Marinedda Hotel

The staff at this hotel are excellent. Very friendly & welcoming. The resort is officially 4* which I would agree is closer than the 5* that Thomson rate it as. The family suite we had was an excellent set up, very clean, large and pratical. The food that is included is either buffet style or a la carte - With 2 young children we found the buffet the easiet option, the puddings were fabulous! For an additional fee there is a beautiful restaurant which overlooks the sea, we used this one evening whilst hiring the hotel babysitting service. The babysitting service was not really very accessible, we only mamanged to arrange cover for 1 hour, but the staff did try their very best. The kids club is excellent and although our 2 year old was too young the 5 year old loved it & they conquered her fear of the sea. Sardinia is so unspoilt and beautiful you cant fail to enjoy the place, this is also a really lovely presented hotel. Why not 10/10 - 2 reasons the baby pool is poor, the evening meal sittings started a little late for young children & in places it needed a lick of paint in the pool area. Would I go back - Definately!
