Just returned from another great holiday at the Teresa Appointments, this being our fourth trip. Have tried both Self Catering and B&B and both have great rooms although the Self Catering rooms have the best views of the fantastic sunsets that make up this holiday as one that you just want to repeat every year.
San Stefanos offers some great places to eat such as the Beachcoomber, Ozzy Oil, Sunset Taverna, Zorbas and the Nafski Hotel to name but a few. Would also recommend the new BAR 38 opposite Zorbas as a great place to have a drink and relax we went every evening.
If you like walking then this resort is a great base to start from, recommend walking to both Arilla and Agois Geogoris but its always great to return to San Stefanos that offers the best beach in the entire area.

Stayed in August 2009. Lovely view from apartments, very good service, lovely family.
Stayed in top floor apartment - good view however no balcony and very small windows, very little light in the apartment, which they don't tell you. Insects crawling around in cupboards in kitchen in which we had to buy own insect killer and clear it out. Considering we were self catering the kitchen area was very unclean. Bathroom ok, shower curtain not brilliant and bathroom ends up becoming soaked when taking a shower.

The beach.
One of the better beaches in Corfu, all sand which shelves so gently you can almost walk to Albania before it reaches head height. Sun beds were 3 Euro each with a brolly costing you another one.
The Havana Bar is a nice place to sit and have some lunch or a cold drink if you need to get out of the sun at one end of the beach, with a couple of restaurants at the other end depending on where you sit.
Avoid the guy who wanders up and down with doughnuts and fruit as he is expensive and the fruit is not always the freshest!
The resort.
Not a place for the lively, although there are more than enough restaurants and bars to fill up two weeks. Everywhere we ate was fine, and reasonable in price as well, with them all doing a set menu for less than 10 Euros if you are on a tight budget.
There is a lovely bakery if you want something to take to the beach for your lunch, or if you want to pick up some freshly baked rolls.
The best meals we found were at Zorbas (although the dancing could get on your nerves after a while) and Mistral which is on the beach. Mistral portions appear to be larger than most (if you are the hungry type) and with the restaurant being right on the beach the sunsets are wonderful.
I would suggest taking some sort of Mosquito repellent, although all of the supermarkets (of which there are plenty) stock it. You will find it a bit dearer than at home though (likewise with the sun tan lotion).
If you want peace, quiet and a good relaxing holiday then San Stefanos is certainly the place to go. The only possible downside is that there is only the one cash point (at the Thomas Bay Hotel) which does tend to break down a lot. Be mindful of that if you are looking to get money out on your card as the alternative is heading to the next village which is a fairly long walk!!

just returned from holiday at terresa apartments with my family after celebrating my brothers 40th birthday there, and it was fantastic, from arriving to leaving we were made to feel completely at home, there was a real personal touch to the whole holiday and i wouldnt hesitate to go back there and feel that i would be remembered if i did! a family run hotel with a family feel, there all great. the room was clean and welcoming as was the pool and bar area. the beach was a few minutes walk away as was the town which although it wasnt massive we found that there were enough shops and restarants to choose from (i recomend "aussie oil" restarant for a treat, it was superb)! get yourself there, its great!!

another fantastic holiday.this time we both stayed at the bed/breakfast apts.they really are top class.the room is very large and the bathroom and shower are to die for.there is a fridge and kettle to make tea/coffee.the room is cleaned almost every day and the views are very good and also the rooms are much quieter than the self catering apts.
the friendlyness of the owners is just fantastic, they all make you feel so very welcome and the food is very good.there are many great places to eat in the village ,the better ones are down near the beach, and the fish is a must.we also found it much cheaper in greece than spain and many other european countries.this is a great place to unwind in a stress free resort.i beg you to differ. well done corfu.

Having read the good reviews I had no hesitation in booking these apartments. I have to say the comments regarding the sunset were so true. The apartments themselves were basic and reasonably clean. The cleaner did come in but she only emptied the bins. Linen was changed once a week. It was clean but very worn as were the bed covers and towels. Towel change only once a week which was a disappointment. We don't cook on holiday but if you did need to cook I wouldnt have wanted to use the oven which was rusty. The shower was typical greek style with just a curtain around a shower tray but at least there was a mop outside the apartment to stop us slipping on the wet floor. The shower head could do with a bracket on the wall. The meals were very good and we ate at the Teresa on two nights. The Greek Night was fun and the food very good even though I had ordered fish (I don't eat meat) they had forgotten to do this so the other people in our party had eaten theirs before I got mine. We also had fun at the quiz night.
San Stefanos is a lovely place and I would certainly go back again. We met some lovely local people and had some lovely meals. A special mention to the Olive Press which is a superb meal (you have to order your meals in advance) and 3W internet cafe, the girl who runs it is lovely.
I don't know if I would go back with Thomson as we had no rep on the coach either way and one of our party left their phone at the apartments. The Thomson rep at the airport wanted to charge us 50 euros to have it brought to the airport in a taxi. They would not consider posting it to us even though we offered.

The Teresa apts are just fantastic, the views are out of this world, the hosts do all they can to make you feel at home.
The food is great, the breakfasts are full English, or continental or whatever you want. The bbq night is not to be missed. The apts are clean and well looked after.
This is a great place to unwind with the family and kids. Very low key but the beach is superb, and there are great places to eat, the Olympia and Zorbas are a must for top quality food.
I’ve been to the Teresa apts four times and I have already booked for 2008, just cant wait.

We enjoyed staying at the Teresa Apartments in San Stefanos so much, the day after we got back we booked for the following year, June 2008.
The apartments are kept spotlessly clean, the views are fantastic, the food in the restaurant is superb, and you cannot ask for nicer people than the family who run the Teresa Apartments, nothing is too much trouble for them.
I would recommend this to anyone, unless you cannot manage the steep hill, apart from that, wonderful.
