I really love to stay in the Disney's All-Star Movies resort. Because theme of all of Disney Films. My favorite theme is the Fantasia theme. I hope my mom and dad and I will stay in the Fantasia theme I hope! The Donald's Double Feature is awesome and the food court will be cool too! I wish to stay in this hotel again! A perfect 10 in my book!

" Overall nice stay. Hotel quite far... "

Overall nice stay. Hotel quite far from Magic Kingdom etc. but as a hotel guest parking was free at parks, so it often was easier driving to destination, rather than getting the free transportation.

Free transportation easy to locate and navigate although could be tedious as bus went via other hotels on route before driving to final destination, also could be busy at certain times.

Resort fun, accommodation slightly basic, overall good for price. Cup from cafe well worth purchasing on first day as then you can receive free refills as often as you like. There was a choice of soft drinks, coca cola etc and hot drinks hot chocolate was yummy :)

We booked accommodation through Walt Disney website and booked flights separate, this was very straightforward and would recommend as we saved money by booking this way.

" I had always dreamed of going to... "

I had always dreamed of going to America and in particular Disney, believe it or not I was 30 before I got there. I almost thought I would never get there.

As the date of the holiday got nearer I began to think that maybe I was a little too old to be going, but deep down I couldn't wait to get there.

There were three of us going myself, my mum and my grandmother so three generations.
We were all very excited when the day eventually arrived and we boarded the plane.
We had booked to stay at one of the Disney hotels.

The hotel is quite large but divided into separate blocks, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the atmosphere is very good.

They have a great offer on drinks, you can buy a Disney cup (it has a cover on it) and you can use this at the hotel for your entire stay.

This entitles you to free refills the entire time you are at the hotel. It really is great value. Every night we filled up with hot chocolate at the restaurant and sat in the grounds of the hotel.

You can obviously use the cup for any of the drinks available (soft drinks that is).

The staff are friendly and always happy to help if you need it, nothing is too much trouble for them. It really makes service in the UK look dreadful, we didn't want to leave and are totally addicted.

We were all so excited when we arrived that it was bung the bags down and off to explore. We had a drive around to get our bearings, it was then we realised just how enormous Disney really was.

Epcot.
This had to be one of the favourites for the three of us. We were there at such a good time as well "for the millennium celebration. You couldn't help but get a little emotional with the amazing parade and the spectacular fireworks which followed.

The world showcase is a representation of eleven countries of the world; it is situated around a massive lake. Each country has been put together in a few square yards. The sights sounds and smells of each of them have been cleverly added there for a truly wonderful experience.

When you get to the end you really feel like you have visited each country. We really thought the parks were superb value for money. (Highly Recommended)

MGM is also packed with things to do, there are some fantastic 3-D shows to watch which will make you feel like you are in the production yourself, it really does take 3-D to another dimension.

You will find some amazing rides here suitable for all ages. The favourite for me was the twilight zone's 'Tower of Terror'.

I think we were all expecting very large queue's for a lot of the attractions we were surprised to find that they were ok.

Disney sure does things well, even if the queue is large each attraction has a whole story to go with it so the time just fly's by (it makes the ride more exciting too) MGM Is also a working studio so you get the chance to go behind the scenes to see stunts etc, you can see how cartoons are created with an animation tour.

We are really only scratching the surface of these places, this is really worth a visit. We tried to get back to all of the places twice, but would recommend more to really see it all.

Disney's Animal Kingdom, Again after being to some of the other Disney parks we were not surprised at the level of detail that had gone into the creation of this park. The centrepiece for this park is the tree of life (in the picture) it is a work of art with many animals carved into it.

Within the tree of life is a brilliant 3-D adventure showing which although short you really shouldn't miss.

When you visit the park it really is advisable that you go as early as possible as the animals are more active (they do like to sleep in the afternoon) also do the safari as soon as you arrive and then explore the rest of the park.

It is laid out so well that you couldn't possibly believe that the animals are in cages. You walk through enclosures that you don't even know are there and now and again you will get animals running in front of you.

They seem to really run free (no danger to you though). It really is advisable to get an all in one ticket for all the parks as this one is $42 for an adult on its own for the day. It is well worth a visit though.

If you are planning to visit all the parks it really is best to get an all in ticket, preferably one that allows you to re-enter the parks as often as you like, for most of the parks one visit is just not enough.

There isn't too much choice for eating at the animal kingdom so taking a packed lunch with you is a good idea, it can actually be a good idea to take one with you to all of the parks as the restaurants do get very busy and they are expensive compared with eating outside. There are some really lovely places to sit and eat whatever you decide.

