Le Soleil Hotel

My husband and I and our two daughters have just spent 2 fantastic weeks at Le soleil- great Staff - excellent food - location was great - lots to do and places to visit - had a great time cycling around the resort - this Hotel will be on our list to revisit in the future.

Not a 4* hotel. All the family slept on 2ft 6in metal framed camp beds, very basic room. Only ate in the restaurant three nights out of seven. Total chaos, buffet not topped up, no choice of sweets and one hour for the staff to serve the whole hotel! you were lucky to get four course meal! Breakfast just as bad, not a pleasant dining experience! Poor staff did their best but spent most of their time apologising!
On the positive good location and decor, still enjoyed our second visit to Jesolo, good resort.

the hotel was everything we wanted in respect of location on the beach and in the middle of the resort. the negative side was although we enjoyed the hotel the organisation in the restaurant for the evening meal was terrible at times. the staff are running around but the organisation is down to management. the staff are lovely and food really enjoyable although not always as quick as should be for a four star hotel. i would also like to point out that when we received our bill we had been charged 3 euros each per day for a beach towel. there are no notices saying you have to pay for towels only for the beds by the pool which we never used. we just took it the towels were there for our use and gave our room number as security and never realised we would be charged 6 euros a day. we would have not bothered as we had our own but thought it more convenient to use hotels.

Having just returned from Hotel le soleil Lido di Jesolo from a week of halh board, I will not be returning nor do I recommend it. This is never a 4 star hotel. There was no indoor pool, no gym, no sauna, no evening entertainment. All things that make up a 4 star rating. The quality and selection of the menu was poor. Our tiny balcony over-looked a noisy road and the room was like a rabbit hutch. In reality the hotel was somewhere between a 2 and 3 star.

The hotel appeared to be very nice from the outside, but arriving at lunch time we had to wait over an hour as our room was not ready.
The room was very small with very little storage space and absolutely no view we looked out over the back of the hotel over looking bins and kitchen area the small balcony had no light on so we could not use it at night.
The staff were unhelpful and didn't speak much English so it was difficult sometimes to be understood.
I have stayed in many hotels in Italy and this certainly did not warrant 4 stars and would not recommend this hotel.
