Disney's All-Star Music Resort

Our family went last week (August 1-8) and we were very pleased with the property and service. The rooms are kind of small but clean. Housekeeping was wonderful and they arranged toys and stuffed animals in a fun way for the kids to come back to. Towels/washclothes were also made into cute animals and shapes. The pools (guitar & piano shaped) are huge with lifeguards on duty and children are allowed to use floatation devices. The staff was very helpful and professional. We went for a mini get away and we used to stay outside of disney at any random hotel and i have to say i wish i would have known sooner about staying at this resort, i thought it would be so expensive but i was wrong. The rooms are very clean and when you arrive back to your room everything is so tidy. The staff was excellent and the pools were fabulous, and very necessary. Based on this site, we recently stayed at the All Star Music Resort. The rooms are more than adequate but you must ask for non-smoking, a hairdryer and iron. The food, however, is terrible. We stayed in the Broadway section as reccomended on this site. Good choice- quiet and the pool is not crowded. My daughter had a badley sprained ankle and we needed to use a wheelchair at the parks. We've stayed at the All-Star Music a couple times, and think that it is a good choice for a limited budget. Though it isn't the nicest of properties, for the price it really is a great value. We'd definetly return again.

You get what you pay for.I was disappointed in my stay here. I have stayed at other Disney properties and found them wonderful. The rooms at All Star Music were much smaller, not as clean and looked dated. This is not the qulaity I expect from Disney. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone staying for more than a night due to the small quarters. Traveling the bus system from the value resorts takes too much time and the buses are much more crowded than the moderate/deluxe resorts.Pay the few dollars extra and stay at Carribean... more

I have just gotten back from the All Star Music Resort. I have to say that this was one of the best stays I have ever had In a Disney resort. The greeting you get when you first come through the door was amazing, The staff always had a smile and seems they could never do enough for you. The resort was very child friendly, and plenty of things for the kids to do. Transportation from the hotel to the Parks was amazing, We never waited more then 10 minutes for a bus and the bus drivers were very informative, and helpful. I'm looking... more

All the Disney touches for a lot less money. The service and atmosphere of the hotel was the high level that we expect from Disney. My son couldn't wait to go up the bongo drum staircase to his room. And, to top it off, balloons and a signed Mickey Mouse photograph were brought to the room for my son's birthday--he was absolutely blown away! We would definitely recomend this hotel to anyone going to Disneyworld.

We stayed there this past weekend with our 3-yr old. Perfect for her, great food court, lots of choices for a picky toddler. Great pool - nice environment. The room was OK, just wish the shower had been cleaner. The shower curtain and walls had not been cleaned well. We had to request a room change because there was trash under the beds (we found out cause there was a a Beauty & Beast picture hanging on the wall that my daughter was afraid of and had to move the bed). We stayed for 2 weeks at the 'all star music' - we LOVED it. I forget the price $90 per night?? well, it was a fantastic deal!!!! The room wasn't fancy but very clean and comfortable. (how much time do you spend in your room at Disney anyway?) The FOOD COURT was AWESOME -- big and easy to find seats -- so many choices of food for a quick breakfast or late supper -- super value -- the CONVENIENCE STORE was great (yes, this resort even has a store!) -- we found everything we needed - bandages, cranberry juice -- whatever we needed they had it... more

All Star Music is a great choice for anyone who has always wanted to stay on Disney property but can't afford the usual Disney prices. The rooms are clean, the landscaping and design are beautiful, and the pool is as good if not better than anything you'd get at a medium range hotel on international drive. The food court is reasonably priced with a great selection. And don't worry about the room size....it's not big but if you're there to see the parks then it doesn't matter. You'll have a great experience on a budget!!
