Submitted By: Mr J LearoydThe hotel is a typical 3 star hotel but we were lucky that the room we were in had just been refurbished and the 1st floor sunbathing area was new and had just opened.
The staff were very good despite one day not getting our room cleaned which required two reports to the reception and a letter to the manager to get some action.
The food was OK and always a reasonable selection when we dined at 8pm, but we found it rather strange at breakfast as you had to set your own table and on an evening you had to find your own table.

Submitted By: Mrs S ToppingLevante beach 400 mtrs, the local open market is on Tues, and Sunday, lots of bargains to be had, just follow the crowd and you will get there no probs.
If you miss breakfast there is a good cafe called Marianos just round the corner and an excellent karaoke bar too that’s if you like that sort of thing.
Would definitely go back to the hotel Nereo. Good holiday.

Submitted By: Mrs V L NorrisWe thought the food was greasy and therefore did not enjoy any of the meals.
18 of us went to this hotel thinking that there would be a lot of dancing, there was only line dancing, and not sequence dancing as was stated in Portland brochure. We were told there was dancing in hotel Orange which was a taxi ride away.
We all dressed up one night ready for dancing where we found the programme had changed and it was a Country and Western night.
There was only one decent hotel nearby for dancing and that was the Calypso. We all wished we had stayed there instead of the Nereo.
If you enjoy good food and like Ballroom dancing then DO NOT go to the Nereo.

Submitted By: Mr S SandfordThe only downside was entertainment was poor all over by 11.30pm, and sun beds at pool had more towels on them than people, lucky for us our kids love the beach which is very close.
The bar staff were very helpful more than could be said for the grumpy restaurant staff.
We would return again.

Submitted By: dribsThe meals were very good with a good mixture to suit all tastes.
The rooms were also good. The bar prices were very reasonable but Benidorm as a hole is still very cheap for drinks compared to other Spanish resorts.
The Hotel is in an ideal location near to the bars and entertainment but still quiet at night. There is evening entertainment at the hotel be it a little low key.
We would go back again if we return to Benidorm.

Submitted By: Mr K OsborneOverall though the staff are friendly, the food was good.
Very close to the beach and just enough distance away from all the night life.
Plenty for the shopper and more than enough bars to get entertainment from.

Submitted By: Mrs J DandridgeLocation is flat and there are so many shops, restaurants, pubs within a short walking distance that you don't need to leave Rincon de Roix area. Benidorm Palace is within walking distance too, buses stop outside Nereo and the beach is very nearby.
We are booking again at Nereo or sister hotel, Rialto, (this is up an incline) in April. Can recommend any servigroup hotel without hesitation. Benidorm was a nice surprise and we were not ripped off once anywhere.

Submitted By: Mr d squireWe have been 3 times but I agree with the other report that the entertainment need updating but when your in this town you can always find something to do.
I would also like to add my thanks to all the staff that are very helpful.

Submitted By: Mr G FraserThe hotel was clean and the staff friendly, helpful and approachable. The location was far enough from the resort centre to be quiet but an easy walk to Levante beach and the main resort centre. All in all a very good hotel, the only minus point was the entertainment, but, maybe, it just didn’t suit me.

only problem we had was trying to get asunbed by pool,we are intending to go back again as we have stayed in other hotels in benidorm &we think the nereo has to be one of the best, thankyou to all the staff for agreat holiday.
