotels do! Any little jobs that needed doing was sorted asap. We were half board and the food was varied and delicious, both breakfast and dinner. I had omelettes done in front of me every morning and never tasted omelettes like it! The staff are very very friendly and the hotel is right on the beach. What more could you ask for? We've stayed in 5 star hotels that were'nt as good as this one. The weather was wonderful for the end of October. I swam in the sea every day we were there. We found Cyprus cheap and great for shopping or hiring cars. The boat trip was great to. One thing I would like to point out is we booked with Packyourbags.com and flew with Thompson who were absolutly brilliant!! My sister was a nervous wreck flying but they put her at her ease and nothing was too much trouble. Would DEFINETLY go back to this hotel again.
There's always someone you cant please, but don't listen to them because this hotel is really great.

Just back from a one week stay at the Iliada hotel and would not recommend it. food was average and consisted of the same food every day, we had chips in the evening and chips for breakfast. We found that the drinks were watered down quite a lot. The sunbeds around the pool are not four star standard they were very uncomfortable and quite a few of them were broken. at the weekends the hotel is over run with locals who consist of young people taking up all the sunbeds at the pool and sitting at the tables playing cards. Quests at the hotel found it hard to get to the bar as there were swarms of locals sitting at the bar and you could wait up to half an hour to get a drink, as we were all inclusive we found this very annoying. The room was clean but basic and they do not have satalite tv as advertised in the sites, one channel with world news and the rest are local channels.Beware of the extras we were all inclusive but we had to pay 2 euro a day for the use of a fridge, the hotel has meant to have its own private part of the beach but you are charged 7.50 euro a day for two sunbeds. We have stayed in better 3 star hotels would not recommend it and will not be returning.

Excellent beach location, upgraded from a side to full sea view. The food was fine; if you go half board you can have a hotel lunch instead of dinner and get out and visit the local tavernas. The beach was good - water sports, diving and boat trips. The hotel was clean and staff polite. Only shame was the gym and steam room - they were closed. Great place, if like us, you love the sea.

This hotel was excellent value for money. Staff very helpful and hotel immaculately clean. Excellent location, central to all nightlife and restaurants, situated on the beach giving a choice of the hotel swimming pool or the sea.
A fantastic hotel, worth visiting year after year. If you enjoy tennis then take your own equipment and enjoy unlimited use of facilities, a real plus!
I have visited Cyprus over the last ten years and this is the most enjoyable stay I have had, try it.

This was our third visit to this hotel and resort and can only praise the staff and hotel for its warm welcome.
The hotel is set on the beach and has a lovely clean beach and the sea is so warm. I can highly recommend this hotel and resort.
In fact, I only wish I would be going back to stay again but instead have decided to move to Cyprus to live and have been told to go and visit the staff when I arrive there in the next couple of months. What more can I say.

Great hotel with great location, clean and well looked after rooms. When I arrived I was up-graded to a sea view room which had great views. Only down fall which didn’t bother us that much was you had to get up before 8.30 am to get a sun-bed around the pool- and the other guests there were not German!
All in all great hotel worth the money and the resort was fab too.

On returning for a second year to this friendly hotel, I was slightly disappointed to find that certain aspects had been allowed to slip. There seemed to be more of an influx of Cypriots albeit it was their weeks bank holiday (14th - 20th) and did they let us know. They were rude, aggressive to the British children disrespectful to the hotel staff and the hotel itself. After they left it was bliss and normality returned.
The rooms are in need of an update but are kept clean with maid service daily. The food is hit & miss but the staff more than make up for this as its very hard to please everyone but they do their very best. The entertainment is much the same, with one show worth watching - the Magic Show as the magician can get quite upset when he finds his greatest trick has been found out :). Nick Felgate is probably the best singer they have and I must say he is excellent.
The central location of this hotel is prime on the beach and with the XS water sports at the foot, its all what you require without having to go far.
Overall, I will return again but probably not when their bank holiday takes place.

Iliada Beach Hotel is very central and in a prime location. The rooms are a good size and are cleaned on a daily basis. The staff are really friendly and were efficient when our air conditioning started to leak at 4.30am in the morning and woke us up.
They had fixed it by the time we returned to our room. I would recommend this hotel but the breakfast and evening meals I would rate as a 3* rather the 4*. The evening meals were much the same so we ate out for the second week we were there as there are some lovely restaurants. I went on holiday to Protaras with my fiancé and we thought that it is much more for families as there are lots of playgrounds and bars that focus more on young children.
Get the bus to Ayia Napa for 80p just 10 minutes away if you want some excitement. Overall a good holiday.

Excellent hotel with all the facilities one could want. Really good for families right on the beach, rooms functional with lots of storage space in room, food excellent although breakfast area a bit small if hotel fully booked. Kid friendly staff. Booked as soon as we returned for October 2006.
Choice in dinning room in evening excellent even a separate kids menu at all times in dinning room. Town centre position allows for good shopping chances only one negative was that the swimming pool was very cold but was told by various people this is the normal for Cyprus.
Would recommend this hotel to couples and families of all ages.
