Very happy with the Parque Tropical. Room was clean and spacious with everything you need on a self catering holiday. Grounds are well taken care of and staff are friendly and helpful. We went in October so wasnt to hot as no air con in our room just ceiling fans, not sure what it would be like mid summer. Overall would definately go back again though. Just think before booking tours through the tour operator as they were talked up to be much more than they actually were, explore by yourself!

had a week at the parque tropical apartments,me the wife & 2 friends,,absolutely brilliant,,although our friends had a slight problem with their room(No35)it was too secluded on the complex,,they had an attempted break-in & also a flood the one day,,which the staff sorted out in double quick time..well done to the staff and maintenance guys......

the apartments are everything you need for a self catering holiday/break,,with fridge microwave,, toaster,, hairdryer,,iron & ironing board,,so theres no need to bulk out your suitcases with items that are already there.....

the staff are excellent,,from the receptionists,,right through to the cleaners and maintenance staff,,who do a brilliant job in keeping your rooms tidy(5 x a week)and all around the pool area is cleaned ,,loungers tidied up every day....

this was our second visit to lanzarote and we loved it ..will be going back definately,,plenty of bars and restaurants to eat and drink,,with excellent food choices from the breakfast menu right upto evening meals,,old town is worth a visit too ,as it is not so lively, although pub entertainment was very good and food also,,spinnakers bar opposite is also worth a visit with great food and entertainment, plus its only over the road(not too far to go when you.ve had a few san miguels),,try and see the hypnotist show,,its awsome and mind blowing,,,special thanks to juan at the poolside bar,,nothings too much trouble for this guy,,,from serving ale to cooking great snacks,,,WELL WORTH A VISIT TO SUCH A GREAT ISLAND

PS,, GOT BACK TO THE UK 2 DAYS BEFORE OUR AIRLINE FOLDED (XL)WHICH IS A BIG SHAME CAUSE THEY TOO WERE VERY GOOD ,,IF WE HAD GOT STRANDED IN LANZAROTE WOULD,NT HAVE MINDED AT ALL,,SUCH A GREAT PLACE TO BE.....

Just back from a wonderful 2 wk holiday with family and friends, about 25 of us stayed in Parque Tropical, we were over for a wedding. Apartments were exactly what we wanted and needed, the pools were great excellent for kids and adults alike! Special mention to Juan who ran the pool bar, he was so good to the kids and nothing was ever too much for him. Staff in general were very pleasant and the apartments were very centrally located, would definately go back

stayed 4 1 week. our 2 kids (13 & 8) loved it. people really friendy. apts basic but cleaned everyday, had everything you wanted. food at the poolside bar was lovely and really reasonable. The barman was very good with the kids. There is a pool table and a free table tennis table also.have been to lanzarote 4 times but will definitly go back to these apts. Found the main strip to be a bit more expensive than previous years but if you travel a small bit off the main strip, the prices are very very good. found a really nice bar/resturant called Bottles, lovely and friendly.

Stayed at Parque Tropical Apts in July 08 - booked at last minute after reading previous reviews. Cannot fault these apartments at all - The location is fantastic for all ages, the apartment was very clean and had all that we needed. The only fault i can say is that there is not enough poolside beds! But there is always the beach. There is plenty to do in Puerto Del Carmen, we hired a car for a 3 days and travelled around the whole island, it was really nice. Cost of the car for 3 days was only €100 - excellent price as included everything.

There are plenty of nice places to eat - In the New Town

Indian Food - Jewel of the Nile - food was delious and really friendly staff

Chinese Food - New World

International - Mullingans - very very large portions (Irish Bar)

Mexican Food - Chicquoto

In the Old Town you must try Zafran Indian Resturant, beautiful food.

There is plenty of nightlife, We really liked the Tequila Bar - great music - but you will not be stuck as there is plenty of clubs to choose from. Chariles is also a great spot for Live music.

Will travel back to Parque tropcial apartments again for sure! You will not be disappointed with your stay!

Just back from a week at the Parque Tropical Apts in Puerto del Carmen. Apts are v. well equipped, although no air conditioning. Not too hot when we went but would imagine would be a bit stifling if hotter. Fan in bedroom and lounge just circulates the hot air.

There are 80 apts but when we were there there were only about 10 occupied, and if there were 8 people around the pool it was busy! It was like having your own private place. I dont think Thomson use this anymore (as per previous reviews) and there is no mini market on site, but 2 supermarkets across the road, so no need for one or the pool bar (which was rarely used) and although they advertised BBQ night and Paella making this didn't happen while we were there - I suspect through lack of interest. Our apt was on 1st floor and looked over the pool area - we had sun on balcony from midday to late evening so no need to go to pool to sunbathe

This is our 3rd time to Puerto, but we still found a couple of good new bars. The Barge Inn does entertainment each night, either a quiz, bingo or "Deal or No Deal", and the Ramblers Inn (just up the side road where MacDonalds is on the corner) is cheap and cheerful with good food and reasonably priced drinks. Run by Cath and Ian who are great.

