we stayed at the nereo on a 5 day break, the room was very clean&towels changed every day, also bedlinen changed regularly.food very good, staff very helpful&friendly. entertainment not very good but plenty of bars with shows just afew minutes walk away.
only problem we had was trying to get asunbed by pool,we are intending to go back again as we have stayed in other hotels in benidorm &we think the nereo has to be one of the best, thankyou to all the staff for agreat holiday.

Just returned from a week at the Nereo at a very good price.
The hotel is a typical 3 star hotel but we were lucky that the room we were in had just been refurbished and the 1st floor sunbathing area was new and had just opened.
The staff were very good despite one day not getting our room cleaned which required two reports to the reception and a letter to the manager to get some action.
The food was OK and always a reasonable selection when we dined at 8pm, but we found it rather strange at breakfast as you had to set your own table and on an evening you had to find your own table.

First time in Benidorm. The Hotel was excellent, food, pool area, staff we couldn't fault it, we would recommend this hotel to anyone. Lots to do and see all within walking distance.
Levante beach 400 mtrs, the local open market is on Tues, and Sunday, lots of bargains to be had, just follow the crowd and you will get there no probs.
If you miss breakfast there is a good cafe called Marianos just round the corner and an excellent karaoke bar too that’s if you like that sort of thing.
Would definitely go back to the hotel Nereo. Good holiday.

After reading other reviews of this hotel saying how good it was and the fact that Thomson gave it a Gold Medal. We were very disappointed as it did not live up to our expectations.
We thought the food was greasy and therefore did not enjoy any of the meals.
18 of us went to this hotel thinking that there would be a lot of dancing, there was only line dancing, and not sequence dancing as was stated in Portland brochure. We were told there was dancing in hotel Orange which was a taxi ride away.
We all dressed up one night ready for dancing where we found the programme had changed and it was a Country and Western night.
There was only one decent hotel nearby for dancing and that was the Calypso. We all wished we had stayed there instead of the Nereo.
If you enjoy good food and like Ballroom dancing then DO NOT go to the Nereo.

We stayed here for one week with our two young boys. We loved this hotel, food was good, and rooms were cleaned daily & clean towels every day.
The only downside was entertainment was poor all over by 11.30pm, and sun beds at pool had more towels on them than people, lucky for us our kids love the beach which is very close.
The bar staff were very helpful more than could be said for the grumpy restaurant staff.
We would return again.

We Stayed at the hotel Nereo in mid April 07 the weather was mixed but the hotel was excellent.
The meals were very good with a good mixture to suit all tastes.
The rooms were also good. The bar prices were very reasonable but Benidorm as a hole is still very cheap for drinks compared to other Spanish resorts.
The Hotel is in an ideal location near to the bars and entertainment but still quiet at night. There is evening entertainment at the hotel be it a little low key.
We would go back again if we return to Benidorm.

The hotel was great. The only problem was that there is building work going on right outside the front door. You will not get any peace and quiet, it starts from 8am going through until 8pm.
Overall though the staff are friendly, the food was good.
Very close to the beach and just enough distance away from all the night life.
Plenty for the shopper and more than enough bars to get entertainment from.

Our first visit to Benidorm and had some misgivings. Hotel Nereo is one of the best 3* hotels we have stayed in. Staff and service first class. The choice of food was excellent and plentiful, wine list was very reasonable. Entertainment fair but there is so much on offer nearby and you need to go for a walk to work off all that food.
Location is flat and there are so many shops, restaurants, pubs within a short walking distance that you don't need to leave Rincon de Roix area. Benidorm Palace is within walking distance too, buses stop outside Nereo and the beach is very nearby.
We are booking again at Nereo or sister hotel, Rialto, (this is up an incline) in April. Can recommend any servigroup hotel without hesitation. Benidorm was a nice surprise and we were not ripped off once anywhere.

Hotel, room, food & staff very good more for the over 40's with no children
We have been 3 times but I agree with the other report that the entertainment need updating but when your in this town you can always find something to do.
I would also like to add my thanks to all the staff that are very helpful.

Stayed in this hotel 16th to 23rd oct, found it to be in the ideal spot, indoor market smack opposite, shops and bars close by,beach and the nightlife just a few minutes stroll away, the hotel was spotless, food was good with a good choice and was always hot [unless you are a salad fan]staff were very friendly and helpfull, room was very good beds and laundry changed every couple days, we found the Nereo to be one of the best hotels in Benidorm and we will back there in the near future.