Another tip is to go to the back of the park and work backwards to avoid the crowds. However with the new fast pass (pre-bookable ride times for some attractions) queues aren't too bad, you can only book one at a time though.

'The Magic Kingdom

This is where the magic began.
As you enter you arrive onto main street USA it is a mock up of a small American town about the turn of the century. You can get to all four sections of the park from here. Here you can catch some unforgettable parades.

There is also a train which orbits the whole park and has various stops along the way, it's a great way to get an overview of the park and it offers a well deserved rest for those aching feet.

There are some great rides here, Space mountain was brilliant but not great for the oldies(my grandmother did it though but don't think she will do it again)There is a haunted mansion, that's worth going on for the laugh and the effects on it are very good, but believe me you will come out laughing your head off.

Big thunder mountain is a runaway train looked great (was closed for re-design) so will try it out next time.

Fantasy land is geared for the very young children, but is still worth visiting for the grown ups. After all Disney really does take everyone back to their childhood.

The fairy castle is the main focal point and in the evening provides an amazing backdrop for the firework display which Tinkerbelle starts when she fly's through the window.

A bit of really important advice here...
After the fireworks have finished there are massive crowds to leave the park, as the only way to get off is by boat or ferry. So keep a tight grip on those children.

It is maybe better to either wait for the crowds to go first. I would suggest leaving before but I really think there worth seeing. Also a lot of families have walkie talkies, this is also a good idea just incase you get separated.

Or as soon as you get to the park arrange where you will meet if you do loose a member of the family.

We visited here on the last day; here there was so much to see it is divided into areas, some of which are interactive. Its best to check out for times as feeding the animals has to be done at certain times of the day, then you wont be disappointed.

Feeding time for the Dolphins gets extremely busy and there is only a certain amount of food at each time so arrive there early.

You can also feed the sharks, stingrays and sea lions.

Sea world is dedicated to marine research which is great so all the displays are a brilliant way of educating all of us.

There is a really interesting exhibit about the manatees (which are in so much danger because of mankind) pictured below. There is a fantastic walk through display "Terrors of the Deep" all kinds of predators are there including sharks.

There are all kinds of displays going on here, so do check on all the timings, you really do need more than a day I think.

Eating out:
There are loads of good eating places, especially on international drive. You can find coupons for most of them in the supermarkets and these give money off the meals or other special offers.

The food is very very good in each of the establishments and the value is amazing. We really do not have anything like it over here.

A couple of my personal favourites are:
Ponderosa, Denny’s, Sizzlers and The Golden Coral.

You have a massive choice of very good quality food for breakfast and dinner and the prices are astounding, even cheaper with the coupons mentioned earlier. Coffee refills and fantastic service really make a good start and end to your day.

" Fantastic holiday from the start. Had... "

Fantastic holiday from the start. Had decided not to have a car, transfers were good and Disney buses frequent to all parks with no more than 15 mins journey time.

Hotel clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Worth buying resort mug and then having free refills which included coffee, hot choc as well as usual fizzy stuff.

Room was basic but clean and towels changed every day. All theme parks excellent.

Good idea to have 14 day pass as this makes you less likely to try and pack in too much all at once.

Trying to avoid eating junk food was a problem but some of the restaurants were amusing. Our favourite was 50's Prime Time Diner (MGM Studios)which treated us all like kids, with no elbows on table and shaming adults who hadn't eaten their veg - very funny!

" This Holiday was amazing. Everything... "

This Holiday was amazing. Everything about Florida is Fabulous!

The food is great so much choice and so cheap. The people cant do enough to help you out.

The parks are a dream come true - all of them.

I went with my 2 kids aged 4 and 2 they had such a great time I cant wait to go back!

TOP TIP: Do not buy clothes to go with, take old clothes in your cases and bin them on arrival and PLEASE hit the outlets! I have never had so much fun spending my money, everything is so cheap.

The hotel was clean and looks great as it is Disney themed, but food in hotel is 3 times price of anywhere else in Florida and really awful! The hotel reminded my husband of butlins but just a larger scale.

Pools were great open till 12pm every night with lifeguards there too.

The hotels in Florida really should be a base only, as you go to parks most day, but when you need a rest you want to enjoy your day at the hotel. You cant do that at All Stars, as no entertainment or good food.

To be able to do that , we hit the water parks as well (they are amazing for all ages !)

I recommend the Disney flexiticket for all Disney parks well worth the money. I don't recommend the universal one as we only used that a few times.

Really and truly magical holiday - cannot wait to go back.

