Hotel Stil Clumba Mar

Just arrived back from the Clumba mar, can Picafort, Majorca. Took the wife 24 and son 3 yrs old.
We booked this on sat 30/7/06 for one week at a cost of £900. It was a last minute deal flew the Sunday from Doncaster airport. Very easy to get to. Downside if your car has flat battery like ours did don’t expect any help very poor service had to call the aa do not expect any help to start your car they do not have the facilities and at 2 in a morning its not what you want!
So back to the holiday. On arrival at Palma we got accommodation info and set off to the bus. No rep on our transfer there! The first impression we got of c 'an Picafort was quite very quite and we thought oh no nothing to do! (Arrived at hotel at 1 am) but there is a lot to do for 1 week 2 could be a push!
The Clumba mar, on first impressions nice clean tidy and believe me it was like that all holiday very, very nice hotel. The meals were very good wide range of foods/kids buffet, well recommended. Formal dress wear for the gents i.e. trousers shirt on an evening or you will not be let in the restaurant. Service was very good with waitresses etc. Breakfast from 8am to 10am. Tea served from 630pm till 9pm. Reception the man to find is Renie he is the man very, very helpful the best you can get! English very, very good nice bloke.
The pool was nice and warm. We had 1 cloudy day and a couple of showers it did make a difference to the pool temp! Toilets very clean in the hotel. Maid service every day! Yes everyday! My only downside to this hotel is that when you have 2 beds and 1 kids bed the room is small. We had a balcony looking on to the caracas bar (sister complex over road. Where you can share the pool facilities) kids well catered for at the hotels no problems there.
Transfer home. Again no rep! This to me was very odd when there were a lot of reps to hand!
On our excursion we went on the pirate’s excursion. Our son was a bit scared at first due to noise but would recommend. The food was a bit of a let down though. Although free sangria/pop all evening made up for it. Show lasted 1 and a half hours not 3 like you will be told the 3 hours were from been kicked off the bus to returning onto it. Taking of which the rep who was at the Clumba Mar (Scottish guy) hardly saw him but the main rep who did the welcome meeting for the resort 5 stars to him very good/knowledgeable.
Overall. You won’t go wrong here. Friendly clean tidy good food and the beach only 3 min walk hotel location very near to main shopping area. Well and truly good deal!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week in July 06. Could not fault this hotel at all. Very clean throughout. Lovely room with maid service daily.
Food absolutely great. Hotel was in ideal position in the resort. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The resort of C'an Picafort is also great with lovely beach and shops.
We were pleasantly surprised by this holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go back and will recommend to friends!

I went to the Clumba mar with my partner & 2 year old daughter what a fantastic time we had. The hotel was spotless clean with room cleaned & fresh towels every day.
There was a wide choice of food on offer with something to keep everyone happy you were shown to your seats all the staff are really friendly. The evening entertainment was fun with a kids half hour, bingo then cabaret. The pool over the road is better than the one situated within hotel which is also owned by the hotel.
The resort itself was really clean with plenty of restaurants and bars but not at all noisy, if you can try the Can Picafort express, a train which goes round the resort my daughter loved it. There is a children’s park just up the road from the Clumba mar. I would definitely go back.

I went with my 3 sisters and my niece all of us aged between 13-18. We had the time of our lives, everything about it was amazing! The staff were very lively and outgoing, they provided us with fantastic entertainment day and night.
There were water sports such as volley ball and other games on in the pool throughout the day and kids mini disco, bingo and cabaret at night. We were never bored on this holiday, the beach is barely a 5 minute walk away and the shops are down the road.
The food in the hotel was lovely, there was a wide choice of meat and vegetables as well as a children’s selection such as chips, fish fingers and nuggets, etc. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice view from the balcony. I think this hotel deserves more than a 3 star!

A lovely hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, they also arranged some excursions for us to go no. We couldn't fault them.
I stayed with my boyfriend for two weeks and had a lovely time, the rooms were well kept very clean and tidy. The food was nice, but didn't cater much for vegetarians I had chips almost every night. There is a variety of food, in a buffet style, although the food we found was a bit repetitive a lot of nights.
The waiter would sometimes follow us to our table to take our drinks order. A nice, well kept swimming pool, for me I found it small and very cold in May when we went. We didn't get to see the evening entertainment as the small room was always packed. Every night there was a children’s disco. So ideal for families and couples, a relaxing holiday.
I would go back but maybe for one week, not two as there wasn't much to do.
