there was 5 of us stayed at the eden apartments and i must say they were very clean and comfy, every thing you need the grounds and gardens were beautiful and well kept, entertainment at the pool was very good so is the barbacoa in the europa centre excellent entertainment, meals were delicious at the pool side we enjoyed everything about our stay would definatly go back and would reccommend it, amadores beach is beautiful.

These apartments are great value for money. Our apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for a self catering holiday.
Cockroaches - As with all hot countries cockroaches are to be expected. We did have some in our room as they could get in under the front door and seemed happy to stay unless sprayed. However this spray was available at reception.
Pool - this was amazing, a little chilly on occasion but just what you needed after baking in the sun.
Food - food in the pool bar was really tasty and well priced. Get down there for happy hour each day from 5 aswell.
The apartments are also on top of a cliff so it is a resonable wander down to amadores beach and to reach puerto rico beach i recommed a taxi.
The apartments also have no air con - only a ceiling fan in the bedroom and the living area which really made little difference.

Hi me,my sister, my mum and my dad all went and we thought it was amazing the hotel is very clean and people are saying theres a cocroach problem, well its not the apartments fault you get them every where in the canary islands the reception and barstaff were so friendly and what can i say about crazy cheryl and bubbly bex they are absolutley fantastic entertainers and the night time shows were great and i dont know were we would be without kidzone the reps and the activities were amazing and if you have georgia porgia, bouncin becky and jumpin jac's you are so luck because they are so friendly and the were so nice to me . i would recomend this holiday for absolutley "anyone!

Just back from 2weeks in the Eden apartments and had a great time. The apartments must have been refurbished as they were very clean and not tired looking as people have stated.
Yes they do have a cockcroach problem. At night they are everywhere and we had about 6 in our room over 2 nights. Just go2 reception and ask for spray and spray it all over your windows, doorways etc and problem solved. Did not see any for the rest of our 2week holiday.
Food at pool bar was nice. Staff very friendly. English spoken woman on reception who is very helpful.
We didnt go into the Europa centre very much but did have a meal 2nights there but too quiet for us young one's. We headed to the commercial centre most nights which was 3.80euro in taxi so was fine but if you are going down there every night then over 2weeks it does cost.
Amadores beach is amazing although the walk down is about 25mins which is fine but coming back is about an hour as its so steep and very hard in the hot weather.
Had a great time and would recommend the Eden apartments to anyone.

EDEN is the best i love it is is so coll and also really clean i love it so much the pool was quite deep but there was a shallow part for the kids and the pool side bar is really nice aswell lol i hope my review requires you to go there i thnk you will thouroughly enjoy it i did the only bad thing about it is the cockroaches they turn me and we were on the bottom floor but they were soon crawling away it was a really nice place

My family and i went to the Eden on the last week of may first week or june. What can i say , my teenage girl loved it, the Pool is absoloutly specktacular and the adults sunroof.. you get the sun very strong up there its great for a tan , we stayed here a week and came back wanting to go again. We are returning again this year for the four time. The rooms are basic but its a really pretty place, the flowers around the apartments are lovely. inside the apartments as i say is basic but worth the money, bright and clean what more do you want? As for the cockroaches the only time you seen them is if your walking down the mountain to the center, the aparments have none as the cleaning service was great. They speak very good english and make you feel welcome. Definatly reccomend this to absoloutly everyone.

Stayed at the eden with my partner and 2 children. Apartments were clean and maids came in almost every day. Think they had sundays off. Kids club is fantastic and i couldnt get my youngest child out of there.
Food in the pool bar was of a wide-ish variety and we enjoyed a couple of teas there on nights when we were all too tired to venture any further.
I didnt see any cockroaches or ants but people in the ground floor apartments did. The kitchens could be better equipped but they were sufficent for us as i wasnt plannin on cooking too much really. breakfast mainly.
While i was there maintenance men were out and about touching up the property and the staff are all very helpful. I had a problem with my electric one night - it tripped out and a man came and fixed it straight away..
There is always plenty of hot water and a small supermarket onsite. There is also the nearby europa centre for restaurants etc..
Amadores beach is amazing and is a 25 min walk downhill or 3 euro in one of the many taxis- although be warned get your seatbelts on before shutting the doors or they will just drive off and drive fast..

I'd read loads of reviews on Eden Apartments before we went and had to write my own because Eden is fabulous! I don't know why people say it's not clean when it is very clean. We went Feb 09 and were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment for no apparent reason.... we noticed they were doing the apartments up and looks like the old colour scheme is blue walls but ours was painted white. The staff at the hotel who do the entertainment, work in the bar and on reception etc are all really helpful and friendly. We had days of 22 degrees and a couple of cloudy days with intermittent sun. Chilly evenings. Great park for the kids. HEATED OUTDOOR POOL - although shallow point of pool is still 1.2m - it could do with a slope going into it. Cleaners came 5 out of 7 days, towels changed twice. Plenty of sunbeds. Paying for umbrellas is only if you want one on your own balcony, not by the pool where they are free. Matresses for the sunbeds weren't necessary anyway and cost one euro a day. TV was one euro an hour, so we didn't use it but had our portable dvd player and loads of kids dvds for them anyway so didn't need it. Happy hour nicely coincided with Bingo hurrah! BOGOF in the bar, fab. Treasure Hunt in the afternoons for kids, also diving comps and water polo type comps in afternoon. Entertainment really good and laid on by hotel, we one 3 bottles of bubbly with the quiz and raffle. Karaoke every night 11-12 if people wanted it. Also did X factor night with guests taking part and judges etc really good fun. Blues brothers night good etc. entertainment was 10-11pm. Kids entertainment was 8.30-9.30, disco, reptile show etc etc. Our 5 year old son loved the Kids clubs

we,ve just returned on the 2 feb, after a month at the eden apartments. we had one of our best holidays. the staff were so friendly .the food in the restuarant was excellant.the entertainment was very good and varied.{the acrobats were amazing also guitarist chris mooney.the place is at the top of the europa centre which was just across the road. we walked most days down to amordoras beach and along the front to puerto rico.my husband being 84 years old,managed the walk with ease.everyone we met was so friendly.pensioners aswell as familys will have a great time.we only see to cockroaches and they were both dead.and that was on a footpath.so dont worry about them. our apartment was so clean. and the maid sevice was first class .would we go there again YES WE WOULD.
