Contessina Hotel

Just returned from Tsilivi - Stayed at the Contessina Hotel, very nice spotless room’s very friendly staff, swimming pool was very clean we had no problem getting a sun bed, we would definitely stay again.
Beautiful beach a short walk down the road which suited us, spent most of the fortnight at the beach hiring sun beds at 6euros for two and parasol we seemed to favour the Cozy taverna, great service and very friendly people working there, all in all a fantastic holiday - lots of very good restaurants lovely food to try we liked the Greek traditional ones best. Looking on returning soon.

The Hotel Contessina was absolutely brilliant. Great atmosphere around the pool, and with great restaurants and bars on you doorstep.
It has everything for all age groups within the hotel facilities, and also within the resort of Tislivi. It has a lovely beach, which is only a short 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Overall it is a great hotel in a great resort, I would recommend it anyone. I know that me, my girlfriend and our other friends will be returning this summer.

Had a great time at the Hotel Contessina only problem was getting up at the crack of dawn if you wanted a sunbed. Most had gone by 8.30 am. Decided not to bother the second week and went to the beach every day. Sunbeds at the beach are €6 for two including umbrella. Spent every day at the Cozy Beach Bar as service was excellent, good food reasonably priced and shower and toilet available. Air conditioning was € 6 per day and safety deposit box a further € 30 for two weeks so the extras can add up to a fair amount.
Maina Restaurant just as you go out of the hotel to the left was very good and prices were about average for the resort. Food and service were excellent at this restaurant.
Youngsters in the party went to Deano's most nights and also to Planet Bar. They seemed to enjoy themselves and there was enough for them to do.
Other restaurants are Dionysios down toward beach and turn right after Alamis along the small road at the side of the Alamis. Also Dionysus along the main road and slightly set back. Manos Grill is also very good but is more expensive.
Look forward to going back there again soon.

Absolutely brilliant, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have no criticism at all, the hotel was in an ideal place for easy access to everything. I would definitely visit again. all the staff were very polite and nice to us.

This hotel is excellent value for money. It's less than 5 minutes straight down the road to the beach, there are restaurants, shops and bars on the doorstep but the noisier ones are a bit further away so there is no noise in the hotel. A couple of nights of entertainment were on at the hotel but we didn't go to them.
The breakfast wasn't the best in the world but not as bad as others make out. There was always two cereals and bread, cheese and ham as well as some hot options. Of course with tea, coffee and juice. The staff are all very friendly and the hotel is immaculate. The bathroom had a shower which was all very clean and in perfect working order. The cleaners are not invasive.
The pool is small but lovely, the beds do get reserved but we were asked not to do this by the hotel staff. The beach is much nicer anyway! Our room had two single beds instead of a double but that may have been due to the tour operator rather than the hotel. A nice, decent sized balcony overlooking the pool too.
What more can I say? Absolutely no complaints on my part. Great hotel!
Also the best restaurant in Tsilivi is just next door, I think it was called the medina or something similar. Lovely food and a great Greek night!
A great resort!

Contessina is a very clean and friendly hotel. Location is brilliant, it is only a few minutes walk from the beach and there are lots of restaurants close by. The sunset bar, which is next door to the Contessina, is brilliant, spilios the owner is very friendly. The food there is very good and very cheap. Only had breakfast a couple of times at the Contessina as it was the same every morning - ham, cheese, bread and tinned peaches! There was no variation to it so we went to the sunset for breakfast where you can have anything you want from cornflakes to a full English. The only other down side to the Contessina was that there was no rule for people reserving sunbeds, I’m sure people put their towels out the night before because by 9am all sunbeds had towels on them!! And people would go out for the morning and still leave towels on beds to make sure they had beds when they came back. This was very unfair and the hotel should put a sign up about it.
Apart from that it is a very clean hotel and we enjoyed our stay there.
