This is a very nice hotel very clean and at least 4* we went in the first week of the season and unfortunately not everything was open. The food was nice but often cold, pork is a must because it’s on everyday.
This is mainly a German based hotel so be warned in my opinion the rest of us there was just to make the numbers up but hey this might change as the season gets into swing, the entertainment team are all German and favour their own people obviously, I had a full body massage which was nice but hey yes you have guessed it she was German too and we didn't understand each other. The lager is nice but as for the rest there is not much to choose from, all the bar staff are friendly and were quite quick but it wasn’t that busy so this may change.
The hotel is in two parts with a road dividing them this is not that bad to cross trust me, the lower part is next to the sea and this is the main part, the restaurant and main bars and entertainment are here, this is mainly the German half of the hotel, the upper newer half of the hotel as the best pool, bar staff and by far the best views from the rooms they are beautiful.
This hotel is just lacking a few minor things to make it top notch but like I say things may change as the season hots up. All in all we had a nice stay and enjoyed our week there.

Our room, (in the new block) smelt like an ashtray. The bed linen was filthy and stunk of cigarettes. I must say it was changed quickly after complaining. The room was adequate but not particularly clean. The all inc drinks system was a laugh. The drinks were like water and you had to pay for extras like tonic water! The swimming pools were good even though you were plagued with wasps, but inside the pool bar was another plague. Flies! Everywhere. Reception management was a laugh, you were lucky if you could find someone. The manager was constantly in the gym and usually appeared in trackies and sweaty t shirt dripping. He was one of the fortunate ones to use the facilities because my appointments for the Spa were either cancelled or not available.
The road to the old building for the restaurant was like the M62.
The food was adequate, but boring, keep well away from salads as they were near the exit to the dining room and buzzing with flies. on only two occasions were we fortunate enough to find a clean set table, the rest of the time we had to clear a table and set it ourselves. The menu was very limited for young children, my grandson lived on Spag Bol.
Water Sports! What water sports? The first week they weren’t available, but were the second week. (something to do with the children being half term).
About one quarter of the staff were helpful and friendly the rest were extremely rude. Entertainment made me cringe! The animation team played music around the beach pool not I might add suitable for young children’s ears. The expletives in their choice was disgusting. When approached they didn’t seem to care. And finally, the ice cream saga, I heard more arguments about the silly rule of ice cream served between 4 and 5 and then none left after 20 minutes, ridiculous!

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 night stay and overall would recommend this hotel. However there were a few minor points which need to be improved.
We stayed in the "new" part of the hotel which had very clean and well furnished rooms. The bar etc was inclusive. One problem was the "wasps" around the pool, which we were told is a common problem. However we used the garden areas by the sea each day which was nearly free from the wasps. This area also has an inclusive bar, and is very large with ample space and sunbeds. (Without towels!!)
There is a limit of 2 drinks per person per order, and it may seem unfair, but it did save you standing behind someone who wanted at least 10 different drinks and who could not remember them half of the time.
Not all drinks are inclusive such as tonic, but the inclusive list is on each bar, and once used to this it was not a problem.
It was strange that the hotel management would not allow the "main" bar to be inclusive, and this was carpeted with comfortable furniture. Their explanation when asked was that they wanted this bar to be quiet and restful. I asked if they therefore considered the "inclusive" as noisy, to which they would not comment.
I also pointed out that if this bar was to be quiet why do they have a 40+inch TV screen with loud sound and piped music in the bar? Again no answer. The bar was used mainly by the Germans who were mostly non inclusive.
The food was excellent for all meals with good local choice and the usual chips if required.
The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We would definitely recommend this hotel for next year, as I believe they are going to become "fully" all inclusive for next season.

We stayed 10 days all inclusive at the Miramare Beach Hotel, which is split into two sections, the main hotel was very clean and tidy, then you had to mountaineer down a steep slope and across the busy road, which we referred to the M25 to the restaurant area. With a young child this was totally unsuitable as it was on a bend and all the motorists drove very fast!
We were disappointed with the food.
There was plenty of choice but each day was the same food, and most of it was bland and sometimes there was rice for breakfast from the previous evenings dinner, nothing for the children apart from chips, and our daughter ate mostly spaghetti Bolognese, however the chef was kind enough to cook her some chicken nuggets one evening! We ended up going out some evenings into town and our inclusive package ended up costing nearly an extra 600 euros.
The drinks situation was absolutely a joke, we were allowed only two drinks each and with a table of nearly eight people everyone had to get up, the beer was undrinkable, and only had limited local spirits which was like drinking water, if we wanted a gin and tonic we had to pay for the tonic - not up to my expectations.
You could only get ice cream between 4pm-5pm which we were aware of but it ran out most days after 10 minutes!
However the majority of the staff were friendly and helpful the pool was clean, and the evening disco and entertainment was cringeful to say the least.
We made the most of it but it has certainly put me off doing all inclusive again. A week would have been bearable but anything more was just tedious.

