" worth giving it a go "

We originally booked 11 nights at this hotel on a half board basis, but after reading some reviews we decided to upgrade to all inclusive for 19 euros each a day when we arrived at the hotel. What a joy not having to worry about money. The weather was beautiful so we spent quite a few days either around the pool area or on the beach - and never had to spend a euro. This was the first holiday we have gone home with money. The pool and surrounding area was very clean, however, the sunbeds had seen better days and could do with replacing.
The hotel is in a prime position if you want a quiet relaxing holiday away from the usual Ibiza nightlife - a 5 minute walk to nearest bars.
It's just a two minute walk to a nice stretch of beach. The hotel room was lovely and very clean. My only complaint - it was an ajoining room - and there was very very poor soundproofing - so you could hear everything!!!!
The food was excellent, can't fault it - there was so much choice and the restaurant area good. You can eat inside or outside. All in all a good hotel at a reasonable price - worth giving it a go.

Advice: the quieter side of Ibiza

Activities: enjoy the sun

" Shame about the weather "

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Cala Nova Es Cana, less than 30 mins transfer, spotlessly clean hotel, commfy beds, staff that smiled couldn't be more helpful. Good food, loads of choice, stunning views from pool area, less than a stones throw to beach.sea warmer than the pool. The best all inclusive food we have had so far, freshly grilled fish prawns steak lamb pork chops daily, plus fresh joint being carved beef ham chicken. daily choice of local food paella, fish dishes, all hot and tastey, u won't go hungry unless exceptionally picky!!! 24 different puds one day! fresh salads good old english brekie freshly cooked eggs omlettes to order.
Now the dissappointing!!! not bad bits.Yes rooms can be noisey we had considerate neighbours, but it is still a little shocking when they return from night out, sounds like they are entering your room!!!!
We like many others will be returning next year, the evening entertainment is poor... the odd hour long show, some are good, even better when u have had a drink or 2 was the most disappointing bit for us really.. Join in the dayime activities around the pool u get to know others and pick up tips on the area very quickly.
The all inclusive is worth while ..one bottle of water 1 euro 55 on a hot day u get through plenty of these and are allowed to order 4-6 to take to ur room. coffee 1.60, beer 3.50, vodka coke 4.50 thats local stuff. you can purchase drink only bands when there 15 euros if ur not fussed about lunch but the pre booked ones are the best unless u want premium beers etc that 21-25 euros a day purchased there,
there were 5 kids in total the week we went and were told a totally different place when lots of kids.
We had rain... lots of...and storms.. unusual for this time of year so feel a little hard done by but when the suns out its extremely hot so be warned.. i hope this review is helpful, if u are mr adverage u won't be disappointed and hopefully like us will have a great holiday, if u want the hilton, think again. This hotel ticked all our boxes of what we wanted from a holiday, i hope it ticks urs too.

Advice: hippy market every wednesday morning gets busy mind..

Activities: boat trips all bars very friendly and reasonable price.

" Fab Holiday "

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Cala Nova Hotel Es Cana, the food was excellent and catered for all tastes the hotel was clean&comfortable and we had a fabulous sea view. The only fault was all rooms should have a fridge as standard you can hire one at a weekly rate. The Beach is perfect we would love to return one day the only down side for us was the resort which is full of english bars if you like Bingo Sky TV, drag acts and the Bulls Head then this is the resort for you it was such a shame as the small harbour could be a lovely setting but was more like Skegness Oh I forgot the fair as well. If you like a Spanish holiday to be spanish then i recommend Santa Eularia which is lovely and only 2.70 Euro's on the bus or 10 Euro's by taxi and a ten min ride away

Advice: Too English !!!!

Activities: Ibiza Town & Santa Eularia

" Excellent "

We as a family of 5 had a late booking not knowing or having time to have a good look at what we were getting.
Hotel was brilliant, food was good, staff very friendly, entertainment was fab, rooms were cleaned every day towels were changed as often as you required, what else can you ask for. The only down fall was the cost of the drinks was a bit on the dear side but if your a big drinker you can upgrade. Town within walking distance beach on door step. We was well impressed with everything that we are booking soon for next year. Our holiday was the best we ever had...... Highly recommend the Hotel. Thanks to all the staff!

Advice: Loved everything about the place planning to go back next year

Activities: hire a car go to the caves & towns around really nice to see

" A WEEK IN PARADISE "

well just came back from the Cala Nova hotel Es Cana and the title says it al !!! Got to the hotel didnt really know wot to expect but was very surprised . rooms were excellent al had some sort of view . ours looked out onto the sea . postcard snap !!! went down for our first meal . couldnt fault the food excellent . al different nationalitys food . somethin for everyone .would give food 5 star hotel rating . pool was excellent very clean . hotel was on the beach . sea and beach was great very shallow great for kids . i went with parents , 4 kids and a friend and something for everyone . hotel entertainment was good in the day with plenty of activities to keep al ages amused .at night more low key , quizzes , bingo , karoake and shows but was enough . the reps jonny and enea were typical reps with their sayins "its for free jump , jump jump in the pool . " kids disco songs wont go out me head now . the only thing if anything that was a problem was you had to get up very early to get a sunbed but aint that the same at anywhere other than that i would definately recommend this hotel and would say it is more a 4/5 star . i will definately be returning next year and many more to come . one couple had been 17 times and most came back again so its all good . hope this review is of use to people .

