Flamingo Playa Apartments

I stayed at these apartments in September for a week a/i and had a brilliant time, the reception, bar and night duty staff were all friendly. Rooms spacious and clean, towels changed everyday if needed and rooms changed twice in the week. The entertainment needs a bit of attention but overall it was fantastic value for money. I'm booking for next year at these apartments.

We returned from Flamingo playa on the 23rd August and to be honest we cant fault it. Apartment was clean , plenty of room for 2 adults and one messy teenager. Air con a must though , you just pay a deposit of 10 euros for the remote control ( but get that back no probs). The hotel is a good 20 mins walk to the beach and it is up a hill ( im disabled so that was a problem )a taxi cost just 5 euros , a bus up to the old part of benidorm is just 1.20 euros. Swimming pool in the Flamingo playa is a little small but there are 2 more, one is a large pool at their sister hotel ( where the main restaurant is ). Entertainment , well, they tried but mainly bingo.open the box, parrot shows... pretty standard for benidorm

been to this hotel 3 times now and when we arrived we heard a few people saying it was the worst holiday ever. we booked through on the beach and were told we had to pay for air con, if u book with thompsons or thomas cook this is included however i got it free anyway. the rooms r basic but spacious. it caters for self catering so theres a cooker and fridge even though we were ai. theres a choice of 3 pools at this time of year which is great as sometimes 1 may be too busy. the hotel is a good walk to the beach, the entertainment at nite only lasts 1 hr and did not appeal to us.
we met loads of nice people and had a relaxing time but this hotel is not for everyone. we found the reception staff very helpful. the only complaint is the pool could have been cleaned more.

we have been going benidorm for years and we love it i go with my nan,grandad and mum. we had a night mare at first when are travel company booked us in this hotel and didn't tell us till we arrived at another hotel in Benidorm. well that all got sorted and we turnt up and thought it dnt look too bad, we had a look round the pool was so small we couldn't believe it . we were booked all inclusive so we had to go to another hotel down the road to use their facilities and to watch their entertainment. the rooms were satisfactory and the lifts that we had to use as we were staying on one of the top floors broke dwn every 5 mins this was not my ideal holiday along with the trouble had at the start. one morning we decided we would try breakfast here well .... there was hardly any and it was very well done ; we wasn't impressed !
However i found some of the staff were nice and polite.

just come back from 2 weeks all inclusive staying at flamingo playa apartments and friends stayed in the hotel .. cant fault anything at all the apartments were spacious . clean and bright well decorated a fully equiped kitchen .tv .air con towels changed everyday .. we could have breakfast and dinner in the apartment resturant and all drinks or go to the main hotel .. full english breakfast everyday.. roast beef and yorkshires on sunday .. lamb and mint sauce dinners or pork and apple sauce roasts plenty of variety to suit everyone could not fault at all but was disappointed with snacks as only cheese and ham toasties available with lettuce tomatoes cucumber and onions lol .. would definately go back again // but word of warning do not stay at the vistamar apartments down the road as police were there most nights of our holidays lots of trouble there :-)

went to this hole in june room was filthy the tv was broken screen hangin off, foot prints on the sofa bed, mould on the curtians, cockroach in the kitchen, main door broken, came back to find 3 lads trying to get in to our room, lift slow and lights not working, went over to lunch and everywhere was stricky and dirty,food wasnt nice. couldnt stay there had to leave that day, would not recommemd this hotel to anyone and should not be advertised for families with young children

we have been home just over a week now and we have been trying to find fault with both the flamingo playa + the main hotel and to be truthful we cant. the food was outstanding,both hotels and our apartment were spotless room cleaned towels changed every day staff friendly + helpful when needed.two nice pools did prefer the one in our hotel mind (playa)bit more quiet and the bars well stocked and good quick friendly service will recomend to friends and will defo return. thanks to all the staff for a fab week.

we went in june 2011 , 11th - 18th, there was 4 of us , two adults , two chidren, NEVER go again , rats around the pool and in the bin , food = rubish! , dirty rooms , cleaners do NOT clean your bed sheets and towels every day, sheets had cigarette burns in them.
bar staff was rude, we had to go to another hotel for food and drinks even though we was all inclusive and the drink machines where broke.

Just been on the worst week of my life to Benidorm. Stayed here at the Flamingo, the only good thing was it was central to everything. The place had Stag and Hen partys arriving all the time at least three a day our week, sometimes 30 strong. If you want to sleep, get it in earlie because after about 2.30 - 3.00 o clock you have no chance.The place was clean and very basic, food nothing special best thing was sausage roll in beans for dinner one day! MMM that was the highlight! Also could not make the most of the pool or relaxing aera as it was filled with recovering Stags or Hens, This holiday would win by a mile if entered "Holidays From Hell"

This experience was appauling and one which should never be repeated. Travelling with a 4 month old you would of thought that they could find a room within the 21 floors that does not have extremely drunk stags returning home at 5am but no, this is what we had to endure.The place is full of Chavs, stella's and tramps. The food is horrendous with not a sniff of anything remotely spanish. All you get is poor very basic English food. the funny thing is that some of the management are british, i hope that they are embarrassed serving this pile of ****. We stayed for 2 nights as it was my birthday AI and we ate out because the food was inedible. If your reading this DON'T do it!!!
