These apartments are located just off the main street and within walking distance of the beach and a plethora of bars, shops and restaurants. Puerto Del Carmen is a good 15 minutes walk and if you do decide to walk, take a bottle of water! Although taxis are extremely cheap and only cost about £1.50! There is a local spar that sells everything which is just down some steps.
There is no regular reception but it is not a problem. The apartments are fantastic and very clean. The pool was very heavily used by our two boys aged 9 and 5 and although they were the only children there, it was not a problem for them or the other guests! The gardens are beautiful and the pool is cleaned daily.
The owners are perfect hosts and very friendly and our children played together. I could not fault this holiday and cannot wait to go back. One thing you must do is go to Timanfaya Park - it is breath taking.

Bandama Apartments are in a VERY quiet area just a few minutes walk from a small area of bars and shops with Playa Del Carmen a 30 minute walk away. Ideal for mature couples these small bungalows are tucked away from the everyday normal "holiday" apartments and hotels. There is no bar, barely a reception to speak of and no piped music. TV has to be paid for and the pool is cold! We loved it - its a great peaceful base from which to enjoy a relaxing quiet holiday. Do not take children - they would hate it!
There is a Spar just a few minutes walk away that has everything you need to enjoy a drink on your private terrace before strolling off along the beach to dinner. The apartments are basic but clean, the kitchen could be better equipped but its OK for making a cup of tea and toast. If you want a get away from the crowd place to stay whilst still being close to civilisation you could do worse than chose Bandama apartments. Enjoy!

When i read other reviews I wondered if they were of the same complex. I have just had to make a complaint in order to get my room cleaned. The towels have holes and stains from previous use. Duvets have been left without duvet covers, I am told that because I have a sheet i do not need a duvet cover. The cooker hob decided to collapse to one side and after three days i am still waiting for it to be fixed. Basic needs like toilet rolls have to be asked for. All I can say is GOOD LUCK to anyone embarking on a holday at this complex, I certtainly will not be returning!!
