2 adults, 3 children stayed at Jerma Palace from 11th to 18th August. I would recommend this hotel to holidaymakers to Malta and I would definitely stay there again.
The staff was always courteous, we arrived very late on the 11th/12th due to all the extra security at Heathrow and we were warmly met by the concierge who despite the late hour made us all a welcoming drink. We stayed in the Junior suite on the 5th floor, this room was very clean and pleasant and overlooked the sea.
The facilities were very good, the games room could be brightened up, with a fresh coat of paint and some pictures.
The food in the restaurant was good, however at dinner time the maitre'd on duty always seem to get into a fluster when we turned up as they never had any tables set to seat 5. The maitre'd on duty in the second half of the week didn't seem to have the same problem. All in all our stay was enjoyable.

The restaurant was very large with an excellent selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. However, quality of the main dinner course could have been better, but an excellent selection of sweets.
Organised entertainment - games, quizzes etc - are available if you like that sort of thing.
Good indoor and outdoor pools and sunbathing areas.
Most evening there was music and dancing which, as a spectator, I really enjoyed.
Marsascala town is a 15 to 20 minute walk away along a beautiful promenade. Not much in Marsascala except restaurants and cafes but I really liked it. The natural harbour is beautiful.
Marsascala as a resort is isolated from most other tourist places in Malta and almost without exception they can only be reached by bus by going into Valletta first.
