I thought this hotel lived up to every minute of the reviews I have red about. Food was good at the snack bar beside pool area, bar in apartments was good friendly staff which is a good thing, close to everything, hardly any noise from hard rock cafe.
Also food from there is out of this world, 5 - 10 minute walk to beach, taxi back from beach cost about €2.70 Thomson rep was great best rep I have ever had, she was at the hotel every morning for us if we had any inquiries, wish I was still there.
Definitely go back to Gran Canaria, Playa Del Ingles, Buenos Aires apartments hopefully sooner rather than later!

Just got back and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful, The hotel is spotless clean. The hotel bar is a great place to round off an evening out. The pool was cleaned every day so was our room.
The hard rock cafe was not noisy and the meals there are first class. The only thing that woke us up where the road sweepers each morning but I can live with that.
The hotel is within a 5 to 10 min walk from any of the bars and the same form the beach, it is right next door to the Yumbo but you could never hear any noise. I would go back again.

This accommodation was great for the price we paid for it. Very central location. right in front of Yumbo center and walking distance to Kasbah, Irish and British centers and only five minutes from the beach.
Do not be put off by the reviews saying it may be noisy as its not. we were on the first floor and we heard zero noise from the hard rock cafe except for one afternoon when a troop of around 50 Bikers turned up with very loud engines.
Hotel drinks prices were cheaper than the bars around and the food in the restaurant was good value for money. I recommend you give these apartments a try.

I was going to book this hotel but was put off by the below review. Why I ask myself?
Firstly, the trademark Guitar is almost half the height of the block! Yes, it is big but half the height must have shrunk and it looks good on a night.
Secondly, playing Hard Rock music the whole time they are open and the music in Hard Rock Cafe is known to be played loud!
We walked passed at different time's during the day from 8am till 4am and loud music? There was more noise from the people eating in the cafe then there was from the music? At 4am you couldn't hear a thing apart from the grass hoppers.
The actual hotel looked smart tidy and new. Wish we had stayed here, will be next time!

28 September 2005 Buenos Aires Apartments – Playa del Ingles – Great apartment block. Complete re-furbish completed Early 2004. Well fitted with microwave, 2 spot halogen hob. Lovely gardens and pool with a Jacuzzi next to the pool. Staff are good and helpful but very busy so may not always be smiling !!
We have stayed there 3 times in the past year and would go again – HOWEVER…….. We have just returned from a two week break and feel we must advise that there is a new HARD ROCK CAFÉ opening on 1 October 2005 beside and underneath the Buenos Aires Apartments. The trademark Guitar is almost half the height of the block !!!
The main patio/ terrace bar, using only umbrellas for cover, to the left of the entrance to Buenos Aires, seating 100 people, will be open from 12 noon until the bar itself closes at 23:00 to 00:00, then the club downstairs underneath the Buenos Aires Apartment block will open until 05:00 or 06:00 or until the police come and shut it down for the night. The patio/ terrace bar on the ground floor will stay open until the main club closes……… being used as a ‘rest area’ for the clubbers in the nightclub.
Both ‘bars’ will be playing HARD ROCK music the whole time they are open and the music in HARD ROCK CAFÉ is known to be played LOUD !!!!. This information was given to me by the promoter of the club who was there in the club when I went for a look-round. He told me that he has already opened HARD ROCK CAFÉ in Madrid and Barcelona and is very pleased indeed that Playa del Ingles is to be his third. I would advise all people who have already made bookings to contact their holiday for confirmation and an update on this project. Hasta luego mis compadres !!! (Reading)