We were a party of 4 adults and stayed for 1 week at the end of June 2005. The hotel was absolutely fantastic in every aspect. There are 2 parts to the hotel the original part, which has a beachfront location and is home to the restaurant and the new part, which is across a main road -only 1 lane each way -, but the Greeks do drive fast! The new part of the hotel is superb with 2 fabulous swimming pools, spotlessly clean and with ample sunbeds. The rooms are beautifully decorated and with lovely marble bathrooms. The air conditioning is so efficient that at times you need to turn it off.
The new part is home to the Spa, which is superb and is for adults use only. For just 5 euros per visit or 25 euros per week you can use the indoor pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi - a real welcome escape from the midday sun. If you chose to have a treatment, massage, etc then the use of the spa is free on that day. All of the treatments were very reasonably priced.
The food in the hotel was excellent, always hot and with plenty of choice. Breakfast was a feast with eggs cooked freshly whilst you wait. All served buffet style but with at least 4 hot choices and numerous cold too - even a small selection suitable for those on a diet!
Drinks are served to your table at meal times by very friendly and courteous staff.
The alcoholic drinks are locally produced, as with most all inclusive foreign hotels and whilst not as strong as we are used to were plentiful and acceptable. The lager was very cold and the local Greek brand which is excellent.
The beach in front of the Hotel was narrow and shingle and it is advisable to enter the shallow waters with some suitable footwear as it is a bit rocky. There are so many water sports available from the beach that you will never get bored.
Moraitika town is only a 10 minute walk away and home to over 100 bars and Tavernas, souvenir type shops, supermarkets etc. There is even a go karting track.
The staff in this Hotel were always courteous and I really cannot think of anything that you could find to complain about.
We holiday 4 times each year and this has to be one of the best European all inclusive hotels you will find.
Ignore the negative reports this hotel is well worth a visit.

We recently stayed at Miramare Beach Hotel for a week all inclusive.
The hotel is split up into the old style accommodation, which is situated by the beach where most of the facilities are i.e. main Restaurant, Bars and entertainment etc.
The new style accommodation is situated across the main road on an elevated position. This part is by far the superior more like 4-5 star but you have to cross the road to eat and to get to the main entertainment.
We ended up in the old part, which was clean but very basic more like 2-3 star. This however suited us as it was better located. The food was excellent with plenty of variety to suit all palates and a different Buffet style menu each day. Greek night on Friday was good with a beach style barbecue and later Greek Music & Dancing. The down point for us was the limited drink: - Draught Beer, Ouzo, Metaxa (local Brandy), house wine and pop, this was all you could have in the all inclusive package, any other drinks had to be paid for. The bar staff & waiters were very helpful and polite. Breakfast and main meal times can get quite busy so be quick to get a table!
All in all it added up to a pleasant holiday in nicely located surroundings let down slightly by the limited drink, which we were sick of by the end of the week.

The food was excellent with a wide selection of self-service options. Accommodation was well looked after and clean
Location the hotel and bungalows are situated around an olive grove on the beach, 400 yards from the town / village of Moraitika, which is abundant with shops, bars and clubs. Activities included two outdoor pools, morning afternoon and evening entertainments and games. Friendly staff and local people.

Four of us went on this last minute holiday and before we booked we did read the reviews on this site. I must admit we were forewarned about the "wasps" and all that was said was true- however annoying as they were I didn't hear of too many who were actually stung by them. The hotel room my husband and myself had was lovely with stunning views and was extremely clean. This room was in the separate accommodation across the road-which was ok to cross for adults anyway.
The food was nice but lacked variety and was served lukewarm- however this is understandable as this country feels it is better served this way and we have to accept the customs of the country we travel to. The all inclusive element of the drinks was extremely limited however and I agree with the man who commented it would have been better to have included the main bar in this also- they were very strict on this and even if the weather was chilly you still could only get the all inclusive drinks from the roof top open air bar!
Entertainment was good in evenings and there was a fantastic little Greek restaurant up in the mountains that you could walk to in 10-15mins. The staff were extremely friendly and food delicious, we ate here even though we were all inclusive as it was well worth it. All in all I did enjoy this holiday even though the majority of people in it were over 60!
