Fantastic Hotel.Fantastic resort.

Food in hotel was varied and of high quality.Room was clean only downside was a

few ants in room and although we reported it and a spray was used they were there all week.I would rate this hotel as good as any gold hotel we have stopped at.There is so much to do in resort. We did a boat trip to Ibiza town, went on a road train into the mountains, went to the hippy market. At night we would walk from bar to bar but always ended up at Popeyes which in fairly close to hotel.Live act on every night and 2 drinks cost 5 euros.

Just returned from a week’s family holiday staying at the Cala Nova.

After reading some of the reviews we were a little apprehensive to say the least about the hotel.

On arrival we were greeted by the most wonderful receptionist and nothing was too much trouble.

We upgraded to All Inclusive the cost was 18 euros per adult per day and 9 euros for the children. We found this to be very worth while the only downside is that it does not include ice creams.

The rooms for 2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant (cot) were very cramped a second interconnecting room would have been better..

The hotel was clean, food excellent and plentiful, all the staff were very friendly and helpful the entertainment team worked so hard to accommodate everyone whatever their nationality.

The hotel is right on the beach and is an excellent location for exploring the rest of Es Cana.

A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff…thank you for giving us such a wonderful holiday.

After using this web site to choose my holiday i thought it only right to post my views on this hotel. Holiday with family- grandparents and young chiildren. Resort Great. Hotel very clean, staff friendly, food amazing. Just a five minute walk to centre. Supermarket across the street. Beach was great for kids. Could walk to hippy market from hotel in about 25-30 mins, easy walk through resort centre. Great location for hotel far enough away from fairground shops and bars but not too far so as to be a drag having to walk to them. Definately go again.

A wonderful Holiday, quiet and friendly hotel. The food was excellent. The entertainmeent and activities during the day were varied and enjoyable. the night time entertainment was not always to my taste, but was enjoyed by many, and there was always lots of alternatives within the town.

The situation of the hotel is probably the best within ES Cana, it is situated very close to the beach and on the edge of the town, so it is more secluded than those hotels that are within the centre of town.

The town itself is far quieter than Ibiza Town or San Antonio, with a variety of bars, restaurants and small clubs catering to different tastes and age groups. There are also good bus, boat and Taxi links to the surrounding towns and beaches and also to the big clubs in the centre of the island.

The best holiday ever. The food...

After reading all of the mixed comments, being honest i wasn't expecting anything brilliant at es cana hotel. However this soon changed when i arrived. The rooms were great, had no problems with the beds and our view from our balcony was wonderful.

There were comments on here about the pool and how it should have been improved. However when i arrived i didn't notice anything wrong with it, either people were being picky or repair had soon been done over the period the hotel was closed for the winter. It was always clean though and was very large in size.

Entertaintment was FAB. The entertainment was more for the kids however it was great to watch. There were bird shows, bingo every night, acrobatic shows and dancing shows. These shows kepy you entertained from around 8 till midnight. The entertainers were exceptiopnally good and were all very good with children.

Food was Fabulous. There was always different meals every night with a variety of foods to choose from. So if you do have fussy children, don't worry as there is sure to be something for them..afterall the hotel did cater for children.

The area was quite nice too. The beach was wonderful, beautiful sands and the sea as blue as anything. only a 5 minuite walk from the town it was in a handy area.

Well all i can say is that my family and i really enjoyed this holiday and are considering to come back next year!

This was our 8th year at the Cala Nova and 25 of our friends from previous years were returning at the same time as us. As usual the rooms were comfortable and clean and the food was very good. Gonzalo and the other bar staff were as friendly as ever and recognised us straight away!

However, the entertainment team were well below standard and had been drafted in only weeks before we arrived (except Cheryl who was good). They were very disorganised and didn't seem to have their hearts in it. Having brought our drinks bands when we arrived we were reluctant to spend all our evenings in the town and waste our money, so we had to suffer the entertainment. What a shame that the hotel had seen fit to lose Paco - a real trouper and a very nice guy!

Unfortunately we were very unlucky with the weather (it was cool and we had a dreadful storm) and also with seaweed and jellyfish. So this year we are sadly going somewhere else, as are nearly all our friends from before. However if the manager gets his act together and improves the entertainment (can he also fix the weather please!) we may return - I still really love the place.

Our holiday was very enjoyable, much of it was spent in Es Cana town and on the seafront, as a young couple and for our first holiday away together it was great! So great in fact that we are now going back for our honeymoon!

This hotel is in a perfect place to access the quiet beach next door. So close that you can leave your towel on a hotel lounger and see it from the sea, whilst swimming!

The room was very clean and nice size. The balcony provided a sea view (Just about).

The hotel was not at all far from the town, but far enough from it so that you could not hear the hustle and bustle.

Of the evening entertainment which we saw, it left much to be desired, although we usually found other activities in town which kept us busy.

The pool was good, although the entertainment guys kept on doing water aerobics every 30 mins, so you were scared of staying in the pool for too long, or else you would be joined by some of the senior guests who were staying for the aerobics.

Lastly, the food was superb and we felt that there was always great choice, and the food was of good quality.

Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and are looking forward to going back!

Hotel superb in quiet location, adjacent beach, clean with decent cafes. Easy and pleasant walk to harbour. Unfortunately the evening entertainment was absolute rubbish and unprofessional except for 'Aladin', - only suitable for youngsters or easy to please pensioners - definitely needs improving.

The main swimming pool is far too small when the hotel is full and far too deep for non-swimmers with no shallow end for entering the pool.

Excellent food, rooms spotless.

I have been to the hotel now three years on the run and it has been such a fantastic holiday, due to the beach being like a two min walk and the night life being down the road. The hotel itself has a lot of fantastic qualities from; excellent food, staff friendliness and hotel cleanliness. The only downside to my holiday this year was the lack of entertainment involving the children, as past years have involved them in everything including water sports, the entertainment staff did work really hard but lacked enthusiasm (Cherly, Paco and Natalie) need to come back.

What can I say myself and my family have been coming here year after year and we love it will be going again in September.

The staff are friendly and always remember you on your return. The entertainment is first class and each year because it is such a great hotel we meet up with people that we have met over the years also returning. I can't offer a negative word for this place.

Thank you so much to all the team at the Cala Nova they work so hard to give us a great holiday.

We have been going to "Es Cana" for 9 years now and we love it so much. It is a good family resort with something for everyone.

We always stay at the "Cala Nova" and we meet the same people year after year, it has a superb location, the food is very good and the staff are wonderful, the only thing that lets this hotel down is the evening entertainment if you can call it that.

Fiesta really need to put some time and money into this, out of a 2 week stay we only had 2 acts, and they had even introduced a quiet night where you got nothing.

Everyone was complaining as we have all done for years, but I am not sure anyone ever listens. It is such a shame as apart from that it is a great holiday and we will probably still go back next year, but if it wasn't for the people and the location people wouldn't return.

So come on "Fiesta" pull your finger out and do something about the evening entertainment before you lose all your good regular customers.

If you do that I would certainly give it 10/10.
