The Puerto Plata would be in position 2 in my top 3 holidays that I have ever had, it is situated half way up the right hand side of the hill close to everything. I would recommend walking down the hill, but get a taxi back for the price of 3 euros. We met the only English... more

This is probably one of the best holidays I have ever had. The resort had plenty of entertainment, was well kept and a good pool. It was in the middle of the two main centres, so day or night everything was close at hand. With so much on offer, water parks, restaurants,... more
