When we arrived in Lloret de Mar, we got a cab but the cab couldn't drop us off at the hotel as the roads were too narrow, we had to walk with our luggage and two small children. It took about 20 mins for us to even find the hotel!
When we finally arrived we were shown to our room but it was hard to get to as there was a lift but still lots of stairs we had to walk up which was no good for us as we had a pram. The room itself was basic with 5 beds, a cot and a TV that didn’t work. The view from our room was of another building and there was no balcony or terrace. I would rate the room with a 4 out of ten but the hotel over all only a 3. We went full board which was a mistake as the food seemed to be nearly the same every day, including lunch and dinner. It was ok but a bit boring.
It says that the hotel is near the beach and it is, you just have to cross a few roads. but Lloret de Mar is a lovely place and I would definitely go back but not to the Caribe hotel, it was no good for children and it had no activities at all for adults or children.

we arrived after one night in the Gorgeous Roger De Flor so anything after that was a comedown.
However the reception staff were friendly and helpful and changed our room for us as the first one stank of smoke. on a good day you could see the sea if you leaned out the window, ignoring the closeness of the rooms opposite, but im quite nosy so it didtn bother me.
As we were both able bodied getting up and down the small lifts was not a problem , just at night the dopey english girls flounced in at all hours furious because they had got turned down by some lad. They were the worst thing about the place.Bathroom and room clean and everything worked, it was mouldy weather while we were there though and little entertainment unless you were a german teenager. the place was full of them.
The food was edible, and incredibly creative how the cold meats from breakfast could be turned into fricassee somethings for the dinner, at 15 euro a night each we got our moneys worth. Watch out for the dining room dictator he is a scream.
