Just returned from a relaxing break at the Cleopatra Palace, decided on B&B because we like to eat out and breakfast was my only gripe as poor quality bacon and lack of a decent pork sausage was a let down, plenty of lighter options though to choose from, as for rooms, staff and facilities this hotel cannot be faulted, location is in the heart of Las Americas where you can step on to the beach or cross road to the the many shops etc, will book again next year.

Great hotel although was mostly filled with old couples. A lot of variety in breakfast buffet although food was tasteless. Horrible! Apart from this hotel was brilliant. Couldn't fault staff at all. Nice rooms and nice view. Would definitly reccommend and can't wait to go back.

The staff and food were excellent and the Gala dinner evenings and staff entertaining were very enjoyable and worthwhile.
If you have never experienced a backache and you do not wish to then ask for a topper on the bed .
The pool beds are even harder (made of concrete) and will give you the bad back you avoided by having a topper on the room bed.
A number of clients cottoned on to the concrete beds and went to the Med Palace next door.
This is why the Med Palace pool was almost full and the Cleopatra pool approximately one third full.
In the Summer, I can see a real problem as there will be no spare pool beds for the numerous Cleopatra clients not wanting to have a bad back !!
The evening entertainment was ok but very much geared to older people.
The nightclub was ok but the singers there -with the exeption of the piano player -are Karaoke standard.
Harry's bar over the road is worth a visit.

My wife and I recently returned from 2 weeks at the Cleopatra Palace, although we have been many times to Tenerife it was our first time at this hotel. We usually stay at rui hotels and at first were pleasantly surprised with the splendid reception area and warm welcome we were greeted with the usual champagne at the check in, and later had a bottle and some fruit delivered to our room. The room are spacious and adequate however be warn there is no iron or ironing board as stated on website however you can get one from reception but they seem to think you only require it for 5 minutes as they are soon knocking the door for it back.
Food wise breakfast was good with plenty to choose and they was a good choice with the evening meals if after 2 weeks a little repetitive, but there are plenty of good bars and restaurants locally to choice I would recommend the sunshine Chinese in the local side street. There is little or no entertainment in the hotel and drinks are very expensive so no one uses it but hey its Tenerife throw a stick you will hit a tribute artist and a cheap bar. The strip is a hive of bars I would recommend the George and Dragon for a lively and loud night.
Some other tips gents it long trousers they will not stand for ¾ at night and for the ladies on Thursday nights half board customers are invite to the gala night on the roman terrace you can spot the returning guest who come pre prepared with evening wear and cocktail dresses.
Be prepared to bag your loungers by the roman pool which is the quietest pool and if you want a lounger by the beach I suggest you send your towel about 2 months before as we never got one in 2 weeks

This Hotel is one of the best hotels in Tenerife. We got back on Friday after having a week’s stay and we enjoyed every minute.
We had a fourth floor room, which had a large balcony with small pool, sun loungers, patio chairs, table, and umbrella. The fourth floor has around 6 rooms with fantastic sea views.
There are two suites on this floor that had lounge areas.
You can sit in the bath on this floor and have fantastic sea views from the bathroom.
The staff at the resort were 1st class and the food at breakfast was endless.
We will return - I recommend this hotel - you will not be disappointed.

Spent a long weekend at this 5* hotel in Tenerife. It is part of the Mare Nostrum resort. The location of the hotel was great and we got to eat out and enjoy lots of nice restaurants.
The hotel itself was very good, the room was clean and big enough for us. Pool area was great and the staff were very friendly. We booked flights and hotel separately and think we paid a good price especially as it is a 5* hotel.
We will definately be going back but for longer next time.

Just come back from holiday, this was our first time in a hotel we could not fault any part of this holiday.
Weather was very hot, and hotel was fantastic, it was that good we are going back with all the family next year.
Every part of the hotel was spotless. Interior was of high standard and the staff were fantastic.
I will say one thing, take plenty of money with you the resort is full of designer gear.

Booked this holiday because i know lots of friends that go to Tenerife. I was excited as i love travelling to new places. Got to say that as the coach drove up it looked great from the outside.
This excitement was short lived and I was disappointed from the moment I stepped through the doors. The room was not clean at all and I had to get the manager up to the room as the sheets were stained and not clean at all. After they changed them I noticed that although cleaner they were not the best and there was a cigarette burn in the corner of them.
We did try the food but to be truthful they were very expensive and after that I always ate out and bought cereal bars and jam and croissants for the room so that I had breakfast.
The resort is nice but I would not travel back to this hotel I’m afraid.

We stayed for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel rooms are quite basic, not really 5*, but everything else was great.
The only bug we had was the in-hotel entertainment in the evening. This tended to be weighted towards ballroom dancing type music. This was not every night but enough to annoy.
The pool and bar facilities were excellent and we found the staff very friendly.
The general area around the hotel was excellent, clean, lots of shops and restaurants to entertain all ages in the evenings.

This is rated as a 5* hotel and is anything but. I have stayed in better 3* hotels! The hotel and resort themselves are nice and look impressive but the rooms are small, shabby and dated.
Our sheets had holes in them on most days. The shelf in the built-in wardrobe was made of conti-board and was sagging, split and disintegrating. The furniture is chipped and of poor quality. It boasts seven restaurants but only two are ever open at one time (one of which is always the buffet). We ate in the 'Italian' on the first night and the food was awful. The buffet was pretty good but fairly basic and not 5*. The hotel is on the beach but it's a public beach and so a free-for-all. The staff were very pleasant and the cleanliness of the hotel was good, but if you want 5* quality go elsewhere!
I left feeling VERY disappointed having spent all that money. We only booked a few weeks before Christmas and it's no wonder they had vacancies. No-one we met was a repeat visitor - they were all first-timers. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere!

Fantastic hotel the best we have ever been to going back every year from now on. One of the best hotels in tenerife.
A great selection for breakfast more than you could ever eat. Hot and Cold selection including champagne.
Lovely room overlooking the pool including mini bar and air conditioning but all rooms have either got pool or sea view.
All i can say is it was just fantastic! Somewhere everybody should stop.
