Portinax is a very pretty resort with a beautifull safe beach which is both shallow and very safe for swimming especially for young children.

The location of the appartments is also very good with the beach only a few feet from the bar front.

The cleanseness of the appartments were first class , but the only two things that were dissapointing on our stay there was the lack of night entertainment in the resort and the resteraunts were very nice but also quite pricey for the food they served.

The main gripe tho was the attitude of the owners of the appartments , they were very misserable in there outlook and any questions you asked them or any request were met with a unsatisfactory and couldount be bothered attitude, for example one of our freinds that were staying with us , ran out of toilet paper as there was only one roll in the room. when she asked politely for another roll she was greated by the reply that we should realy provide out own as we were there on a self board bassis and was very reluctant to give her any more !

This was just one of a number of sullen replys from them.

So be warned the resort is fine but be warey of the owners of the appartments..

This was the first time that either myself or my good lady had been to Ibiza, as we had heard all the stories of the nightlife in Ibiza town, so we choice a place to just relax and unwind after a very busy year. And unwind we did, Portinatx was just the place to do it, there are things to do if you wish from fine dinning, crazy golf, discos, boat tours etc, or if you wish just stroll along at your own pace around the bay.



There are 2 main beaches, with just the right amount of people with lots of room to soak up that wonderful sun for a glowing tan if you wish. The Es Puet Blanc apts are just perfect and not enough could be done for you with Maria and Toni on, what looks like 24 hr call they, never stopped.



The only minor problem was the steps, which I guess was a small price to pay for a stunning location especially when there are only 19apts in the complex so not crowded, with lots of space. We would certainly recommend it, and are in the process of rebooking, so happy holidays... cant wait for 2008....muchas gracias.

When we arrived at Es Puet Blanc Apartments we were delighted, not because of the very pretty position it was located in but the warmth and friendliness of Maria, Vincent, Tony, Bart and Alberto the owners.



They treated you as one of the family. It was very relaxing and calming holiday. You could sit on your balcony with sunset views to die for, highly recommended.

This resort was beautiful; the welcome we received was a very warm and friendly one. The downside of the apartments were the steps which from top to bottom were 91 in total so not very customer friendly especially if you have trouble getting about and there was no air con so nights were a bit tricky getting to sleep.



The plus side is the location, when it says in the brochure on the beach it means on the beach with stunning sea views every time you look out of the window or sit on the balcony.



I arrived with my wife and two daughters at 5 o'clock Saturday morning July the 15 and were greeted by Maria the owner who showed us to our apartment which was spacious and spotless, with only 16 apartments attention to cleanliness is clearly visible.



The staff were also extremely friendly especially Antonio who could not do enough to please not just us but everyone who sat at the bar or in the restaurant. We picked a good time to go as it was Portinatx' fiesta weekend and there was plenty going on with beach parties and the most amazing firework display at midnight on the Sunday.



Portinatx is a beautiful resort with sea views and stunning countryside and a peaceful and a laid back attitude.



If you want a more relaxed holiday I can thoroughly recommend Portinatx and Es Puet Blanc Apartments.

I went to Ibiza for the first time last year with my boyfriend and his family and I loved it! Its a really quiet place, I loved it because the pool was peaceful and clean and you could lie there all day without being disturbed.



You also don’t have to leave your towel out the night before to guarantee a lounger either! I loved eating in the restaurant at night overlooking the beach and the sea and the food was spot on there wasn’t a single fault.



The rooms were spotless and spacious, as we went in July I was expecting to have little sleep as it would be hot but we hired a fan and it was fine. Al the apartments have a sea view and a balcony which was really nice overlooking the restaurant and the beach. It was brilliant being so close to the beach, it wasnt a crowded beach and if you forgot something it would only take a minute to go and fetch it! Its nice to walk and the coves and we did minigolf, the glass bottom boat and we hired a little boat and went round the cove which was only about 40 euros for an hour.



The apartments are owned by a family of brothers and sisters and they are very friendly and make you feel very welcome.



What I love about Portinatx is it changes the way people associate Ibiza with clubbing, this part of the island is nothing like that its perfect for families and couples that want a relaxing holiday, and if they would like to travel they can because the island is so small and there are some lovely places to visit. Ibiza town is really nice with the cathedral and the harbour and we also visited San Miguel and went inside the caves, we also went to Es Cana and Santa Elluliah for the day.



Es Cana has a large hippy market every Wednesday which is perfect for buying pressies. Portinatx also has a small hippy market on sundays, and there’s some great places to eat.



If your really missing a big fry up there’s Dell Boys which serves great English food, and Es Puet Blanc restaurant has the best food ever I put so much weight on! The food is lovely I were addicted to the burgers lol! I think if your taking your family to Portinatx they will love it coz there is so much to do!



I’m looking forward to going in July again!