Advice: lovely little quiet hideaway ....... definately return again

" Amazing :)- for a 12 year old point of view. "

This is a review of my holiday when i was 12. i am a 13 years old scottish girl and i loved the hotel and the country. The Fiesta hotel was very clean and nice and all the staff were very kind and helpful. The food was very good- especially breakfast. there was all sorts such as full english breakfasts, pancakes, toast, fruit, yoghurts and much more. Dinner also had a huge choice and variety including fish, spanish dishes, rice and pasta, meats and lots more. my favourite dinner was on international day when foods from all over the world were served.
i also found the swimming pool vey good as well as the bar. it was always nice and warm and volleyball could be played every few hours. the beach was also very nice although it was hard to swim in the sea because of the huge amount of jellyfish everywhere. The rooms very big and lovely with balconys and extras like hairdressers, soap, shampoo and more.
The reps were good at helping us on the days we wanted to explore and we went on trips like boat rides and to a huge waterpark from which a bus took us right from outside the hotel. there was a small but nice town only ten minutes away from the hotel and on one of the days a huge hippy market opened up.
the weather was always very good but on the last day it was extremely hot and i couldnt stay outside at all. :(
the only small reason i couldnt quite give the hotel a ten for was because the entertainment wasn't as good as I thought it could be except for a couple of nightd- one where excellent break dancers performed and another where it was Karaoke night. I would still definately consider going again though because everything else was excellent and who knows it might have improved and even if it hadn't it was still quite good and there was a variety of other bars and resteraunts only five minutes away where there were things such as drag queens, karaoke, singers, dancers andd more.
i hope you go to Es cana because its a great place and it would be a shame to miss it. i will look farward to going again one day :) x

Advice: i loved it and would go again :D :)

Activities: a man sat everyday painting characatures :) he was brilliant and good to watch

" Fantastic Hotel.Fantastic resort.

Fantastic Hotel.Fantastic resort.
Food in hotel was varied and of high quality.Room was clean only downside was a
few ants in room and although we reported it and a spray was used they were there all week.I would rate this hotel as good as any gold hotel we have stopped at.There is so much to do in resort. We did a boat trip to Ibiza town, went on a road train into the mountains, went to the hippy market. At night we would walk from bar to bar but always ended up at Popeyes which in fairly close to hotel.Live act on every night and 2 drinks cost 5 euros.

" Just returned from a week’s family... "

Just returned from a week’s family holiday staying at the Cala Nova.
After reading some of the reviews we were a little apprehensive to say the least about the hotel.
On arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful receptionist and nothing was too much trouble.
We upgraded to All Inclusive the cost was 18 euros per adult per day and 9 euros for the children. We found this to be very worth while the only downside is that it does not include ice creams.
The rooms for 2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant (cot) were very cramped a second interconnecting room would have been better..
The hotel was clean, food excellent and plentiful, all the staff were very friendly and helpful the entertainment team worked so hard to accommodate everyone whatever their nationality.
The hotel is right on the beach and is an excellent location for exploring the rest of Es Cana.
A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff…thank you for giving us such a wonderful holiday.

" After using this web site to choose... "

After using this web site to choose my holiday i thought it only right to post my views on this hotel. Holiday with family- grandparents and young chiildren. Resort Great. Hotel very clean, staff friendly, food amazing. Just a five minute walk to centre. Supermarket across the street. Beach was great for kids. Could walk to hippy market from hotel in about 25-30 mins, easy walk through resort centre. Great location for hotel far enough away from fairground shops and bars but not too far so as to be a drag having to walk to them. Definately go again.

" A wonderful Holiday, quiet and... "

A wonderful Holiday, quiet and friendly hotel. The food was excellent. The entertainmeent and activities during the day were varied and enjoyable. the night time entertainment was not always to my taste, but was enjoyed by many, and there was always lots of alternatives within the town.

The situation of the hotel is probably the best within ES Cana, it is situated very close to the beach and on the edge of the town, so it is more secluded than those hotels that are within the centre of town.

The town itself is far quieter than Ibiza Town or San Antonio, with a variety of bars, restaurants and small clubs catering to different tastes and age groups. There are also good bus, boat and Taxi links to the surrounding towns and beaches and also to the big clubs in the centre of the island.
