We stayed for two weeks in June 05 and were made very welcome at the Meltemi village. Our 8 Year old daughter loved the pool and we the sunbeds. Everything we needed was on the doorstep, but there was no noise at night.
We loved going in the Good News Bar and Dorians at night for a drink, they were so friendly.
The place for waffles and crepes was Fantasia, absolutely mouthwatering, and we always got extras to what we ordered. Charlinas on the beach and The Veggera restaurant where the best, but there was also lots of good gyros takeaways for a cheap tea.
We are going back this year even though we said we'd never visit anywhere twice. It is such a beautiful island and everyone is so friendly, the best we've been to yet.

Stayed 5 nights in June 2005. Chose it as best reasonably priced hotel after walking around the town looking at several.
Excellent hotel, very spacious room, floors and fittings all marble. Very clean. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Highlights were beautiful swimming pool, and sunbed area and wonderful buffet breakfasts.
Many restaurants nearby, beach 5 minutes walk, bus stop and supermarkets just outside.
Highly recommend.

In 30 years of foreign holidays this is without doubt the worst room(s) we've ever booked!
The decor is 10 years behind schedule for redecorating, the beds are a 'tired old mattress' on a CONCRETE base, the shower dribbled (at best) & needed two people (one to hold it while the other showered) because the wall mount was broken.
Fortunately the staff were nice, as was the resort otherwise I'd have been home long before my fortnight was up!
Don't be worried about the resort, it is nice BUT avoid this place at all costs!!!