All in all another great hols in Puerto and I would recommend these apartments for couples and families

I had an amazing time here, everything about it to me was fantastic! great location and staff, the rooms were spotless and cleaned regularly, pool was LOVELY. never used the onsite resturant, as we were so close to the bars and resturants on the main stretch of puerto del carmen.

I would definately recommend going on the dune buggy safari. that was brilliant.

i would recommend these apartments to everybody, the staff are amazing, everything is clean, it was lively and fun and extremely hot.

Brilliant week there in Oct, everything about complex was great, staff, cleaning, pool and bar. Would highly recommend a visit, make it two weeks though one is not enough. Also visit Drop Inn down the road and Mulligans around the corner great craic. Cant wait to go back, loads of walks and lovely beaches with plenty of other nightlife from the tranquil El MIRADOR to the new Christy Moore pub, to Murphys further up the town, ONE OF THE BEST HOLIDAYS WE HAVE HAD.

Just back from Parque Tropical Puerto del Carmen, our second time there this year.

We got a deal in February for the Parque Tropical our first time to stay there, we had a favourite place in Puerto del Carmen already but fell in love with Parque Tropical.

The apartment facilities are all you could want, no travel iron needed no renting toasters, kettles or fans all are supplied, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The place is very well maintained staff clean as they go around. Supermarket across the road and a small mini market in the apt's beside reception.

There is an Irish pub (The drop inn )just down the road with entertainment at night bookies during the day and fabulous food all through the day we eat their most times out of the two weeks we where there.

Do be aware if you get the local bus to the Sunday market, the last bus to leave is 2 o’clock we got caught out and had to get a taxi which cost 26euro so any bargains we got went on taxi fare.

Do take a trip to rancho Texas day or night shows they are fantastic and well worth the money. But overall we all love Lanzarote so we found our new favourite apt's Parque Tropical.

Just back from one week stay at Parque Tropical, cannot say enough about newly refurbished apartments, key rating should be upgraded definitely.

Lovely spacious apartments, spotless clean, lovely staff. Water in fridge when we arrived, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, hob, fridge freezer, cleaning every day. Air con. Free television; sun lounger on balcony. Fantastic.

You must visit the Spinaker Irish bar and restaurant across the road. Food is brilliant; staff are brilliant and great entertainment. We ate there all week, so much choice on the menu. Two main courses and drinks for €21. Mind the cocktails...they lace them!

Supermarket underneath bar with everything you need. There is also a mini market beside reception of apartments.

One of our cases never left Dublin and one of us were left with no clothes until the day before we came home, Sunway rep was useless, but the hotel receptionist made phone all the phone calls.

Would definitely go back to the Parque Tropical again.

Had a brilliant 2 weeks, the rooms were clean, comfortable. Reception staff were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The resort rep was brilliant, always had a word to say to everyone, young and old.

Having a split level pool, was fab. Never in the way of anyone. We mainly stayed by the top level pool.

It was brilliant to have a fridge freezer, with the extra fridge space you could fit the large water bottles with no problems.

Eating out you could have a different place every night, we tried several different places but ended up going back for the 2nd week to Pinocchio's the food fab and at a great price.

A fab holiday was had by all, just a shame that we had to leave.

Had fantastic holiday! Room was really clean and fresh towels every other day. Room right next to the pool which the kids loved.

Could of done with a lick of paint, but pool was cleaned every morning. Excellent location central for everything. Would recommend anyone to go there. Reception staff very helpful fulfilling all our needs.

We did have a leak in the bathroom which was fixed within 5 minutes of reporting problem. Lanzarote is a excellent place to take family and would definitely go back.

Just got back from Lanzarote and wow. We had the best time.

Location of complex is fantastic, everything is in walking distance. They are extremely clean and spacious, with a lovely swimming pool, quite chilling this time of year, but with the sun beating down on you all day it’s nice to take a dip.

No complaints at all, we had a fantastic time and will certainly be going back next year.

The apartments were clean and welcoming. the complex was minimal but perfect for a relaxing holiday which was why I went with my partner.

The location was great. two minute walk down hill to the main strip of restaurants and bars and shops.

Puerto Del Carmen was beautiful and scenic. We tried the submarine day trip which was great also.

The only downfall of the holiday was that we were only there for a week and it didn't feel long enough.

The complex had two swimming pools which varied depths throughout which suited different ages and it was clean.

Top holiday.
