An ideally situated complex, local for the sea front walks, bars and various shops in Qawra. The pool was ideal for the children and appartments were extremely clean and comfortable. Bus trips to the sandy beaches were fun on the maltese yellow buses!! Staff were helpful and friendly at all times.

This is a very quiet location, but still within easy reach of the activities going on in Qawra.
The hotel/apartments surround a central area in which is located a swimming pool.
This does mean that at odd times during the day you maybe in the shade, however for me it is nice to get some shade especially in the heat of Summer.
There is an attached Restraunt and this is run indepenently, the meals are basic but enjoyable and the staff were all friendly.
My rating of 8/10 is based upon experience in Malta not worldwide.

We stopped two weeks at the clover complex in august, the first week the temperatures went into the high 30 with only one ceiling fan in the bedroom and a portable fan in the kitchen area come bedroom. The night temperature was too hot by far. The first week the maid came everyday until the Sunday. After that we only saw her twice.
The pool was ok however we did note that they was a lot of debris in the bottom of the pool and a number of people we meet had eye problems through swimming in the pool. There is a restaurant on site this is run by different people to the hotel. We only eat a few times there for launch this was ok. However at night time they put on entertainment which seemed to co-inside with the night menu which was expensive as you could have a better meal in Qawra.
The complex was in a good location and a few upgrades like aircon and removing the water heaters from the rooms would go a long way to improving this complex we did note the certain rooms had aircon! Already. This is our second visit to Malta the Island and the people a lovely. As a budget accommodation then this was ok.
