Accommodation and location is a personal choice, so it depends what you are after. If it's a clean, friendly, safe, quiet oasis in puerto Del Carmen 250 meters from the beach then look no further, if it's a 5 star restaurant bustling nite life look elsewhere. As the title... more

went on holiday to these apartments in augest 15th for two weeks with my wife we will be going back next year it was brilliant staff are very nice and helpfull cleaners are brill at there work went to see elvis he was brill pool area is kept clean wat more can i say brilliant holiday ever joe from dublin ireland

I stayed at Park Tropical with my husband and 2 daughters 15 and 11 in July 2010. Had a great time apartments are very good, very central, clean and quiet. Would highly recommend and plan to go back in 2 years..

Apartments are in a good location, basic and clean, towels rather shabby but changed every other day, linen changed once in the week we were there. Our toilet was a bit loose and one of electric points in the bedroom didn't work. First impression was poor reception area... more

Arrived in Lanzarote and of course the airport facilities here are certainly are not 5 star, very basic. The transfere only takes about 10-15 minutes to Peurto del Carmen, so no complaints there. The apartments are located a block and a half from the main strip, right in the center of the resort. There is a uphill walk to them but it isnt that steep, easily done for us with a three year old in a buggy and a 10 month old in a sling. Me and my boyfriend (both 18yrs old) stayed at the Parque Tropical Apartments on the 2nd July for 2 weeks. Personally, I usually stay in 5 star accomodation- all inclusive, yet i found the standard of these apartments, and the overall care of the location along the same standards!! Awful noisy and apartment not as booked from Tenerifers
Our family of 2 adults, 15 and 10 year old girls were put in a 2+2 room (sofa bed !) that should have been suitable for 4 adults. We paid £260 extra for more space and did not get it. Our block had no aircon (the other block over smaller pool that is cold had aircon). We had building work on going from 7.30 am to 7.30pm and 8pm till 2.30pm Karaoke bar out backing on to our room in complex - it was awful we could not have the window open because it was too noisy. Stayed her for 7 nights in August. 2006 Accommodation was basic but very clean.Luckily we had a ceiling fan in our apartment but if you haven't you will need a portable fan as there is no air con. There are 2 swimming pools on a split level which get very busy during the day. Real problems with sun beds you really do have to get up early to reserve them. GOOD LOCATIONS from EYELASH
Stayed for two weeks at the beginning of September. Location very good. Must get a fan straight away as the rooms are very hot, you can get one from reception for a hire price or just down the road on the opposite side a shop sells them cheap. Netto opposite was o.k but the supermarket at the bottom was cheaper and had fresh baked goods. Our room was basic but the maids came every day to clean. Me and my girlfrend stayed at the Parque tropical for one week in August. We booked it through first choice but it was a thompsonfly package. When we arrived at the apartments we were given our key and directed to our apartment. Only to find the lock to the front door had been broken into as it was hanging off and looked as though someone had forced it open with a crow bar. My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic two week holiday at the Parque Tropical apartments. The complex is clean and well maintained and the apartments are very spacious and clean. Our apartment was at the front and our bedroom looked onto the road which got a little noisy later at night / early morning when people were staggering back to their hotels after a night on the booze, but if we shut the window it was ok. The location is excellent, it's just a short walk down the road to the beach, with lots of restaurants and bars very close by.
