Hotel Royal

This was our first trip to Benidorm so we didn't really know where to stay. We followed the advice on TripAdvisor and booked this hotel at what I thought was a reasonable rate. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely efficient, helpful and courteous at all times. We asked about any Harley Bike dealers in the area and the lady at reception went as far as ringing a friend to give us as many details as she could, that was going by far further than we would have expected. This was the first hotel I looked at when booking accomodation in Benidorm and was convinced to do so by the reviews on Trip Advisor and it lived up to all of them even though we didn't really make the most of the hotel facilities such as the swimming pool simply beacuse the one day when we could have used it was overcast. Hotel was clean, smart and definitely above your average hotel in Benidorm. It was also well placed with the beach and old town only a five minute walk away. The price was also very reasonable. Excellent hotel, rooms good although could have had tea making facilities. We were half board and evening buffet was quite good with a wide range of food. Happy hour in bar 7 to 9 buy one get one free. Only a few minutes from old town and either beach Bath room spotless, towels changed each day. All in all excellent value for 4 star hotel Staff excellent, friendly, helpfull and all spoke good english

Just returned from a four day break to this hotel. The weather has been fabulous{which always helps and makes a place look better}but regardless of this we have had a wonderful time. The hotel is very nice, we had a room on the 7th floor{as requested} it was spotless and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool area lovely and clean. Good location for the old and new town. Food was of nice quality and plenty of choice, drinks at the bar good value. All in all a great place to stay and will definitely return.

My mother and I have just spent 3 Days at the Hotel Royal in Benidorm. First impessions were very good, reception staff courteous and professional. Room lovely, very clean and as I had requested a high floor was on the 8th floor, which was great. Food average, but there was always something that you could eat, good choice of salads, and very nice breakfast. newly opened hotel,rooms are excellent,food is fantastic and staff brilliant too.location from old town is only 200 mtrs away.we didnt use the pool but it looks great.this hotel is a must for benidorm old town fans.cant wait to return.

Stayed for a week full board at the Hotel Royal in April very clean Hotel nice food we had to go across the road to the Hotel Victoria for our lunch but that was no problem very nice food there as well, the hotel staff at the Royal was very friendly a nice bar area and not noisy it is in a very good position for the old town and the new town all in all a very good holiday

We were a bit worried as we (a mixed group of 9 over 40's) did not know anything about the Hotel Royal and could not find anything except for holiday brochure. Did ask on Trip Advisor, only one response, which was not brilliant!! Need not have worried, it was a brilliant location, by Pink Elephant, with Old Benidorm down road 5 mins, and with New Benidorm, Chaplins, Sinatras etc. just 10 mins walk! Hotel very very nice, spotlessly clean, and well looked after. Rooms very pleasant all with balconies. Food was very good indeed.... more

On arrival we felt the Royal looked pretty basic......it was. The room we had at the front was fine and kept clean. The food was like the entertainment, very very basic, nothing to write home about. We stayed at the start of Summer season so resort not at all rowdy. It was at a time when the "winter pensioners" were leaving and the youngsters beginning to arrive {but probably not to stay at the Royal}. All in all, for the price we paid, we cannot really complain. Go on, give it a try.
