June 2010 - We had our best family holiday here, the location is supberb, beautiful beach in a quiet part of Corfu, the animation team are fabulous with the children, the family rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food for all inclusive is unbeatable. We did stay at the Louis Creta Princess the year before and thought it was good but the Louis Grand was even better. We could relax in the knowledge that the children could wonder the hotel while we finished dinenr and in fact could go the mini disco and start without us.

Our second time at this hotel. Just as good as the last. Great variety of food and drink and a willing bunch of staff.
The beach & pool are clean and there are planty of shades and loungers.
Evening entertainment to the usual Greek standard - not very inspiring but they try their best.
Lots of Russians, Germans etc, not many Brits. Quite a lot of (well behaved) children as European schools start holidays earlier than UK.
Room & ensuite clean but beds a bit hard. Room safes hired for 3.5 euros per day.
No wasps in July!

we had ground floor sea view family rooms with terrace, which where v good and spotlessley clean,50metres to pool,further25 metres to beach, would recomend to all,not great for wheel chairs though,
very little else in the resort, but on all inclusive this did not really matter to us,

Have just returned from this hotel and frankly don't think it deserves 4 stars and feel a bit ripped off.
The public areas and reception staff were the only saving grace of this hotel.
The food was just dreadful - practically the same food every lunchtime and evening with very little variety. If you don't like salad and casseroles full of bones you may go hungry. The restaurant staff were pretty morose and scruffy.
The rooms were very basic - you literally get a hairdryer and fridge. Only things provided were a soap dispenser on the wall in the bathroom - no nice little touches like a bar of soap. Only provided with one bath towel each. No tea making in the rooms so take your own.
We gasped at the amount of alcohol being poured for our drinks however it had no effect on us at all and we are not drinkers - we should have been floored by it but weren't.
Very disappointed - we felt that what was provided was being done on the cheap and that's not the experience we paid a lot of money for.

Having read some of the negative reviews of this hotel and resort, I can only think that the people who had a bad time were very unlucky and in the minority. I have just returned from an 11 day stay at this resort with nothing but positive feelings about it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach is one of the best on the island. The other families we met while there, were extremely friendly and we had a wonderful time throughout. Our room was clean, tidy and well kept. The food, for a four star hotel catering for hundreds of guests (the hotel was completely full during our stay) was varied and of a very high quality. For those people who say they were bored after a short while, all i would say was that we found some wonderful places to visit around the island using a brand new hire car, delivered to our door at a very good price. Corfu is a beautiful island and this resort and hotel is a perfect base to explore it. A four star hotel, a four star experience and personally, we came home with some five star memories.

This hotel was clean and tidy and well presented.
The rooms were fairly basic but adequate.
A good selection of food was on offer at all times. The bar area was pleasant with lots of lounge areas to sit and relax and enjoy cocktails.
The pool area was great and safe for kids. There were pool activities throughout the day including water polo and aerobics. Other sports available were football and beach volley ball and tennis.
It is situated right on the beach front and had a variety of water sports on offer. The doughnuts were great fun! Staff were polite and helpful.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! Loved it every time I went with my family for 4 years in a row! Food is beautiful! Pool is lush! The staff even recognised us on return and were so polite and always helpful!
The entertainment was great as its quite out of the way but it just what you need a nice relaxing resort and area, there’s a bus to take you into the town and we went on a boat trip 1 day which was such a giggle if you need an extra day of tanning whilst away this was a fab way and so much fun!
Corfu is great and this hotel makes it better! Everything was just perfect!

This hotel is in a lovely location, right on the beach. However the steep mountain roads are a bit daunting as you travel on the coach to get to it!
The rooms are basic but clean and functional. The main public areas are very well-kept and have an old-world feel to them.
The food on the all-inclusive basis was plentiful and there was always a lot of choice. We never had to wait for a table even with 6 of us at peak times.
The bar in the evening was never too busy to find a seat and there were a good range of cocktails on offer.
The pool area can get very busy so I would recommend finding a suitable spot early.
The sea can get very rough at times and there are not always life guards on duty.
All in all this hotel lived up to expectations and is ideal as a family, all-inclusive holiday.

Just returned from this fantastic hotel, where we have been for the past 4 years. Having read some of the other comments about the hotel falling down and the grounds and beach being dirty, I really do believe these people were at a different hotel (either that or on a different planet).
The rooms are delightful along with the rest of the hotel. The food is great with such a choice for everyone, even the kids.
The pool and surrounding area is so clean I think you could possibly eat your dinner off it. The staff make this hotel the place it is as they are so friendly and cannot do enough for you, from the cleaners to the lovely lifeguards nothing is too much trouble for them.
Hopefully I shall be going again with my children for another delightful two weeks next year (fingers crossed). Definitely worth 10 out of 10.

A very old and dated hotel in need of a lot of re-furbishment. Our hotel room was falling apart (handles coming off the few drawers we had and the wardrobe would not close properly).
The air-conditioning did not work nor did the fridge although we did advise the reception several times of this.
We travelled with Thomson for the last time on this holiday as they did not book us the sea-view we wanted and we ended up looking at a large bush on a cliff a few yards from our balcony. Not a very good view!
The hotel dining was reasonable for choice but you could not get any food that was not luke warm or cold. We feel that this hotel is more suited for families than couples as the pool was always full of children with lilos, balls and rubber rings. It was impossible to swim properly.
The beach, however, was beautiful and well lined with walk boards as the sand got very hot. There is also a good beach bar next door that sold decent beer not the fizzy German lager that the hotel supplied.
The buffet lunch bar was better for food that the dining room and there were plenty of tables but only about 12 in the no smoking section.
I would not return to this hotel again as it was very disappointing. The one good thing about this hotel is that they provided a free shuttle bus to Corfu Town which is the only way to get out of the resort without trying to walk up the very steep road.

An excellent hotel, albeit in an isolated location.
Food good, drinks good, beach small but adequate.
My only gripe is that when we went in August, they were plagued by wasps (not their fault I know), but lunch was served in an outdoor beach restaurant and often I would come to take food (desserts especially) to find wasps crawling all over it. A little off putting at times. I think they could have done more to try and prevent wasps on food.
Other than that, I couldn't fault the place