" Great value Disney resort. Rooms are... "

Great value Disney resort. Rooms are big compared to UK room sizes. The resort is very clean, room service is reliable & they do a good job, especially if you leave a small tip.

Two swimming pools, plenty of sun beds, and within walking distance to the All Star Sport & All Star Music. Free unlimited use of Disney transportation, but it can get very busy during peak times, but then it saves having to pay $10 - $13 each day to park at the theme park. Very helpful staff. Food can get a bit boring on site if you stay 2 weeks, as the menu doesn't really change at all.

You can walk to a big McDonalds within 10 minutes if you do not have a car. There is a small onsite shop, but very limited with food as its mainly full of Disney goods. You do really need a car to get around Orlando & the area as it is very spread out and there is lots to see and do. Don't miss Seaworld, it is fabulous! And take a spare suitcase to bring all your purchases back in as the shopping is so much cheaper compared to UK prices.

One crucial tip when in Florida - never use the telephone in your room to make long distance calls - the rates are extortionate, I wish someone would have warned me as it cost me $250 for 7 very short (3 minutes each) calls to the UK during our stay. It is cheaper to use a mobile phone so if you pre pay, top up plenty before you leave the UK.

" Super resort - very clean stayed in... "

Super resort - very clean stayed in Toy story block which was very handy for main pool area and food halls.

Negative comment hated the plastic knifes and forks and paper plates food was served on but quality and choice of food was good.

Staying in a Disney resort gave us extra magic hours around the parks on various nights these are great as you can dash around all the popular rides with limited wait times - If you can fit it in go to Blizzard beach for a break from the parks its a really nice and relaxing day.

" Hotel great, staff very helpful, when... "

Hotel great, staff very helpful, when I had a problem went down and they had it sorted in minutes. There was a lot to do at the hotel and there is easy transport to and from all the Disney parks and there is even help to get to and from other Florida attractions.

The only down side is food, great if you like burgers, chips, or pizza but finding much else is hard! All the rides and attractions in the parks are all for all ages! Shows and shops everywhere. So great cant wait to go back.

" I have never had so much fun in 3... "

I have never had so much fun in 3 weeks, Disneyworld is the perfect holiday for all ages, the hotel was clean, staff were attentive and the food was great. The best thing about stopping at a Disney hotel is that there are free buses to all the Disney parks which run extremely frequently throughout the day, this is ideal for anyone who wants a hassle free holiday.

I would highly recommend visiting discovery cove and swimming with the dolphins, it is an experience I shall never forget.

I think anyone would have a great time in Florida, I am already planning my next trip.

" The hotel was amazing with a... "

The hotel was amazing with a fantastic atmosphere based on all the favourite Disney characters. The pool nearest our hotel room was set on the mighty ducks and the main pool was home to Mickey from Fantasia who shot water from his fingers. The main hall of the hotel held a wide variety of food and drink that were available throughout the day and changed for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Because our hotel was a part of Disney we had regular bus services to each park, all of which were air conditioned and very comfortable. The staff throughout the whole holiday were friendly and helpful and one of the best things was the fact that your shopping could be taken to your hotel room if you didn’t want to carry it through the parks. An absolutely amazing holiday.

" Accommodation was fantastic, very... "

Accommodation was fantastic, very clean and comfortable our return to the apartment each day the hotel cleaners would arrange my daughters teddy bears in amusing places(i.e. Watching the TV or sitting at the window)so was always an exciting time for them coming back to the room.
The bus to the parks were regular and on time and the drivers were usually comical or giving out info on the parks. The pool was clean and warm and the food was very varied and to suit all tastes and appetites. Vegetarians (like myself)are not always easy to cater for though in the evenings, I often ended up with either pasta or pizza!
The staff at the hotel were always helpful and friendly and take extra special care of the needs of families.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone as it’s not as expensive as you might think.

" If you are looking for a relaxing... "

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, then this is one to avoid. However, if you are looking for non-stop action and entertainment, Disney is the place for you.

The accomodation was superb with every facility that you would need from swimming pools to laundrettes, to food halls and games rooms. They were exceptional in all ways, from cleanliness to quality. You could not fault these, particularly when your laundry is on the go whilst you arehaving a swin in one of their huge, fun pools.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Upon arriving at the hotel, you are greeted by the receptionist who takes your details and produces a voucher for a free gift of your choice. Children can have photos with any of the Disney characters or invite them to breakfast. Nothing is impossible.

There is free transportation to many of the parks, all of which are well worth a visit or two. Those out of the area, the hotel will provide transport for you.

It has to be THE best holiday, whether you are ten or one hundred, there is something for everyone. One that I would thoroughly recommend.
