Beatriz Palace Hotel & Spa Reviews
" Just came back from a long weekend... "

Just came back from a long weekend staying at the Beatriz Palace Hotel & Spa in Feungirola, What a lovely hotel, really clean and rooms great, staff really friendly and breakfast was fantastic (eveything you want hot or cold). Didnt have time to use gym facilities but everything there you need. All rooms have balcony looking down on pool and facing the sea (fantastic view). Hotel is out of the main drag, but a nice stroll walking along the sea front to the main shopping area. The only downfall with the hotel is the walls are very thin, people slaming doors and you can hear people in the next room!!!!!!!!! and walking around and there conversation, so you are not guaranteed a good nights sleeps!!!!!!! BUT STILL HAD A WICKED TIME at the Beatriz hotel and a nice day trip to Marbella.

" We have just returned from a fabulous... "

We have just returned from a fabulous 7 days at this hotel.
We stayed on a half board basis and the food was wonderful. The rooms were spotless and the staff very helpful.
We had ground floor rooms which were great as we could sit outside the door whilst the children had their afternoon nap, also it was ideal for the children to come straight out of the door and into the pool.
The children’s club was good fun and in the evening they have a mini disco which the children enjoy before the entertainment starts. We found reception to be extremely helpful and when you order a taxi it arrives within a couple of minutes!
It was lovely having the beach right outside the hotel. The sunbeds are around 8 Euros to hire but show the guy your hotel room card and you get a discount.
The location of the hotel isn’t great; everything is a fair walk away. However, the promenade is now finished and you can easily walk into Fuengirola which takes around 20 - 30 mins.
We used to head up to the crazy golf which the children enjoyed. The Miramar Parque shopping mall is about a 25 min walk which is worth a visit, also Dunnes Stores (equivalent to our M&S).
This is a beautiful hotel, perfect for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely return next year.

" The Hotel is amazing I cannot fault... "

The Hotel is amazing I cannot fault it one bit!
We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast is 10/10! Caters for everybody and so much choice along with a selection of free champagne to choose from (nice 5* touch) Wish we had gone half board now!
The rooms were large and we had a nice balcony overlooking the pool (which I think most rooms have). I would suggest to ask for a high floor as I noticed some rooms had a open terrace leading out to the pool, which I can imagine is great if you have kids but if you want some privacy probably not the best rooms, as people are sunbathing right outside your patio doors! If you want the safe in the room they charge 2 Euros a day.
Pool area is amazing nice and large and never crowded! Just past the pool it leads you onto the private beach; unfortunately you do have to pay for the sunbeds/umbrella's which will set you back 8 Euros which can mount up every day!
The nearest bar/cafe is called Bikini beach I wouldn’t recommend going there I would walk further along the promenade/beach where you will find nicer restaurants to eat lunch/dinner.
I read previously that Fuengirola is 10 mins walk! That is FALSE when you walk along the promenade and over the bridge to get to the main area of Fuengirola (Clubs etc...) it’s a good 20-30min walk.
In the day it takes longer because of the heat we usually got a taxi at the beginning of the night which would cost around 12 Euros then we would walk back... But if you want to go to shops during the day etc... Unfortunately the Beatriz isn’t in the best location for that!
The only downside to the hotel is location it is perfect if you hire a car there was plenty of free parking spaces and it has good access to the motorways so you would save so much money on Taxi's.
Fuengirola was great the only bad point is the people trying to sell you stuff... You sit on the beach and you will get hounded constantly by African men trying to sell you fake designer bags and sunglasses (not good fakes May I add) and this will be happening at least every 15/20 mins, the only good ones on the beach is the Chinese people offer messages!
Then in the evening when we went into the town you would be sitting down for dinner and the African men would be back AGAIN trying to sell the same old stuff me and my partner counted how many times they approached us during our meal and we lost count it was well over 50 times. Not good... and even worse when you are sitting in a restaurant they still come and ask... The restaurant staff can’t stop them and this was everywhere we went! At the end of the week the best thing to do is ignore them because as soon as you start being nice and showing some interest it will get worse!
This isn’t something you can avoid being in the Costa del Sol.

" My partner and I have just returned... "

My partner and I have just returned from Fuingerola and have had the most perfect 8 nights at the Beatriz Palace & Spa. I booked on line for both our flights and accommodation.
We used Easy Jet to fly to Malaga and got a taxi to the resort. This was pricey but worth it as we had an late evening flight.
The hotel was PERFECT! The 5 stars it has been awarded are very well deserved. The Rooms are airy and clean with bed linen changed daily!
The restaurants, bars and entertainment were outstanding.
The breakfast room, which was also the main restaurant was catered by numerous waiting staff all very well presented, excellent table service ( almost silver service) with all speaking English.
The pool area was magnificent and attended at all times by a friendly guy that also managed a towel system so you need not have to worry about getting yours wet at all!
All the reception staff spoke perfect English and had very good local knowledge - this proved very worthwhile as we used their advice in using public transport to get around while we were on holiday and also to get back to the airport.
The total cost to return via bus and rail was less than 7 Euros between the two of us. A whopping saving of around 30 euros than if we’d used a taxi.
Fuingerola itself is geared towards the typical Costa holiday. That said it has something for everyone. The busy main road is a concern if you have children but with a mass expanse of beach and plenty of low cost restaurants it makes an ideal family holiday destination.
Marbella and Puerta Banus are easily accessible by bus for just a few Euros and these resorts certainly open the eyes of the man on the street... Puerta Banus is just worlds apart.. wealthy and flash with loads of top of the range cars and private yachts to gawp at.
We have had one of the best holidays ever and would recommend the Beatriz Palace to all. <br>
