The hotel was very old fashioned. Hygiene was not top of their list when it came to cleaning the bathroom and bedroom. Food just ok. Barman "Abdul" was about the highlight of our stay. He was very friendly and eager to please. The cashier never refunded our safe deposits... more

Just returned from a ten day break at this resort. Hotel was lovely, as per other reviews a bit dated but this is quite the norm for Tunisia hotels. Definitely worth its 4 stars. The room was kept clean daily buy the maids. We had a lovely sea view which was paid extra... more

Hotel was clean pleasant rooms. The food and lack of service was appalling. Obviously All Inclusive was very new to this Hotel. Suggest Management send a representative to a 4* All inclusive to see how it is done. The waiting staff were unco-operative and surly. To wait... more

This is the second time for my husband and I to go to Tunisia, we were in Port El Kantoui 4 years ago and just very recently Hammamet 2 weeks ago, we had an amazing time. There the staff were just brilliant so friendly and welcoming and they love the Irish, they don’t get... more

Just returned from our holiday and read lots of reports before going. The hotel and staff were very good. The bedroom with a sea view (which we paid for) was clean but a little dated, however exactly the same as the brochure picture. Clean towels and bedding every day, and... more

The Hotel Aziza is a lovely hotel and merits the 4 stars it has, I expected it to be tired looking based on previous reviews however a sea view room is recommended excellent views of the pool area and sea. At this time of year the hotel is geared mainly for older couples... more

Not for those who want to "have it large"
On arriving to the Hotel Aziza the foyer and bar area are plush and luxurious. Sadly, the rooms do not match up to this standard, but they are spacious and clean, with a large bathroom. Pay extra for a sea view, it is worth it! We travelled with a toddler and a young baby, and there was plenty of room for all of us, our daughter had her own seperate area for that added privacy if you were travelling with an older child. The staff are extremely nice, yes we did encounter the odd grump but surely you will find that everywhere? We found... more
O.A.P's retirement home!
My partner and I recently stayed at the Aziza for a week at the end of March. Looking at 5-day forecasts for weeks on end and speaking to the travel agents, we were hoping for a relaxing week in the sun. Two weeks before we went the temp. was roughly 250 the week before we went it rained for 5 days solid. The actual week we stayed started off promisingly, but soon deteriorated. The sun shone most days but was spoilt by cloud and a cold wind (apparently other countries such as Egypt, Morocco & Majorca had all experienced the same... more
Honeymooners Delight
Given that this trip was for our honeymoon and moreover child free we wanted a place that would hold good and fond memories for years to come for obvious reasons - we were not to be disappointed with the Aziza at all. The hotel was every bit the 4 star standard that we had expected it to be and more. The hotel was clean, beach was clean and all facilities in the order that you would expect of a 4 star hotel. The staff were very friendly especially the little man on the pool side who even took in our towels, books etc while we were... more
thalasso
twelve of us visited to play golf on the citrus olve and forest courses-the courses were adequate and the transfers to and fro the courses were good if sometimes a bit cramped-but the hotel was very good and the revelation for me after a hard days golf was the thallasso therapy . for about seven dinars the pool jets salt water and hot and cold blasts left you feeling totally relaxed. i also enjoyed the little bar in the basement serving strong coffee and chess . Four of us are reurning this february and hope to get better weather than last... more
A relaxing break
My husband and I returned yesterday from a week at the Aziza - relaxed and tanned. As lovers of a relative 'luxury escape' at good value, we were fairly impressed. The pool area especially warrants 4 stars. The photos of the hotel you see on the website do accurately portray the hotel and grounds. But it isn't a 4 star hotel - after a big overhaul of the hotel interior, it might be. Currently we'd say 3 to 3.5 star. The main areas are ok, but tired -especially the bar area. The rooms themselves were the main disappointment for us.... more
fantastic holiday
What a lovely holiday! We could not fault the service or quality of the food, or staff. As it is customary to tip in tunisia, we found that leaving a couple of dinars on the first or second night, and sitting on the same table or in the same area made the waiters recognise you more quickly, and this obviously leads to better service. For example the waiter which served us most of the week would reserve a table for us and have our drinks ready, and even decorate our table with flowers. When by the pool or on the beach wait for the staff... more
If You Want To Relax!
Just got back, and now I'm fully revieved until my next holiday. Everything is nice and easy going, no crowds at the bar, Pool seats always available. Food always plentiful.Hotel space always clean, staff always helpful. The only negative side is the air conditioning They believe the temperature is cool at 23 degrees and that is as low as it goes even when set to 10degrees. Ps As we were leaving flys were becoming a problem maybe they could spray at dusk and dawn to erradicate them.
Nice Hotel, relaxing break
We stayed at the Hotel Aziza in September. It is a lovely hotel and the majority of the staff are very helpful. The rooms were just as you see in the photos. They are a decent size and clean with a separate toilet, large cupboards, tv etc. I would recommend paying extra for a sea view room, they have a decent sized balcony area and a couple of seats and table. There isn’t much to do in the area surrounding the hotel but it isn’t far by taxi to the medina (around 2 dinar). We found the reception staff to be particularly... more
Total Relaxation
We just enjoyed a very chilled out week at the Aziza. The hotel was presented well and the pool and beach were a few steps from your hotel room. I had a massage in the wellness centre which I enjoyed although I wasn't given a towel to wipe off the oil after it. Like previous posters myself and my son both suffered tummy upsets even though I was really careful with what we ate. I also thought that the bar staff were very slow - maybe this is because they weren't charging for the drinks - I have a feeling they may have been schooled... more
VERY relaxing
Looking at every review, I was not surpised by anything at the all-inclusive Aziza. My wife and I went for a chilled-out week and that's exactly what we got. Check-in went smoothly for us but then we arrived at a very sociable hour and got a room we expected. Apparently, some of those who arrived during the night didn't always get the rooms they expected or, indeed, paid for. The room was satisfactory with good air-con (NB: the aircon doesn't work if either the Master Switch on the entrance wall is off or the balcony door isn't shut... more
