Vista Playa 1 & 2 Apartments

The Vista Playa 2 apartments are low rise around a small but adequate pool in an attractive setting. Our party included two young children who loved playing in the pool more than going to the beach.
The resort of Cala Blanca isn't much to write home about I'm afraid. The restaurants are aimed fair and square at the typical brit abroad; chips with everything and no authentic Spanish cuisine to be seen. Ciutadella offers more in this respect.
The beach itself looks the part but when you get close up its covered in discarded cigarette ends which have to be cleared away before letting the kids loose on the sand with their buckets and spade. We dug a hole filled it with water and about ten floated to the top. Made me feel a bit queasy!
In short we loved the accomodation but wish we could move it somewhere a bit nicer.

hi have just returned from the vista playa 2 apartments in cala blanca. lovely spacious groundfloor 2 bed apartment. there are only 6 apartments and 2 seperate villas on this complex around a pool, very quiet area.one warning they are not next to the vista playa 1 apartments as we thought..if you book your own transfers get taxi to drop you off at the hotel sagittario as that is where you have to book in to get your keys, and then you have to cross the road and a very short walk to the apartments. you can hire a safe at the hotel as there are not any in the apartments, we found it ok you can go to your safe 24 hours a day.you can also use the hotel restaurant if you like just turn up and pay on arrival.we had a nice breakfast at the vista playa 1 apartments, one of the cheapest around.the chinese restaurant next door to vista playa 1 was disgusting, we had to send pork back twice as it was uncooked. dannys bar in cala blanca was very nice some comfy chairs to sit on, and very nice cocktails and irish coffee. there is also a nice restaurant called sa quadra in santandria, it is in a cave.also some nice restaurants in the small cove of cala blanca. we booked this holiday with on the beach never had any problems will use them again.

loved the area the accomidation was lovely spotlessly clean everything you need like bath towels hand towels fridge freezer iron ironing board lovely dinning area with a sofa bed chair coffee table and unit with portable tv, twin beds in both rooms lots of wardrobe space and drawers to put clothing ect,
the resort i found to have lots of english people working there the residents where very friendly, the beach is spotless , and a sun trap. buses run frequantly to cittridella there is a irish bar and the vista playa hotel has entertainment every night its lovely for a family or a couple just wanting a relaxing holiday

I and my family have stayed at this hotel nine times and each time have had a great time.
small and friendly, very clean. great resort and nice beach. good size pool.

Had a really nice time staying in these apartments, staff very friendly and rooms very clean.
The food at Vista Playa is good value for money and has a good menu. There is a strip of about 8 pubs/places to eat about a 5 minute walk and the beach is even closer in the other direction.
I would recommend anyone looking to relax and have a quiet holiday to these apartments. Not really for young lively couples or singles.
Looking forward to going back to Menorca.

My wife and I risked an allocation upon arrival for the first time and what a delightful surprise we had. When we arrived at the airport we were offered an 'upgrade' by the tour rep. We are so glad that we declined or we would never have discovered this gem on the island. The transfer from the airport was anxious as we stopped at a couple of places that really were not for us, then we heard our names called out in this lovely area just outside the city.
Vista Playa 1 is just perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday, and we could not find fault with anything. The accomodation was lovely and clean, as were the bar/restaurant and pool area. Not only is the food excellent value for money, it is also superb. All the staff were very polite, helpful and good-humoured and we cannot thank them enough for helping us to have such a wonderful holiday.
Cala Blanca is a lovely area and provides everything you need for a self catering holiday, and with Ciutadella just a short bus ride away there is plenty to see and do, even for non-sunworshippers like us.
I suppose the best compliment we can give the Vista Playa is to say that we were so disappointed that we had only booked for one week. We are already looking forward to going there again. It won't suit those seeking a lively resort, but we thought it was just perfect.

We booked this holiday via the Cosmos website. The whole process was great.
If you want a holiday where you can just chill out, this is the one for you. The Vista Playa 2 is a small complex with 2 villas and 6 apartments with its own pool.
You can use the pool at the Hotel Sagitario which is 100m up the road. The Staff are excellent. We reported our toilet was not working and it was fixed the next day. We could not wish for a better holiday.
If you want lively bars and nightlife, then sorry, it's not here. But it was great to just take life in a slow approach and get laid back for once.
The apartments are close to restaurants and family oriented bars. There are 2 small supermarkets nearby.
For a great meal try Sa Quadra, it's great!!
I would come back again to this resort again.

Just returned from a week long break at the Vista Playa apartments in Menorca. Went with my sister and elderly mum. The resort itself was fantastic!
The beach was a 2 minute walk and was absolutely beautiful!
Food in the Vista was fantastic, the staff were excellent Juan was such a character, laughed more in the week we were there than ever before.
The apartments were great everything you needed for a self catering holiday. Great evening entertainment. Would recommend this holiday for anyone wanting a romantic break or a peaceful holiday in a beautiful setting.
Only downside was that I didn't take my husband, but will return later this year.

Just returned from a long weekend in Menorca with 3 friends. Our deal was an allocation on arrival and we were pleasantly surprised to be allocated in Vista Apartments.
The staff were very friendly, nice clean rooms & the beach 2 minute away. It was my first package holiday as I usually like to plan my own trips, value for money was outstanding, and we all had an amazing time.
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place as a base to explore the island (there are amazing beaches to see!) this is the perfect place. It's also only 10 minutes by bus away from Ciutadella which is well worth visiting; the sun set on the port is beautiful. Do bear in mind that Cala Blanca is very quiet, maybe not everyone cup of tea.
