fantastic food rooms pools and staff so helpfull would go back

got back on the 10th of june,
let me start by saying the Animation team were great, for anyone aged 12 to 40+ and there are other clubs for younger,
the food is the best i have ever had in a 4*
free bus runs nearly every hour witch is great,
good clean rooms,
would and most licky will return

I got back from Akti Club Hotel On saturday 28th august and i loved it i want to go back. Everyday there was a different acctivity going on for all ages there was always something for you to do the Animation Team made the holiday for me, i am only 14 and the team always got you involved in the sports that were going on, they are always around the hotel for you to have a laugh with and they are always smiling and they never ever ignored anyone, the entertainment in the evening suieted everyone there was alway a kids disco in the evening before the main show started so none of the smaller children felt left out, the food in the restaurant was abit repetitive but was still nice, The rooms got cleaned everyday by maids and were in good condition, the hotel was only a 10 minute drive to the main shopping villiage Kardamena and we always took the free shuttel bus there and back and it was always on time. So overall the holiday was great and i loved every minute of it and i would highly recomended it to anyone thinking of going. :)

returned from this holiday in oct 2009.....was not told this is the last week of the season and the hotel and island shut down for 5months :-0

nice food-pizza/chinese made on request and pancakes made on request later in the evening usually around 11pm, soup is not always as its labled!!
last day no water, for 2days water was dirty/brown and smelly!!
no entertainment except a kids disco for 1 hour on 2nights of the whole week we stayed there but may of been because it was last week of the season!3/4 of the town closed prob same reason as poor entertainment!
half hour walk to town/nearest shops-most were close due to time of year!!
only 2 pools open and only 1 of the pools had a bar open for the week we were there
room was lovely had a small fridge to keep water ect in- was drinking water taps around the resort 2 fill bottles
no childrens club as advertised in travel agents
park- VERY UNSAFE
didn't see holiday ref once after the welcome meeting!!
games room near the bar for children, not great but kept them entertained!!
24hour coffe/tea facilities in reception area
cleaners-great...a glass broke 1 nite and wivin a blink a cleaner was clearing the mess up and rooms were always spotless apart from my son wet the bed 1 nite and sheets were not changed luckly we had a share bed in our room so he slept in that and we put sheets by front door and they were taken away and clean 1's put back on the next day!

i went on this holiday with 21 people!!! aged between 2 years old and 58 years old! it rained all week we only had 1 nice day but obviously thats not the hotels fault hence why i havnt let that effect my rating! i think we were very unlucky as were not told half the resort/island would be closed but i do believe in peak season this would be a lovely hotel to stay in! i hope my review helps, would not recommend anyone go in oct though!! x

Returned from Club akti last weekend. We were five adults, and were looking forward to the activities like water aerobics, archery and club dances. We had read previous reviews and checked out the hotels web page to what we could expect. We were dissapointed; the activities mentioned were not available. The hotel closes at the end of October, and only two of the animation team were left during our second week. We had been tole that there had been 16 animators earlier on in the season!
The choice of food was really good during our first few days stay, and then the cut backs became evident. One couple wanted Chinese food one evening and were told that they were not cooking anymore, that was one hour before the restaurant was due to close! Same applied to the pizza! The snack bar food was put out at 10.30am and if it wasn't eaten it stayed there until 6pm! Where it shrivelled up, and was contaminated by several wasps.
There were three really good pools some distance apart, but the pool bars and pergolas were closed!
Free bus timetable changed without warning, leaving much fewer options!
The entertainment was not good, apart from one night in the amphitheatre, then that closed down. Mosquitoes were a big problem; this may have been because there was so much standing water in the garden areas.
The staff was excellent, except the restaurant manager, he didn’t have any communication skills!
Rooms were clean and towels changed frequently. Pancakes late evening were really nice; mind you I heard that they were being stopped after last weekend.
Overall disappointed after seeing the videos on trip advisor, we know what we missed out on. Would only consider going back to this hotel in peak summer

just got back from akti beach what a holiday everything about it was perfect , hotel staff are so friendly and helpfull ,the rooms where cleaned everyday pool was cleaned twice a day the food was to die for especialy the lamb and greek dishes ,nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. although the beach was shingle it wasnt a problem just take some beach shoes ,oh my husband has told me not to forget to mention the pancakes breakfast and supper yum, we will definately be going back to this one

There is absolutely NOTHING to complain about at this hotel! The pool was cleaned twice a day, the rooms were very good, cleaned well every morning (Though the cleaner comes round quite early) and the entertainment team were the best i've ever seen!!! Definately keep a look out for chantelle and Darren, the two funniest and hyperactive people i have ever seen. There are activities all through the day, its impossible to get bored.
The food was top notch. Chineese, italian, greek, english, whatever you wanted, they had. Also, they had a pergola buffet on that they put out straight after breakfast and they keep topping up so nothing runs out. The drinks are also very good, I would reccomend the blue lagoons, and the san fransisco's. Overall, this hotel is amazing. The beach is more shingle than sand, but that doesn't matter as there are plenty of things to make up for it.

We went in the last week in June for 2 weeks. Myself, partner and my 16 year old daughter. The rooms were quite small, salty water from the taps, mosquitos, non english tv, but we wernt there for the room, we were there for the sun ! The pool was lovely with piped music all the time. The entertainment at the pool was great ! The pool bar was excellent including Alexandre the barman...so polite. The food in the restaurant catered for everyone...pizzas cooked in front of you, chicken breasts,pork,steak,kebabs,chinese food lots of it, and of course the greek food and salads.Lager and wine on tap as much as you want. Dont let the Italians and French push in front of you in the queue for food if there is one.Pancakes at night and in the morning, very organised restaurant with clean tables all the time.Kiddies entertainment at 7.30pm. Entertainment at night in the theatre after 10pm outside was sooooo good, the staff worked really hard ,and a disco at 12am.Evening bar at the theatre needed 2 bar persons there were large queues.Free pedaloes and canoes on the beach,other watersports available. Use the free coach to Kardamena , lots of bars and shops there.Take advantage of the free shots with your drinks, apple sour is nice. At 12am in Kardamena all the pubs close due to the locals who live in the town.There are a few clubs there to go to afterwards.

This hotel was brilliant. Just came back and we all thought it was great. All the staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Plenty of variety of food which was very good. Free bus into Kardamana evry night. It takes about 30 mins to walk there. The animation team made the holiday much easier and were very friendly. Great activities throughout the day. Beach is a bit shelly but plenty of things to do there eg. pedal boats banana boats volley ball etc. Three lovely pools. Annex seamed very nice and quiet and a great place to have a drink in the evening. Rooms basic but nice.Hot but windy when we went so it was pleasent to sit in.Not many Brits mainly belgium and dutch people there. If you have booked here its a great choice and will have a great time

This really is a fantastic hotel,all the staff are very friendly, and work extremely hard.
The food is fantastic, even if you are the most fussy eater.My wife and I where both celebrating our fiftieth birthdays, and the restaurant staff presented us with a cake on our birthday.The only fault I could say about this holiday is the location of the hotel, as a previous review mentioned it is just too far to walk to town especially with the temperatures reaching the forties.
The rooms are basic but very comfortable.Take a stroll along the beach to big Micks bar its only a five minute walk, and it is a lovely family run bar right on the sea front.
Just a quick mention for the bar staff Alex at the pool bar always has a smile for everyone. and the 2 ladies in the main bar work so hard, and are always friendly, don't forget to leave them a tip, they deserve it.Also the animation team may not be the greatest entertainers in the world, but they certainly work long and hard and put on some really good shows, watch Grease really good fun.
