Maria Rousse is by far the best hotel in Malia. We couldn’t fault the rooms, they are very clean and look brand new. Cleaned every other day, and the bathroom doesn’t need a shower curtain because it is a wet room!

Just come back from ana excellent holiday yet again in Malia. The apartments are extremely clean and tidy. On arrival there is a list of rules of do's and don’ts which appear a little OTT.

Just got back from Malia Sunday night the 14th Aug, was brill!!! The apartments at the Maria Rousse were lovely, shame beach was up the other end of the strip so seemed to stay by the pool, but the beach is gorgeous to, so you have to go.! read more

Maria Rousse Hotel itself is very good - rooms are clean and cleaned regularly, good pool and helpful staff.

Luckily it is also near the Old Town, which is very pretty and authentic with some very good Greek restaurants.
