Just got back (sept 2010)fromEden & currently booking for next yr! Lovely location & views. Staff were lovely espically chiro & jamie. Entertainment everynight was brill. would highly recomend watching the Tramps & cleaning & dreaming ladies well there! The appartments were imaculate & cleaned everyday. Swimming Pool was cleaned daily.
Food at the bar was lovely & fairly cheap.
Happy hr at the bar everyday always a bonus!

Stayed at the Eden Apartments in May/June 2010, and had a marvellous time. The staff were extremely friendly and the apartments, although basic were cleaned 5 days out of the 7. We can honestly say we never saw a cockroach when we were there. I would not hesitate to book the Eden Apartments if staying in Gran Canaria again ... the one thing that did spoil our holiday though was the restaurant touts at the Europa Centre and down in Puerto Rico itself .. they were relentless and made us want to stay in the hotel for dinner, this was the biggest revelation of the holiday .... the restaurant at the Eden was the best place to eat !!! I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Just returned from staying at eden for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed it.The rooms are kept really clean and staff are really freindly.I had a fall while i was there and cut my head open,and the staff couldnt do enough for me.The kids loved the pool and were never out of it,the only downside was there was'nt enough sunbeds so you had to be down really early to get one.the entertainment was good and jamie the compare was brilliant with the kids and really freindly.we're already looking to book again for next year...cant wait to go back.x

Recently returned from two week stay at the Eden. 14/06/10 - 28/06/10. Apartments themselves were basic but spotless. Maid everyday with fresh towels and bedding. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. Stunning views from the hill towards Amadores Beach. Very close to Europa Centre.
Entertainment is also very good during day as well as through the night. The Eden barbacue on a Sunday is fabulous. Only low point was number of children at the apartments, if this does not bother you, it's ideal.
Jamie, the kids entertainment rep is also good, poolside activities on a daily basis.
Rooms are basic, but you get a kettle, toaster and a microwave. Also have fans in each main room.
Somedays was difficult to get a lounger next to pool if not up early. Balcony's are extremely large, fabulous to sunbathe on.
Would definately go back to these wonderful apartments.

This is the first time we stayed at the Eden as we have been coming for many years. I have a 2 year old son and shared a 2 Bed appartment with my Mother and Father. We didnt book through Thompson as we wanted the freedom to come and go as we please which meant my boy was not allowed to join in the daily activities at the kids zone, but he was happy as we ventured out most days and when we were in the appartment we had great privacy to sit outside. The appartment was spotless when we arrived and the cleaners came in 5 days a week to mop and change towels, they were so polite and friendly, they always rang the bell and we had a sign to put on the door if we didnt want to be disturbed, they just hung a bag of towels on the door. The night life was great, parrot shows, magic, karaoke, my son loved it and 'Bingo' was just great. I would highly recommend this to anyone and i have already booked for next year.

We stayed at the eden apts on 20th may for two weeks three adults and one child the apts are very basic and small but there was always constant hot water,maids very friendly.We saw about six cockroaches during our stay(six too many for me,they freak me out).All the staff were very very friendly and could not do enough for you.The entertainment was also great as was the kids club.If you have problems walking then the eden is not for you as you are about as high up as you can get(sat on the sun is one way to describe it)you can get taxis to the town centre for about 3 euros but this does mount up over your stay.We did walk it a few times there and back nearly killed us but at least we nearly died laughing.I would reccommend hiring a car as there is some lovely towns to explore Maspalomas being one of them.You will see touts trying to get you to have a tour of the Anfi beach resort in return for 40 euros,we did this but through our rep which turned out to be a nice morning they were;nt pushy or anything and we got to stay at the resort for the rest of the day and we got our 40 euros that paid for our water park tickets which is another great day out.So all in all a great holiday,what the eden lacks in comfort and luxury the food,staff and entertainment more than make up for it.

just back from the eden had a great time there ..the only down side was parents letting there kids run riot at the play area...we have a 3 year old girl who we had to watch like a hawk because the older kids were running up the slides when she was trying to get down... i had to tell them a few times to let her down....had a geat time though.. would recomend it to anyone....

we have just come back from 2 weeks holiday well what can i say had an amazing time Jamie the entertainer was brill, Mitchel the bar manager was fab, we read some reviews before we went so was bit worried about going as some were bad comments, dont listen to them we had a great hols and we will tell anyone if they want a great holiday to go here, we will be returning, all staff very friendly,kids club staff very good with the kids, only a 2 min walk to get to the Europa centre and about a 10 minute walk down lots of steps to Peurto rico,taxis very cheap if you dont want to walk, we loved it...x

Went there in the end of may, early june (throughout half term) with my extended family of 20 with many children of all ages. it was thouroughly enjoyed by all of us with great entertainment and DJ. accomidation is basic occasionaly seeing a cockroach but you see these throughout Puerto Rico. Great amenaties situated near supermarket, europa centre etc. 2 beaches near, both gorgeous with watersports being in puerto rico. A huge variety of activities around the place for everyone. Bar staff extremly friendly with great food served there and in europa centre. I was relly worried with all the reviews saying it was a disaster, but i had an amazing time. I would sugest talking over snack foods are these are quite costly but everything else is pretty cheap. The poolside had a great atmosphere and lots of water activities throughout the day for all ages. I would definately return and would advise any family to visit!
