We have just returned from the Sissi Bay Hotel. It was our 1st time in Crete (or anywhere in Greece for that matter). The hotel was brilliant. The staff really friendly. Especially Monika and Dimitri (also'Scunny' alias Kara!) Food varied and good. BBQ night was great fun... more

no way in this world is this a 4 star hotel!! what 4 star hotel have you ever been in that dont accept credit cards?...the food was not good the dining area was to small for the amount of guests every single ashtray in reception was full..they charge you for air... more

Some of the worst food we have ever tasted. Left over lunch carried over to the evening meal and everything has been cooked on a very low budjet. Mousaka a cheap and national dish didn't feature once on the week we were there. Great beer but terrible sweet wine on the all... more

We had a nice, relaxing holiday in Sissi, mainly due to the lovely views, the weather and the great people we met. The hotel facilities are adequate, with comfortable rooms(despite the cost of air conditioning), great pools and nice location - the 'on the beach' sales... more

We arrived at 5.30am with our very tired 6 year old. When we managed to take our own cases up to our junior suite supposedly 4 star - what a surprise. It seemed more like a 2 star and so hot. We had to pay for air conditioning as extra even though we were all inclusive. ... more

i think this place is awful; the ppl are rude and dont care......be warned u have to pay for travel cots 42 euros and the air con and saftey deposit boxes complete rip off!!!!this is no way a 4 star more like a 2 star and the staff need a good kick up the rear and need to sort out there attitudes!!!!JUST DONT BOTHER!!!!EVER
