Subur Hotel

This hotel doesn't have much to offer other than the incredible location, right across the street from the beach. Make sure to check your bed. I ended up with a sharp spring sticking out of the mattress and because the housekeeping staff had left for the day, they were unable to do anything about it. Ouch!

Fantastic location just opposite beach & right beside shops and restuarants... staff very friendly.. rooms clean & basic.. get a room with balconey if you can otherwise would be very hot! But the noise at night and at the weekends is unbearable. Very gay friendly.

I can't believe that the authors of the other reviews stayed in the same hotel as me, and when I see the website photo's of a typical bedroom, I question whether they of from the Hotel Subur. Once I had left the reception area (which is okay but much smaller than the photo depicts), and travelled by lift to the third floor, I found myself in a gloomy corridor which resembled a youth hostel rather than a 3 star hotel. Great location right of the beach and next to entertainment area. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were decent.

Stayed at Hotel Subur for 10 nights because the rooms were 40 Euros per night cheaper than Hotel Calipolis where we stayed last year. While the hotel itself is not noisy, there is a constant parade of noise outside the hotel especially late at night. If it isn't music pulsating from the nearby clubs, it's cars honking mercilessly when someone is trying to back into a parking spot on the narrow street. Booked for six nights, stayed only four in order to get some sleep. Dreadful hotel. Noisy from either drunks passing or cars until about 6am, then you get two hours sleep. Maid did not come for two days. Breakfast consisted of dirty tables, no cups, no glasses, no juice. Absoluteley dreadful.

Great location right on the beach and especially as the week we were there deifed the British weathermen and was gorgeous pleasing my sunworshipping girlfriend no end. We had a 4 person room which was a godsend as I don't know where we would have put my girlfriends clothes, shoes and bags (packed for a round-the -world cruise - women). The Subur is right in t he heart of Sitges, above the Sports Bar. Front facing rooms have agreat sea view with balcony. Rooms are large, very clean and comfortable and the hotel is reasonably priced (we paid 70e for a double in April and booked through Room Advice Service who are based in Sitges and are very helpful). Breakfast served downstairs in the sports bar was excellent and was included in the price of the room. The hotel is next door to a busy restaurant so I think it would be noisy in peak season - but great for spring and autumn.

Our group of 6 stayed at Hotel Subur for three nights. The best rates are available by booking directly through the hotel website. The best seaside view is available in Room 405. Although we booked double rooms with twin beds, the beds varied. Our friends were stuck with an incredibly small room with a double bed. This hotel is located right on the beach. Great location! Breakfast was the standard European buffet style. The hotel parking lot fit a maximum of 30 cars. We parked in a parking garage two blocks away for 18 Euros... more

Excellent value for money!! The rooms were fine and a cleaner came in daily to change the towels etc., The hotel is not even a stones throw from the beach and although we went in February the weather was great. There is a beer festival from 3 to 9 of Feb and it is to celebrate the end of lent. The carnival is similar to those in brazil at Rio and more than 350,000 people descend on the town.
